That whine that you hear is common on all CAF rail cars. CAF also has LRVs up in Pittsburgh as well as rehabilitated Siemens ones.

Thw whine is also common on rohr trains to due to excessive efforts of the 3 pahse motors propulsion not to metnion the especially eminate noise when stopping/braking.
