just get a host sequencer program like ableton, cubase, logic - or some cheaper like orion platinum or fruity lops and some virtual instruments. I recommend albino or massive from native instruments.

@C4pitalise albino is incredible on par with my virus in most regards and on top in other...some things that require recursive synthesis on the virus are built into albino it is incredibly versatile and sounds great. The only down side is that initially its a bit quite which gives people the impression that its weak....the virus is exactly the same...im not sure why its like this but once you know how to, you can get incredible sounds out of this thing.

normally you can find the velocity value in the note editor of your sequencer program.

Actually i haven't tried Albino before, i've turned on this video to see how generally creating sounds in it looks like. Of course the final work is great, so i thought that i can play a bit with a dubstep bass (haven't tried any dubstep before) but the tutorial itself is barely visible, i screwed it up from the beggining. I just can't see what you're doing out there ; )

how do you open albino3 in orion? i put the .dll file into the plugins golder but it doesnt show albino under the vst instruments menu!!

if not - you have to mark - rescann plug ins at start up
