Just heard during the Broncos/Bears halftime that Tedy will be announcing his retirement tomorrow morning 8-31-09. The Patriot's defense will not be the same without him. He is one of my favorite players. He will be greatly missed.

one of the best linebackers of my generation, i remember getting his jersey like 6 years ago when i was 12 years old, i was so excited. he was an amazing player but it was his time and i doubt beyond leadership that we will miss him this year due to his minimum playing time and new 4-3 defensive schemes that we will be trying from time to time. Guyton will resume his role and Jerod Mayo says they have so much chemistry together. i think we will be fine. Bruschi will always be in my heart :(

Received the #54 jersey last Christmas when I lived in Maryland doing a job. The Ravens fans hated me for it, but it was an honor wearing Bruschi's number. Truly a fighter he is!
