  • Lol. I appreciate what this video is trying to obtain, but there are just way to many steps in this guided video. Meditation is suppose to be simple and non-thoughtful...... Here are just a few simple steps

#1: Find a comfortable place to sit were you will not be disturbed.

#2: Simply focus on the breath going in and out of your body.

    Its that simple!

  • @chrishasaclue I agree. There is much in the breath alone.

  • @chrishasaclue

It's that simple, but not that easy.

Our mind always come up with some thought which will make us stand up and run.

Rather that just sit down and focus.

  • @farn1991 I agree, but the less thought and stress you put into it, the better your meditation session will become.

  • @Mrwilwak omg shut up.

  • shes hot, love mixed chicks.

  • lmao she has completely wrong form in breathing...how horrible.. breathing with your chest rising CREATES stress on the body. This isn't even controversial. It's a fact..

  • There are dozens or more specific styles of meditation practice; the word meditation may carry different meanings in different contexts. Meditation has been practiced since antiquity as a component of numerous religious traditions.

Please watch video for some ways or tips on how to do MEDITATION by meditationtips101.

  • she's breathing too fast and too hard.

  • count....count....count...I DONT WANT TO THINK ANYTHING!!

  • may you all attain nirvana. thank you for sharing this __/\__

  • "Step 6 : Reflect on what you want to achieve from this meditation." This statement is clearly not from the buddhist tradition. Buddhist meditation is not about "achieving" but mindfully and equanimously observing what is there, no matter what it is: pain, boredome, fear, anxiety, etc. If you want to achieve something, you may be meditating, but not in the buddhist way.

  • "The main purpose of meditation is to clear your desires" Isn't clearing your desires a desire? Just curious.

  • meditation is to quiet the mind. kind of hard to do if you're trying to remember 12 steps

  • Never you do this breathing mindfulness stuff. It might actually disturbr natural breathing in daily life. Soon you will start without wanting to notice, noticing your breath and being aware of it, which is unnatural. Then the more you try to ignore your breath, the more you remember it.

  • /watch?v=WiDo7Ps9XNk

  • good god...101 steps on how to breath? If your mind starts to wander just try to remember all the steps.

  • thats terrible

  • Based on the commentarial literature in the Pali canon "Buddhist breathing meditation" (P., anapanasati) is far more subtle than what is presented in this video. For over 15 years I have received a lot of flak from Buddhists who are convinced that one is supposed to follow the breathing. Nowhere in the Pali is that idea mentioned. If you go to the Pali-English Dic. the key term for this meditation, "parimukham satim upatthapetum" is translated: "To surround oneself with watchfulness of mind."

  • Buddhist breathing meditation or anapanasati is not about following the breath cycle. It is about being mindfully antecedent to the in and out breath otherwise called parimukhasati. Dark Zen and The Zennist teach this as the Buddha's real meditation.

  • @mujaku this is all myth. The Buddha never used his mind to reach enlightenment. one cannot use the mind to cultivate the mind. in other words one cannot eat and grow one and the same seed. like i said breathing stops minutes before the death of any one including the buddha. so no amount of practice of breathing is of no use when someone dies. so how can one stop rebirth with the practice of breathing? ask yourself not other who are equally ignorant. blind leading the blind. do some re-search.

  • @anurajayatilake The realization of pure Mind is the central teaching of Buddhism. It is critical in Nikaya Buddhism, too (the Pali canon). As for "anapanasati" that one is antecedent to the in and out breath the following is from a Pali commentary:

Anapanasati: by anapane sati is meant “recollection is turned towards [pavatta] the beginning [ârabbha],” the goal [attho] of recollection [sati] being to envelop [pariggâhikâ] in-breathing and out-breathing.

  • @mujaku Do you know that even before Prince Siddhartha was born, there were many who practiced so called "Anapanasathi Meditation" (read the same canon or text you are reading). And according to the same text prince siddartha did this Anapanasathi meditation while still a new born child( at wap / agri-festival). If he new it at so young age, when he is a grown-up why go after many teachers seeking the truth?, if "Anapanasathi leads to the truth/enligtenment.? ask yourself & would you do that?

  • @anurajayatilake First, the Pali Nikayas NEVER mention the name "Siddhartha"; second there is zero evidence that anapanasati was practiced before Gotama the Buddha.

  • @mujaku One is not born as the Buddha but becomes one after. What is The Buddha's childhood what was his name before being the Buddha When he married and had a child too?. if its nt in the text/canon you are reading, then its obvious omission. Did Buddha ever said he practiced Anapanasathi? what he said was that he practiced the middle path. is it not mentined too? Those texts are not writtn by the Buddha himself. One has to always ask intuitive questions until one sees the dhamma by himslf

  • @anurajayatilake Siddhartha is a Sanskrit name. It doesn't appear in the Pali canon. As part of ancient Indian tradition, the words of religious persons were memorized, for example, the Vedas. Only in postmortem Buddhism are Sutras written down—still, to this day, monks in Sri Lanka, for example, memorize Suttas. On several occasions, for example in the Udana, the Buddha gives instruction on anapanasati. There is rather an extensive commentary attached to it as well in the Udana-Atthakatha.

  • @mujaku Postmortem is a POSTMORTEM. Dhamma cannot be memorized but realized and thereafter be a teacher. that is how it was carried forward then. Anapanasathi is something one sees(physically with different faculty of Wisdom eye not the eye made of flesh) when one goes through the path. anapanasathi is not the path or a method to practice. we have ppl who try to memorize what is in a postmortem report but knows nothing of the true intelligence, knowledge or the wisdom of the deceased & nver be

  • @anurajayatilake The term "Dharma" has at least a half dozen different meanings. It can refer to the Buddha's teachings in general or the transcendent. A Buddha is known by his Dharma-kaya or transcendent body, not by his mortal body or rupa-kaya. Nirvana is immortality or amata, in Pali. Bottom line Buddha's don't die. Anapanasati is an excellent meditation for winning nirvana IF done correctly. The entire mortal body is transcended by this practice.

  • @mujaku don't you wana know anything outside of these books/texts and so on written by some unknowns. Most ppl are brainwashed to believe. and do not want to exercise free will and intuition. Good. keep on reading and practicing it for million years. Thr r many more millions who practice(d) it for ages, ask if any1 of thm are enlightned. just ask them to say one single thing of the truth outside of any of the books, heard from someone or theorized/imagined from what is already available. cntd

  • @mujaku do you know Why Buddha's don't die(not physical body as it dies). (these are nver in any book). Bcos they are already dead in ultimate. bcos one has to "go beyond that of death while living" to see the path even for the 1st time. I REPEAT "Anapansathi dies or breathing stops minutes before death" so what happens to any practice of it? BE WISE. "ASK QUESTIONS" SEEK WHEN U CAN. IF one is blind, shall not see the value of a GEM from that of a rock. --- Thanx anywy. Gd luck. over and out.

  • she looks like that guy from sons of anarchy.

  • shit

  • There is no point. Whatsoever in practicing breathing, breathing is what all do from birth to death. Breathing stops minutes before death so whatever you practiced with it is of no use when you die in ultimate truth. Be wise. See and look Around do not accept just bcos it's in the book. Books r written in conceptual language they r not real but concepts by laymen.

  • boodah? and boodism? wtf??? XD

  • through your vagina...guys, i think they use the same footage of her for different types of meditation.

  • through your vagina...

  • Apologies, but this is a lame video. I agree with the top two comments above. For one thing, her breathing is wrong. It's supposed to be low (abdominal). Instead her chest and shoulders rise. Not good!

  • is there a video for how to commit vilence "the buddist way" Ive just finished a great book on its history, remarkable how violent such a "peaceful" religion is!

oh P.S the "statue of Buddha" that guys with the big belly is not buddha, stupid idiots practising things they dont know anything about, because it sounds trendy or new age hahahahhahah mongs

  • is there a video for how to commit vilence "the buddist way" Ive just finished a great book on its history, remarkable how violent such a "peaceful" religion is!

  • @5mdac what book is this?

  • This isn't stupid or idiotic, its just a way for people to get a glimpse of meditation. This is not way to reach any kind of enlightenment or anywhere NEAR what many real Buddhist can achieve.

Nice way to chill after a nights' smoke. Peace!

  • It can't be THAT hard, the people from 1000-3000 years ago meditated, how do you suppose that they figured out the meditation ways?

  • wrong posture, wrong breathing, wrong mindfulness, wrong eyes posture (they should be OPEN), wrong spirit...

  • this is NOT buddhist meditation LOL

  • Thanks for the video post. MINDFULNESS, AWARENESS, BREATHING TECHNIQUES meditation great help for mental health! THANKS!

  • Step 14 is the most important.

  • I'm afraid they got this quite wrong. The major things: Your eyes should never be closed, but instead sort of half-open. Your knees should never be higher than your butt. And her chin was up too high, it should be tucked in a little closer to your chest.

  • Thanks a lot..

  • Forget Buddhism and meditation. I get little sad every time I go online and see people like donniegerrad or ainanor. You just know war will never go away in this world as long as people like these exist.

  • @donniegerrard yes...maybe...in ones perspective....but you my friend...are an ignorant fuck. peace be in your life.

  • NEEDS MORE COWBELL...

  • Buddha said the best meditation is the Quan Yin method ( Inner Light and Inner Sound ) but you will need to search for a true master and be veg .

  • Buddhist Breathing Meditation??? EXCUSE ME?? Since when does the breath belong to Buddhism or to any religion?? This video is a huge misrepresentation of buddhism.

  • this is just relaxing meditation not buddist mediation. When buddist meditate they dont think about anything, and only begainners meditate with eyes close, most buddist meditate with eyes slightly open, just look at the buddha statue. For some ppl they put their touge touching their top part of the inner mouth this helps to easier connect the ren and du mai. The main purpose of meditation is to clear your desires, so if you think about something it defeats the purpose.

  • @k6996 Wow! Thanks for the advice! It really does help me now realise and now I hardly think of anything when I meditate! I know, I am a bit young but I need it! I hope we can talk again!!

  • @k6996 There are so many variations to say one is correct and the other is not;it's almost impossible. In fact, Buddha himself acknowledged the existence of variations that lead to same goal - nirvana. Personally, I prefer Vipassana and I learned several different techniques of it in Myanmar. With Vipassana, opening your eyes no matter how slight they are, is huge distraction because you are suppose to observe your body with mind not eyes. Cont..

  • @k6996 Regardless of whether you are paying attention to what you are seeing. you are still seeing. You can either observe your mind(yes with mind. It's possible. Ever wonder sometimes why you can't stop thinking what you don't want to think?) or observe your body process like breathing (No you don't need to say in you mind like breathing-in, breathing-out. Just observe.) or observe your belly movement from breathing process(Observe it's inflation and deflation).

  • @k6996 Of course, there are other meditation techniques that you are required to open you eyes. Such as Kathine(it's a pali word. I'm not sure if I'm spelling it correctly in English though). This technique is about focusing your mind on particular object or essence of that object(say color). For example, one technique is to meditate on candle light, another one is on color like white/gold etc. But I've never tried those techniques myself. So I can't comment on their effectiveness.

  • i don't understand people out of thier minds worshiping objects!

  • Actually, the breathing practise in meditation is a neccessary basic training for you to have a good focusing.

  • *scratch head*

    mhmm...... okay O.o

  • You don't need any of this? All I do is sit down turn everything off and zone out

  • Hey I think this is great. Whose to say this isn't skillful means? If IKEA catalogue style is your language then that's where you're at - start there.

  • Good lord! Who made this silly video? Well, I guess it's better than nothing. Man, is she breathing hard. Step 345......

  • You white people learn eastern tradition and screw it up. You only know a little and you talk like you know everything. Shut the fuck up and go to your bar/ pub.

  • @TheWhiteBuster

Poster boy for an active eugenics program.

  • Very clear well paced summary of a great meditation practice.

  • I won't lie. I'd do her.

  • @crittoprrr Me too, if she let me to.

  • @DudeNumberOnePlus I want to motorboat her shakras.

  • Why the concept of Karma & Rebirth is the logical & right choice. Your child misbehaves - do you 1) Simply forgive him or 2) Give him a Beating? How about option 3) TEACH him Right from Wrong! That's Karma & Rebirth - God's Non-Violent way of steering us onto the right path. You can’t simply beg & grovel & get away with it, nor are u physically violated & abused. The Goal of a Hindu is not a seedy flesh-pot heaven but Moksha - Knowledge, with God as our Guru.

  • @M335 lol sounds like you do need some meditation

  • They made this more complicated than the D-Day invasion.

  • You don't need all the junk she has in the room you do need to sit properly, which she isn't. Awful advice. Go to a class or at least buy a good book on the subject; eg Change Your Mind by Paramananda. Other books are available, see Amazon and read the reviews.

  • this Woman, this whole Channel didn't know anything about they made Videos....

  • Abrahamic religions for the weak, cowardly & lazy. Don't worry about what u do in life, just make sure u repent, beg & grovel like crazy! The pleased king will put u up in a 5 star hotel for eternity! No wonder christians can't wait to die. NOT!

Moksha is EARNED, never begged for nor given. Heaven & Hell are right here on Earth, we make them happen thru our efforts, not God. Hinduism, Buddhism are religions for the Strong, Brave & active

  • @ramaraksha01 Apparently you missed the part about respect for others.

  • @dalecraw U can't make an omelet without cracking an egg. Stop being so sensitive. Even the Buddha disagreed with some Hindu concepts - would u say the same to him? Stop censoring people - it is ideas that improve the world - u can learn a lot from ideas that u disagree with - makes u think.

  • u should praise and sing to jesus christ!

  • @PATMAN24isITACHI sure pat.. no1 is telling anyone who wants to meditate to follow buddhism...

  • I have a rule that I live by: whenever someone teaches you to breathe, turn around and run the other way.

  • I have a rule that I live by: whenever someone teaches you to breathe, turn around and run the other way.

  • so HOW-TO-, almost impersonal...takes away from the actual direction of meditation...which is to be natural.

  • @jessy1125 very very true!!!!

  • utube> /watch?v=mjJgmeWBG1s Let you see this. You do very well.and If you have more 3 steps.[real breath med. of Lord Buddha] You will be the best.

    Good luck

    Win

  • I like meditation but this video just makes me want to go to an IKEA store.

  • Totally agreed

  • @scribb7 see this utube> /watch?v=mjJgmeWBG1s

  • @scribb7 LOL! I hear ya'! This music and the woman's voice is irritative, too.

  • @scribb7

    roflmao XD

  • @scribb7 right! :)))

  • @scribb7

    LOL

  • @scribb7 true.... true..... LOL

  • @scribb7 OMG you´re so right ! xDDD

  • @scribb7 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicely played!!!!

  • @scribb7 whats an IKEA store?

  • Actually, this is one of the most inaccurate representations of Buddhist meditation I've come across. If one of my students sat like the person in the video, all they'd get is pain from improper posture and incorrect breathing. Attend a genuine Buddhist meditation class and see for yourself perhaps before putting something like this up next time.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD I have just recently learned about Buddhism and I want to convert, It makes a lot of sense to me. I have actually believed in many of the key principles and beliefs for a few years now without knowing about it. I am wondering if you can tell me, is there any certain thing I should do to convert? I want to learn meditation but I do not know where to look.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD

Rather snarky for a high consciousness Buddhist.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD You are right. But this girl is just a model. Look at her face and the way she is breathing and you can see that she does not have any practice.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD Mind telling me what is wrong or how I make it most accurate? I just started meditating at home some weeks ago but it's really already helpful even though I make it different than the video tells me.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD ive been a buddhist for 2 years and have been practicing buddhist meditation for 6 and yes it is very inaccurate this is just idiotic they should delete it

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD Hi you seem to know something about this so i have a question, i tore my miniscus in my right knee (disc-like muscle) mand whenever i cross my legs my right knee gets stuck and i have to pop it back into place. This is a very arduous and painful motion, so i was wondering if there was another way in which to sit? Thankyou.

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD How about you make a clearer video? Talk is kinda cheap you know :)

  • @JonathanEllerbyPhD Dear Sir, you are right.

Please May everyone listen to Thanissaro Bhikkhu's Talks at Dhammatalks. You will learn everything from scratch to achieving the highest peace that unconditioned. May you be well

  • aloozer

The intention is very important. In eightfold path - The second path is "right thought or right intention"

  • yep. perfect example of your book knowledge.

  • May be you should learn about the 121 consciousness in Abhidhamma and meditate base on Satipatana sutta

  • Buddha said that even good thing like dhamma we have to let it go after crossing over.

Keep it simple and you'll arrive. Sorry to say that people who see the fault in others like the other person did, will never arrive

  • really? and how about the person doing the judgement on someone else saying that you're simplistic? in other words, yourself. lol. people have perception of you, you have perception of someone. it doesn't make you any different. you have to let go.

  • aloozer

You have to realise the truth not to base on heresay or book knowledge.

Tp point out someone mistake out of goodwill is one thing. That's regarded as wholesome kamma

To hit back at someone or tell someone off and ridicule someone is regarded as unwholesome kamma

Buddhism is profound. Like the Buddha said. it's easy for a 3 year old to understand but it's hard for a 80 year old to practice

  • hearsay and book knowledge. look who's talking lol. that was exactly what the other person was pointing out to you lol.

btw, to hit back or ridicule someone is not unwholesome if it does the other person good even though it may bring hurt or harm to any party. this was in 1 of the suttas :)

  • i find that when i'm in the initial stage of my meditation, my inhalation is slow and broken up into divisions like 1 in..2 in..3 in.. then exhale but the exhalation is just 1 fast forceful exhalation. is anything wrong here?

  • @aloozer in all the texts that I have taken instruction from it invariably instructs one to refrain from influencing ones breath. It's only natural to sometimes come to the meditation with the breath at a higher than resting position.

I always find that my breath finds its own settling after a while, and I do not bother it.

i don't want to cast negative views about this clip, but I suggest that you watch many more, and even buy a small book on Buddhism. they are invaluable in offering guidance

  • i've read enough books on buddhism. the 4 Noble Truths, the 3 Characteristics of Existence, Satipatthana Sutta, Anapanasati Sutta, the 3 main traditions(theravada, mahayana, vajrayana of which Tibetan buddhism is a part of) etc. those are the stuff that i've read, but my initial question pertains to meditation guidance. as far as i understand it, meditation is supposed to be simple. the technique is simple, there should be nothing to be contrived and just let be. but i do still need instruction.

  • @aloozer Let you see this. You do very well.and If you have more 3 steps.[real breath med. of Lord Buddha] You will be the best.

    utube> /watch?v=mjJgmeWBG1s

    Good luck

    Win

  • so i think that a better way would be to find a competent teacher who is able to offer proper guidance when it comes to buddhist meditation. furthermore, we can't simple read off words off a book or an online instruction when it comes to getting the correct posture for meditation. which reinforces why i mentioned about the need for a person him/herself to offer instruction.

  • aloozer

There's nothing wrong with that breathing. Meditation is hard to master. You need proper guidance and many yaers to master.

One has to keep 5 precepts when practising meditation so that the mind does not wander off:

    1) Abstain from Killing Living Beings

    2) Abstain from Stealing

    3) Abstain from Sexual Misconduct

    4) Abstain from Lying

    5) Absatin from Intoxicating Drinks and drugs

  • I see, about the 5 precepts. But is adhering to the 5 precepts the reason for progressive meditation? Is it the reason why in meditation, that our minds wander off? :)

  • It's important to keep the 5 precepts so that we have peace of mind. When our mind is peaceful, our mind can concentrate well and will not wander off.

There's a lot of benefits of keeping the 5 precepts. Try it and you'll know what I mean.

  • perhaps. but only, perhaps. like what the other person said, your understanding of dhamma(dharma) may be a bit simplistic, but keep going. i can see that you're devoted to it.

  • If you keep the 5 precepts, that's the protection. Even gods and human will guide us and help us to see the way. The evil ones are not able to harm us.

My first dhamma teacher made us recite the 5 precepts for 1 year. I thought she was a little crazy. After learning meditation with various teachers for many years, I started to realise the advantage of it. It's better than power of god.

  • lol. you've got to get over just by doing what someone tells you, to go further into investigation of your own.

  • Meditate base on Satipatana Sutta and Anapanasati Sutta. Buddha gave all the instructions clearly in these suttas

Read Tipitaka (3 baskets). It's also known as Pali Canon. It's the original teaching of the Buddha.

  • I'm pretty sure that the Buddha didn't have a music track playing in the background when he was meditating. The same should apply to you. Do without any sounds in the background such as music as this can be distracting. In fact use ear plugs to keep your sounds only to the ones your own body makes.

  • Anyone seen this healing?

    /watch?v=o4qbnRM5csI&feature=related

  • Did you know, Buddha himself did not believe in the existence of God ?

  • @Nuakchot

"This God" or any particular God?

  • he belived in the many gods as he was raised a hindu

  • @atfatw no he rejected hinduism seeing the suffering in the world and went on a journey to find what ppl were suffering froma nd created the noble eightfold path and other buddhist teachings to show people that they can be the ones to create happiness in their lives. he may have been raised hindu by his parents but he didnt believe in it.

  • @Nuakchot it's not that he did not believe, it's that he simply did not give the existence of God the reason for our personal happiness. God may or may not exhist, but Buddha found that happiness is only given to us...bu us, not by a ghostly magical spirit.

  • The Buddha took a well known position that exists today. It is called Agnostic Atheism. Richard Dawkins puts it to be that he is 99.999999 etc percent sure that there is no God, but it'd be unscientific to say that he was 100 percent certain because we cannot explore every part of the universe. The same could be said for Santa Claus. We cannot disprove his existence. Thus the Buddha said there is no god, but even if there was, there is no way of knowing it.

  • I explain God to reductionists as that whole which is greater than the sum of us parts, including all & everything. Call that pantheism, if you want. Who the hell is Richard Dawkins?

  • Richard Dawkins is a famous atheist. Also, you using the term god is pointless. The Buddha said that there is no God, but if there is one, there is no way of knowing. Stop trying to plug supernatural nonsense into the Dharma like people have done for over 2,000 years now. Their adding to it has done no justice. Plain and simple, we need to be able to observe the things which we cite as truth. Not make them up because they make us feel comfortable.

  • step 14 "return gently to your life in the outside world"

    Lol

  • This is a very good meditation video for beginners.

  • A Buddhist walked up to a hotdog stand and asked the vendor to make him one with everything.

  • When the Buddhist asked for change the vendor old him 'Change comes from within'

  • hee hee hee hee !!!

  • this is retarded this has got to be the most watered down suburban meditation i've ever seen in my life

  • Soft earplugs greatest tool for me and with eyes closed.

  • Try Zazen..... sitting facing a wall for 6 hours a day.....

  • try not being ignorant and understanding the art of concentration.

  • to much steps

  • whats with the commercial?

  • pklama1's word are the truth!

  • Thank you Kamekamekamekameka. You are a Humble being. Much knowledge and wisdom to you. Om Shanti.

  • Hahha. So many rules. Do this, do that. you need this, you need that. Samasaric spiritual time frame? May be for the beginners but none of these things are necessary for one to meditate. One can simply sit on the rock and be aware of it. The simple the better. Too much clinging to all these material things just defeats the purpose of one's spiritual quest. NO hard feeling. May all find this video as a sample not as a rule. Good luck. Om Namo Bhagavate Basudevaye Namah. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

  • om namo namo nama bu kaka hare krishna ama ting tong walla ding dong shanti shanti panty. . . amen

  • Disagreement with right intentions is right view. But if not much taints.

  • @pklama1 um this may be a dumb or ignorant qustion but i have been researching buddhism for a while and as much a s i consider my self a buddhist could you help get "into" this? i mean i just cannot find a good starting point. i love the teachings and benefits of all of siddarth guatamas teachings so i dont want to go into this haphazardly and ruining it for myself.

  • @pklama I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW GLAD I AM TO READ THIS COMMENT... PLZZZ MAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO GET 'INTO" THIS.. HEHEHEHE..

WELL I HAVE DONE THIS AND IT BENIFICIAL....

AND IM SO GLAD THAT YOU AWARE THAT YOU COULD RUIN IT FOR YOURSELF UNLESS YR UNDER SUPERVISION..... PLZ PLZ PLZ.....I'D BE GLAD TO HELP..

  • cross legs and cross arms then you are in a right position, close your eyes and think nothing... think about your breath and after that think nothing ;)

smoke 1 blunt be4 and do it on a bed lol good night ;)

  • if you really wanna know the best way, learn off an indian.

    they invented it.

  • these instructions are not correct - particulalrly that the lady is breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth -concentration is at the nostril and breathing is only through the nose

  • ya i noticed that too, good lookin out

  • i almost fell asleep the first time...lol

  • I know this already!

  • Relaxation berating is done from the lower abdomen and not from the upper part of the chest. Breathing from the upper part of the chest happens when a person is under stress.

  • how do you breath from the abdomen?

  • abdonimal breathing, instead of using the upper chest to inflate ur lungs....u get max intake of oxygen, with deeper breath intake.

  • peaples negativity towards a positive clip, its so comical!!!! humanity at its finest!!!ahhh haaha!! i love you all!!!!^v^

  • This is just one technique of meditation. The woman in the vid is breathing a little too deep for my liking. I take short easy breaths and it works fine. I don't understand what all the religofiles are bitching about. Just concentrate on your breathing you insecure dimwits. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
