I agree with Rez...that was writting all wrong. Blake would have stormed over and smacked Phillip so hard he would have fallen over and hit his head against the wall.

I would have loved to have seen Mel come in and confront Phillip. She could have said: "Do you know what a pain in the @ss Beth was after we all thought you had died, she kept coming between Rick and I, slept with him, and you may not have been around but you did play a major part in our marriage breaking up!". "Did you hate me that much, did you have a problem with me because I was African American or because I was taking your "Boy" Rick away from you!". You should have died!

Wish this had been written differently. Blake would have physically attacked/slapped Phil over Ross! Blake was never a Phil fan after their divorce! Ross was SO, SO LOVED by Phil... more than he loved his own father Justin, Ross' bro. Such a SHORT scene for something that could have been so poignant.Could have been an Emmy type scene as we see both characters' layers of grief. Phil's guilt was hidden behind smirk... no good dialogue to explore the drama! A waste of Eliz and GA's abilities!
