I just read the latest news about GG on his website : "Gareth has done enormously well since losing Pop Idol and is hoping to release his first single next week. He is staking everything on a pop career and believes he is in for the long haul." As his career disappears into the mist, GG is now to be in a pantomime this Christmas. I`ve seen him checking tickets on that train too. He came in for a lot of grief and I think he was brave to take the job. Most people were saying cruel things and one chap even called him Will Young ! How rude. Now his pop `career` has failed so miserably, he should just disappear back from where he came and not show his face in public. I even heard he had managed to get a job in a pantomime after promising to work for nothing. The railway company were glad to see the back of him.

Yes, I too heard that same rumour, but whether it`s true or not remains to be seen. It`s very sad. Young hopefuls should remember all this when getting excited about going on X factor or Pop Idol, that of all the entrants, only WY remains in the public eye. Many others are now struggling to get a job against the questions like "weren`t you a pop idol failure ?" They tasted fame for a moment, and are forever heartbroken. Gareth got so near, yet is now virtually unemployable and bankrupt.Poor kid.

He was quite irate because everyone was whispering and some of us were enquiring about this new job.
