i got my 2001 T5 last year with 140,000. i dont think the previous owner treated the car very well, but i've rehabilitated it and now i think it loves me as much as i love it.
i just replaced the squeaky upper spring seats earlier today and added a pair of bilstein struts in the process. it's a whole new car and i fell in love with it all over again tonight. :D :D
I was turning and thats why I could not floor it right away but still the torque limiter is annoying in 1st gear.
In this video, I have no intake, but later I made my own intake from a spectre filter and a homemade heatshield. I hope to soon have an exhaust installed. Ill make a video when thats ready : )
The R is much more expensive, and they only made them from 2004 to 2007. Volvo made S60 T5s from 2001 to 2009, so they are much cheaper and easier to get.

Nope it was used with 183,000 miles when I got it. It was in great condition though. Now I have a S60R :)

Looks about right, same as my 2003 S60T5 (auto).
0-20 is pretty slow on the auto's but after that it goes really well!
Test drove a RX8 [231] the other and it was no where near as quick, very dissapointing actualy....just out of interest what intake do you have???

its more so after the air intake I put in. Now you can hear the turbo whistle and the CBV sound.
