What's with the elmer fud accent? Anyway... big fan of Junji Ito's work. Even though you may not know what's going on or why it's happening, it's still quite unsettling... this sense of claustrophobia. Very scary! :)

The concept of a human having their body forced into that kind of shape, and the process it requires, is truly terrifying.

... I just have a little trouble buying how anyone would be that moronic enough to put themselves in such a dangerous situation.

Perhaps it was hypnoses or maybe it was aliens... but no matter how many times I try to justify it, I still don't buy into it.

... Why not just demolish the damned thing, or seal it up?

Why they went the holes? I agree it´s for sure kind of symbolism, Kafka, Lowecraft even the acid...perhaps auto-hypnosis, may be aliens...But why certain people want their body to be forced to certain kind of shape and why are accepting terryfying processes required, putting themselves into dangerous situation? What the hell they are just enjoying that? Now we found the answer! But should be the fantasmagorious comic a caricature of the phenomena? Any idea?
