Its just a moving image of a recognisable 3D object that is flat black and has no 3D data to complete the image. I figured it out. First I muted the annoying music and then I watched the foot shadow at the bottom of the screen. Every revolution it moves right to left giving the illusion it is a clockwise motion. Block the foot shadow and the illusion really takes effect. It has nothing to do with perception. It is just another cheap visual effect, lame.

Okay, try this. Watch at the beginning and see which direction she's spinning. Then forward the video a minute or so and see which direction she's spinning then. I'm finding, that she starts spinning a different direction at different times. I'm not watching her for long, just a few seconds, then skip forward. I feel skeptical about this.

because it's only a two dimensional image, it's NOT turning at all, except in your mind, it's all perception, one leg CAN NOT pass in front of the other, because the image is ONLY two dimensional

i saw her only spinning right for so long i barely realized it going left all of a sudden... seems to keep it spining counterclockwise is harder for me...everytime i look away or change my attention it shifts... also i brought a friend into the room and he was watching at the same time when i asked him to look away just as i suspected it changed immediately... very strange.. does anyone have deeper insight to this ?

It is an optical effect much like the old optical illusion pictures where the stack of cubes appears to shift it's number. By focusing on the foot or another part that seems to shift into the body you can control the way you perceive the effect.

Wtf! I really am confused now... I tried to change the spin by only looking at her head, and the side it leans to... And couldn't do it. I switched the direction by watching the legs... Looked up, and her head was tilting to the opposite side. This is a fucked up illusion, damn! I think that the spin changes literally every time, but the human cognitive function will see the same spin if you aren't focusing your attention.

Ok I take my comment back. I can make her change the spin back and forth between cw and ccw on every spin. This is a very interesting optical illusion. But its not telekinesis or whatever the poster stated it was. I'm on my iPhone so I can't see lol.

AH i got it!
To make it spin the other way all you have to do is think like what is 198+33 so then it push's the thoughts about the spinning chick out of the way and into the other side of the brain why the other side now does the math
lol it started spinning the other way for me when i started to kinda take my eyes off it and a little out of focus why i was thinking in my head, then i saw it spin the other way and i was like wtf then it stopped cause it came back to the other side of me brain

ahha there ar more sequent on thys video and i thinkh that 1 of it is not shownd on the video a sequnce taht changes her feet and hands in a more larger way so when you will search the sequent you will not find the sequente it is randomly and changes for you to not find it and it is a big leap time .i guees i used my left brain only .

Looking this up on wikipedia shows it was created by a web designer as an optical illusion. Nothing more. Furthermore, the reason she spins different directions (and now I get why I'm seeing different directions when moving forward in video) is because you have no real sense of depth. The best way to see different directions, is to try to see which foot she's spinning on. Left or Right. This has nothing to do with your brain function.

Okay, try this. Watch at the beginning and see which direction she's spinning. Then forward the video a minute or so and see which direction she's spinning then. I'm finding, that she starts spinning a different direction at different times. I'm not watching her for long, just a few seconds, then skip forward. I feel skeptical about this.

if u look at it with your peripherall vision and its easyer to make it move wich ever direction you want. then slowly move your head to the center of the screen while still using your peripheral vision untill you finnaly see she doest completly turn 360 degrees.. she only goes back and forth

OMG! I can do it! It's all how you perceive it. When her leg is farthest out and starts coming back in, you have to switch in your mind whether her foot is pointing towards you or away from you.
