I'm guessing we would have seen more things like in Jaynestown when he is angry at the kid for jumping in front of the bullet, and at the end of Ariel when Mal's about to kill him. Like how he deals with things like that.
Anyway Bramendor OMG it would have been awesome to see his parents, he obviously has a moral center cause he sends a % his salary to them, sort of makes you see Ariel differently when you consider that.
I agree about his moral center. However I think it has been twisted in his childhood and turned into a do whatever it takes to survive philosophy. I.E. Shot your boss in the leg if his competitor offers a better deal. Despite that he wants to be a good guy. When Mal threatens to eject him out of an airlock he says not to let the others know he betrayed them. I think he said that out of Shame of his actions, because he really thought he was going to die.

I think it could have been cery humors with lots of money or sex involved. lol
I think we would have seen an episode where Jayne is reunited with his family while the crew is on a job or something similar. Would have been very interesting to watch. I also agree Ariel was a very important episode in the development of the Jayne character.

Played the video with the acoustic running behind it. The timing seems to work very well with it, amazingly. It's a beautiful vid, with either version, but the acoustic has more impact. especially the fading 'ooo' at the end when Jayne shoves the statue over.
Of all the firefly vid's I've seen, this is by far my fav'. Five stars. I'd found it a month or two ago. I just can't help myself from comin back n' looking at again. I love it.

Played the video with the acoustic running behind it. The timing seems to work very well with it, amazingly. It's a beautiful vid, with either version, but the acoustic has more impact. especially the fading 'ooo' at the end when Jayne shoves the statue over.
