I don't take drugs!! I think we all should try to find a solution to eliminate corruption!! I think corruption comands everything including drugs! whoever wants to use it, it will be their decision! We as parents, should give some guidance to our children for them not to get involve in this! But please please.. lets think about how to eliminate CORRUPTION FIRST!!!!
Just because its 'normal' doesn't make it 'natural'. The question is what wqe call regimes that creates a dicipline working against our nature, rather than with it...
The dream of a drug free world is a totaltarian ideology and the War on Drugs is a result of that, just as the Berlin Wall was a result of socialist opression. If you are against totalitarianism in general, you should also be against drug prohibition.
Globally, the most dangerous and widely used drug is SUGAR. It kills people, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, organ damage, mental health impairment. Decriminalise narcotics and refocus policies on health and education. If government depicted the honest realtity of illicit drug use both the positive and the negative and regulated the sale of medical grade drugs, this economic strategy would finance the party industry. And kids would be informed on the real dangers of mental illness and drug use
a free country cannot have a drug war. a Constitutional America cannot have a drug war. i am very happy with Barney Frank and Ron Paul for addressing this issue head-on. won't go anywhere...but at least they were willing to signal the seachange in policy that is needed.
@TheZenichiMaro If you keep thinking it won't go anywhere than it won't. If more people believe it possible, than support will spread and legalization will be actualized.

How did we reach the point where finite human beings, on the planet with other finite human beings, get the power to tell all human beings what they can and can't put in their bodies?!? At the same time that they permit, and tax, products like tobacco and alcohol which kills untold numbers daily? We need to put these sanctimonious hypocrites in their place-- "The Dustbin of History!!!
I am so happy that finally someone has the courage to make a smart anti drug movie. I think people need to understand that honesty with your kids will be the best way to prevent them from becoming addicts.
Its because of the people that are scared they will lose control. Once drugs and the right to experiment with the mind and body is given back, by law, to people. People will realize how much freedom they were being held from. Once this happens people will start realizing that they have a say in how things work instead of systems that are kept alive by dipshits . Anyone know where I can view this video and when it comes out?
I demand to see this documentary right now. That trailer was stunning, from the looks of it, to be the absolute best drug documentary out there. I can not wait for it release.
@liberaldigest Agreed it looks great. There was a documentary series here on TV in the UK last year called Our Drugs War that is worth checking out, particularly the second episode.
@gojetsandpackers Because it would have ended their careers to talk about it when they were in office. Everyone knows Bill Clinton and Barack Obama used to toke up, but you wouldn't see any president talking about legalizing while they're in office. It's a controversial issue.
@gojetsandpackers Actually, maybe one day legalizing drugs will be on the table. In a truly progressive society, this can happen. But we have to work towards it.
@dinolandra I never said it wouldn't, but I'm saying if Bill Clinton and other presidents, leaders, mayors, Governors etc. are talking about the war on drugs after they left office, why didn't they try to change the laws then? When they had power.
But for real, I am 100% down for the legalization of drugs, not only because I enjoy them, but because it makes fucking sense. That last line said it all.
Governments do not have the courage to take responsibility for this, they would rather abdicate that responsibility and let the organised criminal element control it.
They are elected to take responsibility for issues that effect society, abdication of said responsibility means they are not fit for office.
@remryan The Swedish equivalent to that argument (since slavery was never a big issue), would be that we once put people in jail for homosexuality, since that was the law, and people used the same circular argument for that as they do now about people and drugs.
@remryan How true. Using the law as a justification is very dangerous, because this tavtics can be used to justify the shooting of people at the Berlin Wall, the incarceration of people in concentration camps and even the Holocaust.
Just because something is law doesn't mean it's right.
Although there are considerable points in this video, i dont believe you just could set drugs free and watch the movement itself to get weaker and eventually disappears. If it ever happened, it would first cause a massive destruction within families in a level still unseen so far.
@DerAdventurer Legalisation has been twisted to mean free market, and that would be an absolutely awful thing. Drugs are dangerous, what we need is a controlled market, with enforceable regulation. At the moment our current drug policy abdicates control of the drug market to criminal organisations who use violence to enforce their market control and have little concern for the damage they create in people's lives. It's time we took control back!
Drugs are bad.

Here is a key question, What is the moral or ethical reason for taking someone's freedom away for possesing or using drugs such as marijuana?
Please don't respond with "it's against the law". At one time the law said we could own people and the United States Supreme Court agreed,
