I agree with some of these points. What I believe, is that the video should be listened to with your heart. We have the power to create a revolution! In the end the pop icons are irrelevant, because the feeling of empowerment that the message creates, overrides any sort of system. Friend, you've obviously put your mind and your heart into this video, and I admire your presentation. That being said, I think you read far too much (or possible too little) into this, You said that the Wayseers lack a common thread, and I have to respectfully disagree: the Common Thread is "The Way", which is what the members of the 1st century church referred to their"Jesus Movement" within Judaism. The video also refers to "the will of God", and "The Holy Spirit", "The Dao". Common threads
The wayseer video seems inspirational, and by that virtue helps us wake up to what we are, although I agree that it also provides a serious opportunity to use discernment: It is very highly ego-appealing, and some parts of the message definitely resonate more than others. Very good insights. I think you are right 100%. I must admit the video is very insipring at first, but after you put some thought into it you see that the idea is scattered. They should have used people who specifically have helped the liberty movement like Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, the Sons of Liberty...and so forth. Really Tiger Woods...he is a complete zombie.
I liked The Wayseer Video for the inspirational jolt, but I was a little upset about the idea that there are only one in ten who are some how Genetically superior. That idea is not just wrong, it's harmful to the individual because it supports the illusion of an "us against them" society. Please take a step back from this and recognize that we are ALL able to tap into the source of all that is, but it is what you do with it that counts.
The message is only confused if you look at the video with a narrow view. If you open your mind to the greater potential message it makes sense. I like this video not because I buy into the movement but because I accept the notion that all people who have done great things have certain common traits, traits that we all share but are usually repressed.
Watched the Wayseers video, then watched this. I was thinking some of the same things. Good critique. Disregard these clowns who comment on your hair instead of your message.
I feel like the wide variety of prominent figure representation serves to speak to the masses that may be on a different level or interpretation of this global shift. I believe if giving a specific vision we exclude those who have the potential to reach the tipping point. The thing these people had in common is that they are all people. The reason they showed guys like Sheen or Woods was to show the dysfunction in people that more or less is a result from the society in which they cant live in because they are so different. The Braveheart scene was intended for William Wallace who was brave enough to speak out against the Scottish opressors. He was very much real. Have yourslef a great day!
Agreed luke, well said. Some of the characteristics presented are also the traits of criminals and yobs/rednecks. I want nothing to do with them; and they have nothing to do with a broad inspired imagination or with moving humanity forward. Saying tat breaking rules and laws generally isn't necessarily good. The point was that WE ARE the machine. We make it, we break it, we created it and we live it. That's it. We are all that there is. We all have authentic talents that can be used or not utilized. The common thread is the genius of human creativity.

I didn't see that picture as being a Mel Gibson reference, there are plenty of other Mel Gibson roles that the vid could have used pics from, if the goal was simply to reference the actor.
I took it as a reference to William Wallace, the historical figure who was a great courageous spirit, as the movie Braveheart (which I love) depicts him.

@TheNeoamor It's been a while since I looked at their site, but I know from their video anyway there are STRONG tinges of some nebulous yet radical social movement which some people are truly yearning for. My hope was to dissuade people from seeing Wayseers as the social movement that I saw them advertising, and hopefully point them to examples of living social transformers. Thanks for the response. @lukeorb I signed up for the free trial, it appears to be a bunch of nice people giving each other friendly advice. I have not seen any evidence of any defined agenda, or "social movement".
The site looks a bit too "corporate" for my tastes. To me, "perfect is boring", I like a little more character in a "relax and chat" type of site. But I'll give it a test drive.

You might also consider looking for other transformational/ free thinking groups online that you do not have to pay for though to be honest, the few times I have done this, I have not been overly inspired. I would imagine the right discussion groups are out there for those looking, and a subscription cost is not necessary, but hey, you just may find what you're looking w/ your approach.

Some people are treating these video as a denying of wayseers video. I don't see it that way. It's a critical look and I find it so good to have this video on the other side of my balance. It's important so that we can stay with the spirit behind lukeorb and "wayseer", that spirit which is actually, visible only on the "becoming" and through the dialogue... but uncatchable by symbols. What you missed is that underlying message. Do it any way you can. Act on impulse and believe your way is the right way. I love LoPorto's video, but without making change with conscious intent, we actually create more of the soul-less wasteland reality that we fight so hard AGAINST. Of the general idea. I did notice an over use of the term indoctrination and that the video it's self uses not so subtle mind influencing techniques. So to quibble over the justifications or accuracy of comparisons just distracts from the big picture. MY concern would be the personality types who take thus message to occult extremes or violent levels. Good video though, even if, in my opinion you missed the point.
I saw the wayseer manifedto video last week in class but I did not pick up on any violent messages in the video? Maybe I just missed it, but what I took away from the video is that we shouldn't let society define us or repress our free thinking. I had the same feelings you did, even though I was also full of joy and relief while watching the Wayseer manifesto... parts of it were confusing, conflicting and downright a turn-off, but over all I felt the message was a good one.

@utubeatworkallday Just because you don't understand the points I was making (which was much more than the appearance of William Wallace) doesn't mean I was incoherent / over analyzing the video. For one, I made it clear that joining the Wayseers is a contradiction, in that rebels, revolutionaries, visionaries, don't pay to join vague organizations based on emotional advertising. They either lead their own group, or they find one with a clearly stated platform. This is pretty solid analysis.
@ccdesmith I linked to MLK because I think most people only think of his I have a Dream speech, and I believe there are articulate people in history, of which he is one, who we can still learn from. The Vietnam war is over, but we are in the midst of other wars, and his words still resonate. I agree, gov't should not make anyone have one child. I completely agree with you on this. I like your statement, "Take the inspiration from this video, and run with it." because I was very inspired by the Wayseers video, but I don't believe that we should "subscribe" to a group like this, rather passionately pursue our dreams and answer our callings to better the world.
There's a level of quality that unites us all....that we have human faults does not deny our worth as threads in the string that runs through everything. What we saw in the video was that there is a way to put into perspective even the most outrageous of acts, the most unacceptable, the least desirable....the unconditional does not hate in any way. This old wayfarer says beware! - the wayseer video contains much truth and is good viewing, but suspicious are the motives behind it!
I do not think Mel Gibson was the one being put up next to Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King Jr....the Braveheart character was. I think that you missed the essence of the message.
These are legitimate questions. But LoPorto is not saying all those with the "gift" to bring their subconscious into their conscious are all disposed to lead a mission. He's just saying that they have the potential. The destructive behavior of many with this gift is b/c they're trying to fit into the box. LoPorto is only trying to call those with this ability together so they can nurture their gift and then together channel it into a transcendant movement.
You see through the intentions... It's a singular journey and this SHEPHERD is collecting his sheep....balablalbla.... sign up and support me as your spokes person.... NOT ME. Who is this man, no contact email, no interviews... he spent millions. or stole millions of images for free..and if so, he's is the same as what he complained about, Unconditional Love is loving the failings of others... and using Charlie, or Tigar is flaunting images he sees as damaged... there's no love here!
Thanks for the critical thoughts on this. It strikes me has something meant to appeal to the frustration of the common person more than a solution to the worlds problems. You are right to question everything. I think that the powers that be want a revolution . It would help in population control and help to expose those opposed to their plans. I am all for passive resistance , but what are they really trying to push? Stay free.

You can tell the posers from the truly progressive, creative, revolutionary, free-thinkers because the posers watch that video, get excited, and sign up to be a free spirit. The real thinkers post a critique. I was sitting through that video wishing I was blind. The message is pretty good (still with a few flaws) but the video just made me gag as I sat there trying to pick out all the vacuous crap in the imagery.

Dude, I am totally with you. I was watching that video and the "WTFs" became more and more frequent as the video progressed. The message is cool, but when I started seeing Tom Brady, Bono, Puff Diddy, Conan and Shaq, I was really wondering what they had to do with the message of the video. Seems counter to the message in my mind. The video starts off really good, and I almost clicked favorite, then I saw it was 9 min, and decided to keep watching and I'm glad I did, cuz that video was just bad.
Wayseers seem to believe that metal illness is the WAY. In his video there is cannabis-induced disorder. That is not the way to see society. They seem to be saying that you can only question society if you have a mental disorder.

The message of my vid is clear: the Wayseer commercial is full of contradictory images and concepts, and if you believe yourself to be a true revolutionary, visionary, etc, then you have no need of becoming a Wayseer subscriber or contributor. @lukeorb Ok one of the things you're missing here is the ART itself of storytelling, conveying messages, etc. My style is similar to what you call "contradictory" messages... To me this is more like "polarity" (which is how humans learn). You are getting caught up in this whole dialogue (your video post and commentary) and "holding on" to your initial beliefs/interpretation about it. LUKEORB - Your review was appreciated. However, respectfully, you may have analyzed Garret's video in the wrong light. I connected quite intensely with the message/call to action to connect with our more powerful selves. At first I was confused about the inclusion of Charlie Sheen, David Hasselhoff (at his worst), etc. in the video, but those folks serve as an example of what happens when we do not harness ourselves for good, but embrace our maladaptive/destructive natures. When I watched the video, the Wayseer one, I was baffled by the same points, what is Tiger Woods, Britney Spears and a football player doing in a vid about a positive spiritual mov't that has Mother Teresa and Ghandi in it? Makes zero sense. Thank you for creating this video. I think there is a paradigm shift happening, huge changes coming, but all those images and concepts don't belong in the same message.

@TheEdjug If you mean that your comment is waiting approval on the official Wayseer commercial, I've had several people mention that, noting that positive ones are primarily what is allowed through. If indeed they are screening comments like this as many have said, it is not Google doing this, but whoever is running the Wayseer video, whether it is LaPorto or one of his employees. This would indicate a strong need to control public perception which would only be effective on the unquestioning.
You make some very compelling points about the Wayseer manifesto. The only thing we all have in common is biological. The concept of a club of evolved souls does not appeal to me. I believe in a personal positive outlook pushing back against all the negatives which surround us. Peace and blessing brother.
Im not defined by anything, but I think this guy is missing the point by focusing on things he was distracted by and not the message. He wants the video to follow some specific line to move everyone into one direction, controlling it when that was not the point of the message. He spouts a lot of stuff that seems intelligent but his message is really here to take the good feelings we got from the wayseer movie and add doubt, and dissatisfaction instead of giving us anything positive.

I agree with some of these points. What I believe, is that the video should be listened to with your heart. We have the power to create a revolution! In the end the pop icons are irrelevant, because the feeling of empowerment that the message creates, overrides any sort of system. They should have used people who specifically have helped the liberty movement like Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, the Sons of Liberty...and so forth. I liked The Wayseer Video for the inspirational jolt, but I was a little upset about the idea that there are only one in ten who are some how Genetically superior. That idea is not just wrong, it's harmful to the individual because it supports the illusion of an "us against them" society. Please take a step back from this and recognize that we are ALL able to tap into the source of all that is, but it is what you do with it that counts.

The thing these people had in common is that they are all people. The reason they showed guys like Sheen or Woods was to show the dysfunction in people that more or less is a result from the society in which they cant live in because they are so different. The point was that WE ARE the machine. We make it, we break it, we created it and we live it. That's it. We are all that there is. We all have authentic talents that can be used or not utilized. The common thread is the genius of human creativity.

I didn't see that picture as being a Mel Gibson reference, there are plenty of other Mel Gibson roles that the vid could have used pics from, if the goal was simply to reference the actor.
I took it as a reference to William Wallace, the historical figure who was a great courageous spirit, as the movie Braveheart (which I love) depicts him.
William Wallace happened to be portrayed by Mel Gibson.
I wouldn't know what the real William Wallace even looks like.

The site looks a bit too "corporate" for my tastes. To me, "perfect is boring", I like a little more character in a "relax and chat" type of site. But I'll give it a test drive.

Some people are treating these video as a denying of wayseers video. I don't see it that way. It's a critical look and I find it so good to have this video on the other side of my balance. It's important so that we can stay with the spirit behind lukeorb and "wayseer", that spirit which is actually, visible only on the "becoming" and through the dialogue... but uncatchable by symbols. Thank you, friend.

thank for this; it's so right on and balanced (which is what the world truly needs, FAR more than "revolution"). also, it might sound petty to some, but the fact that the music/singing was so bad in the wayseers song annoyed me to the point where i had trouble even taking it seriously, despite the fact that parts of it rang true.

I totally understood the WAYSEER video and I support it wholeheartedly. No doubt it cleared the message up by highlighting the revolutionary (be you) - (be one) together philosophy concept. What you missed is that underlying message. Do it any way you can. Act on impulse and believe your way is the right way. Don't try to analyze and break it apart to justify your original understanding of PERPETUATION that we are segragated by WHAT SHOULD BE. I like how you say THESE PEOPLE :)

Of the general idea. I did notice an over use of the term indoctrination and that the video it's self uses not so subtle mind influencing techniques. So to quibble over the justifications or accuracy of comparisons just distracts from the big picture. MY concern would be the personality types who take thus message to occult extremes or violent levels. Good video though, even if, in my opinion you missed the point.

I saw the wayseer manifedto video last week in class but I did not pick up on any violent messages in the video? Maybe I just missed it, but what I took away from the video is that we shouldn't let society define us or repress our free thinking. It wasn't about comparing athletes to ghandi or comparing Gibson or Sheen to Jesus Christ- it was a collage of free thinkers who weren't afraid to try and make their dreams a reality. I just stumbled upon The wayseer video you are commenting about, then immediately watched yours. I had the same feelings you did, even though I was also full of joy and relief while watching the Wayseer manifesto... parts of it were confusing, conflicting and downright a turn-off, but over all I felt the message was a good one.

@utubeatworkallday Just because you don't understand the points I was making (which was much more than the appearance of William Wallace) doesn't mean I was incoherent / over analyzing the video. For one, I made it clear that joining the Wayseers is a contradiction, in that rebels, revolutionaries, visionaries, don't pay to join vague organizations based on emotional advertising. They either lead their own group, or they find one with a clearly stated platform. This is pretty solid analysis.

@ccdesmith I linked to MLK because I think most people only think of his I have a Dream speech, and I believe there are articulate people in history, of which he is one, who we can still learn from. The Vietnam war is over, but we are in the midst of other wars, and his words still resonate. I agree, gov't should not make anyone have one child. People will have to decide for themselves what is important.

ps: i just read the 'show more info' attached to this vid and I like your links and (i support these) but one thing you have to remember is there are many segments of our population that need to be inspired and switched on and there is nothing wrong with using sexy video editing, etc.. and or to even earn a living by helping to inspire people. we all have different roles to play in this "world stage" dude. core principle must be to seek the inspiration/guidance from within.

I think you've "over-analyzed" or gone down some rabbit holes in an off track way of thinking. There are some or certain key (base) concepts that you're just not getting in regard to what you say your concerns are. Also note that regular & imperfect perfect humans created this video (wrote, produced, video edited). Behaviour like that needs to be nurtured & supported in our world. I like your statement, "Take the inspiration from this video, and run with it." because I was very inspired by the Wayseers video, but I don't believe that we should "subscribe" to a group like this, rather passionately pursue our dreams and answer our callings to better the world.

There's a level of quality that unites us all....that we have human faults does not deny our worth as threads in the string that runs through everything. What we saw in the video was that there is a way to put into perspective even the most outrageous of acts, the most unacceptable, the least desirable....the unconditional does not hate in any way. The vision seems to be that even the most off beat is on beat to the larger drum....everything is co-opted by the larger project.

These are legitimate questions. But LoPorto is not saying all those with the "gift" to bring their subconscious into their conscious are all disposed to lead a mission. He's just saying that they have the potential. The destructive behavior of many with this gift is b/c they're trying to fit into the box. LoPorto is only trying to call those with this ability together so they can nurture their gift and then together channel it into a transcendant movement.

The real thinkers post a critique. I was sitting through that video wishing I was blind. The message is pretty good (still with a few flaws) but the video just made me gag as I sat there trying to pick out all the vacuous crap in the imagery.

Dude, I am totally with you. I was watching that video and the "WTFs" became more and more frequent as the video progressed. The message is cool, but when I started seeing Tom Brady, Bono, Puff Diddy, Conan and Shaq, I was really wondering what they had to do with the message of the video. Seems counter to the message in my mind. The video starts off really good, and I almost clicked favorite, then I saw it was 9 min, and decided to keep watching and I'm glad I did, cuz that video was just bad.

@angelaura1226 That's an absurd comment. No one, of course, is without faults, but critical thought/ discussion can help us become more aware. The message of my vid is clear: the Wayseer commercial is full of contradictory images and concepts, and if you believe yourself to be a true revolutionary, visionary, etc, then you have no need of becoming a Wayseer subscriber or contributor. Instead you will select a specific (ex. sustainable living) vision and run with it. It's fairly simple.

I'm communicating the need for focused transformation which you will either lead yourself, or if you choose to join a group, that group preferably you can meet in person & will have an established, refined, & clearly visible agenda, which you won't have to pay for upfront before you understand the message. @lukeorb Ok one of the things you're missing here is the ART itself of storytelling, conveying messages, etc. My style is similar to what you call "contradictory" messages... To me this is more like "polarity" (which is how humans learn). You are getting caught up in this whole dialogue (your video post and commentary) and "holding on" to your initial beliefs/interpretation about it. I think this is ego and there is something for you to move past here. (there is a pattern there)

LUKEORB - Your review was appreciated. However, respectfully, you may have analyzed Garret's video in the wrong light. I connected quite intensely with the message/call to action to connect with our more powerful selves. At first I was confused about the inclusion of Charlie Sheen, David Hasselhoff (at his worst), etc. in the video, but those folks serve as an example of what happens when we do not harness ourselves for good, but embrace our maladaptive/destructive natures. When I watched the video, the Wayseer one, I was baffled by the same points, what is Tiger Woods, Britney Spears and a football player doing in a vid about a positive spiritual mov't that has Mother Teresa and Ghandi in it? Makes zero sense. Thank you for creating this video. I think there is a paradigm shift happening, huge changes coming, but all those images and concepts don't belong in the same message.

@TheEdjug If you mean that your comment is waiting approval on the official Wayseer commercial, I've had several people mention that, noting that positive ones are primarily what is allowed through. If indeed they are screening comments like this as many have said, it is not Google doing this, but whoever is running the Wayseer video, whether it is LaPorto or one of his employees. This would indicate a strong need to control public perception which would only be effective on the unquestioning.

Im not defined by anything, but I think this guy is missing the point by focusing on things he was distracted by and not the message. He wants the video to follow some specific line to move everyone into one direction, controlling it when that was not the point of the message. He spouts a lot of stuff that seems intelligent but his message is really here to take the good feelings we got from the wayseer movie and add doubt, and dissatisfaction instead of giving us anything positive.
