  • This host is stupid. I can see why he works for Fox News.

  • Dan Barker is awesome. He came to my school, University of Waterloo, to do a talk about how to be good without God last night. He's a really smart guy and entertaining to listen to.

  • A "national day of spirituality" would be inclusive to people of all beliefs and would achieve as much as a "national day of prayer".

  • I now love Dan Barker

  • Dan is the man!

  • to be fair, he did get plenty of time.. usually atheists get cut off within seconds on fox news

  • The nameless journalist tried his best to emulate his hero Sean Hannity. I will give him that.

  • @jurvis1 LOL! Was that a journalist? Dan was great, as usual!

  • "whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness."

    Proclamation of National Thanksgiving

    George Washington

City of New York, October 3, 1789

  • Nicely done Mr. Barker... ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • whats so hard to understand christians?

  • Dan Barker destroyed that young man.

  • I'm a little surprised the host allowed Dan to speak as they usually try to talk over atheists. Dan presented his side very well too.

  • I spoke to Dan Barker in Ireland last year. He is as awesome as he appears here!

  • Hail Zeus !

  • And what a great Atheist nation it is. That of America.

  • Don't trust ANYONE who doesn't have a problem with something that is unfair as long as it's unfair in their favor.

  • 20 people standing on their heads praying to mother goose were offended by that comment.

  • killa

  • "If the government is not blowing their trumpet" That is the full truth of the matter.

  • Dan completely destroyed all possible arguments eloquently and non-offensively. Brilliant.

  • This is the first time I've felt sorry for a Fox News host. I think he is not happy about what he is being told to say from his notes, nor indeed knows anything about what he is saying, and rightly has his arse handed to him as a result. Good work Mr. Barker!

  • i like the questions the reporters asks, gives a chance for the smart guy on the right to answer all of them

  • What does reality have to do with them praying?

  • Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States

  • hahaha you can see it in that stupid fox news guy's face at the end that he was royally pissed off.

  • Dan Barker kicked butt! I'm reading Losing Faith in Faith now. It's not the best book on freethinking I've read (actually, I tend to like Demon-Haunted World and Atheist Universe), but it still has a lot of good material.

  • Lol. The guy didn't even know that what he was reading was actually the Declaration of Independence...NOT the Constitution. LMAO. That is Christianity in a nutshell. Just say whatever because it sounds nice and has a pretty ring to it. Never bother to check and see if your telling the truth. HAH

  • Wow. This is the most civil discussion between a fox reporter and an atheist I've ever seen. Aside from the negative and misleading banners at the bottom it was well discussed and generally stayed on point. Also, when the reporter got trampled by rationality he didn't get all angry and self righteous. Bravo to the both of them.

  • If my god needs me to pray for him before he can intervene and save lives.. then keep him. I don't want him. And if he wants to send me to hell? I'd walk in gladly.... trembling, but gladly.

May he fall.. the god who chooses to ignore all prayers.

  • "God" bless USA...and every other country in the world... If you can't pray to that, you don't belong in your so called heaven.

  • Wow Dan Barker just DESTROYED this asshole. Mauled over him and buried him right where he sat.

Bravo Mr Barker. Brave of you to trust Fox News wouldn't literally draw red horns on you.

  • Fundalmentalist theists hate America and are not patriotic.

Or they would not be trying to change it.

  • That guy was brilliant. Stupid fucking reporter, he's barely hit puberty, no wonder he ended up looking like an idiot.

  • Dan rocked that!

  • Why is it that this man hasn't brought any case against Barak Obama for letting 50,000 Muslims pray on the white house property? That is also national land, not private property, so shouldn't he go against that or is he scared of Muzzies and only wants to attack what Jews and Christians do? Seems so...Dan Barker is a COWARD!

What about the money which says,"In God We Trust"and the court swearing to tell the truth on the bible. Dan is a moron and should shut up and let everyone pray!

  • @abbienetvision

Wake up the money only got in God we trust as a reaction to the cold war and fear of communists.

Swearing on the bible, like that made everyone tell the truth. How many clergie and bible thumpers have lied on the stand. Ironically the bible says you shall NOT swear by anything in heaven or on earth. So by its own hand it should be removed.

People believed all sorts of crap in the past, time to grow up and dump the myths, take responsibility and end the hate mongering.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 Dont pray in my school and I wont think in your church.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 Sorry, I kinda like the old shit. I'm an athiest conservative, the bible is a laugh but, I wanna see them win inspite of all the facts. I find it funny that you go out of your way to ignore Jews and Muslims while attacking Christians. You attack people who turn the other cheek and then shit yourself when you come accross a group that will fight back. Your nothing but a coward, wanna know why your a coward? Ask me faggot., I'll tell you along with a bullet to go in your head!

  • @bryanjones007

Pathetic and obviously ill informed, not to mention brave on a keyboard.

However from what I'm told you are simply deranged and to ignor you.

Some mention of a date with your sister and a house on wheels.

Better save that bullet you may need it yourself.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 Nothing like an athiest Republican, thats me! I want to send you and people like you to the showers (gas chambers). If there is money involved I see no point in fucking around. I want money, Newt will peel your beginnings raw. Newt will take away everything you have. Newt will make you pay everyday for being the fag that you are.. Jesus doesn't hate fags but I do, God bless America.

  • One thing these people never seem to get is that it DOESN'T MATTER how long the damn prayerapalooza has been going on; it's wrong, and was always wrong. They always seem to use this lame argument wherever they can.

  • Well This country was founded on Religious Freedom. I am a born-again Christian but I also don't believe in forcing religion on anyone and this is discriminatory towards those who do not believe. America is great because our government is a-religious. It doesn't promote religion or atheism (at least on paper). Having prayer in a national public forum is unconstitutional and also it goes against the Sermon on the mount if you ask me

  • @bluesboy25000

Can Muslims use the white house lawn to pray? Is that alright? Why does the money say "God"? The fact is that the founding fathers were bible thumpers who were very fearful of the Lord and believed in the word of G-d

  • @abbienetvision If it's someone privately worshipping I have no problem with that but if it is a National call to prayer, then I would have a problem just like how I am concerned about national Christian Prayer. Our money says "In God We Trust" because it was put on coins during the Civil War. It is on paper money money in response to the Soviet Union's Atheist State policy to serve as a foil.

  • @bluesboy25000

So can 50,000 Muslims all gather on the white house lawn to pray? Is it ok with you?

Since the money say God and we swear to God in a court of law, with our hand on the bible, it should be clear that we are not an atheist nation, were not built on atheist principles, but very religious Christians who belong to the Church of England (Quakers&Pilgrims)

The founding fathers were God fearing people who wanted us to pray. And like you say,In God We Trust was added to show non-atheism

  • @abbienetvision I have a problem with any person using government property to have an expose on religion. Again, in God we Trust was not put on until the Civil War as a way of looking morally superior. "So Help me God" as part of the Oath of office is not in the Constitution but was rather a personal utterance from George Washington. Jews can use the Talmud to swear, and Muslims can use the Quran to take an oath or they don't need to use anything.

  • @bluesboy25000

The Pledge of Allegience also uses the word "God" which was added by Eisenhower. The civil war addition of God had nothing to do with superiority, that is just incorrect. In a court, what should an atheist use to swear to tell the truth? There is no way to separate God from USA. The 2nd pres, Adam, first said "God save our states" when they signed the Declaration of Independence v=-7Y1ougODMo

The facts are not as most Americans believe, USA was founded on Judeo/Christian ideas

  • @abbienetvision I'll concede the Civil War point about superiority. Like you said though, under God was added by Eisenhower during the Cold War. Adams was also a Unitarian, which is considered Heresy by many Christians. Adams said GOD save our states. Notice: God not Jesus.

  • @bluesboy25000

Did you write, " Adams said GOD save our states. Notice: God not Jesus."

True and the money says also In God We Trust, since USA was built on Judeo /Christian values. I never said anything about Jesus, I am Jewish, FYI. But to think that USA is a totally atheist country or has completely separation from God, like ending prayer day, is to just not know history well enough.

The idea of God in USA is very strong and presidents know that we want God to bless the USA!

  • @abbienetvision The hell we do!! The USA was not founded on "judeo/christian" values. Look up the Treaty of Tripoli you fool. In god we trust was not put on our money until the 1950's in response to communist Russia and The Cold War. The ones always talking about " god" are always the most ignorant about their own religion.

  • @richwfd2002

Seems that you didn't go to history class. If you had bothered to get there, you would have learnt about the Pilgrims who were very religious people, feared God, but rejected the teaching of the Church of England. Rather than watch MTV and think that you can learn with music vids, try opening a book!

The 2nd president, Adams was the first to say "GOD SAVE OUR STATES"

Tripoli is where the Muslims killed Americans and showed their hatred. Judeo/christian values!! You are a Moron

  • @abbienetvision Did you honestly just say "learnt"? Ha Ha Ha!!! What an ignoramus you are. "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.... " This quote is from the Treaty of Tripoli submitted to the senate and signed by John Adams and George Washington, both "founding fathers". It also had unanimous congressional approval. You should take your own advice you illiterate fuckbag. Franklin and Jefferson were also deists, ass.

  • @richwfd2002

Stupid...it says "not founded on the Christian religion" which does not mean that is not based and not founded on Judea/Christian values. You are a moron, who cannot read and comprehend. Did you drop out soon after 4th grade? You are almost too moronic to be believed, but since MTV is your only schooling, I get it!

Since you do not understand the simple word "values" do not write to me again, you are just an ignoramus not worth even one second of my time!

  • @abbienetvision Semantics, emotional appeal and redundant, baseless arguments are all you have. You "christians" know nothing of values...........

  • @richwfd2002

You ignorant fool...I am not a Xtian!!!

Go back to elementary school instead of showing your stupidity publicly here. Are you a BK dropout also? You are 46 and haven't learnt even the simplest history in all those years...shame on you.

  • @abbienetvision Then why defend it, liar? "learnt" is not a word. Anyway, troll, go take some grammar classes before you hypocritically call someone else a fool and stupid. Anyone reading this will realize that you are extremely dumb and immature. Why respond back if I'm not worth "a second of your time."? Don't bother responding. I will neither read nor respond back.

  • @richwfd2002

learntpast participle, past tense of learn (Verb)

    Verb:

Gain or acquire knowledge of or skill in (something) by study, experience, or being taught.

    Commit to memory.

Wow..are you stupid!! Couldn't even check an online dictionary!!!

BTW, I am an English teacher!!!

  • @abbienetvision

50,000 muslims face down and 50,000 christians face up. It would not be OK. Stupid maybe.

The few religious bits were brought in to combat the fear of communism another absolute aurthority belief system where no question is allowed and obedience exspected. (stalin did go to seminary for 3 years)

The first settlers mst of whom died in the first 2 years are not all that came. Nor did they create the Republic.

Get your head out of the sand.

  • @abbienetvision

As for the bible in court, thats worked a treat how many people have lied in court and no one knew, none were struck by lightning. In anycase in the bible is says " you shall not swear on anything in heven or on earth, so where does that leave you, condemmed to hell I suppose. Or is it cherry picking again ignor the bits you don't like.

Yet no theist has shown me where it says you can pick the bits you like ignor the rest or pretend it means something else, say its a mystery

  • @abbienetvision

What nonsence go read the documents and thoughts of the founding fathers not what some fundi retard is telling you.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09

You are just another uneducated fool. Look up THE GREAT SEAL OF THE USA, which was accepted by the FOUNDING FATHERS Aug, 1776, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson &John Adams designed it. Franklin's proposal adapted the biblical story of the parting of the Red Sea; Jefferson recommended the "Children of Israel in the Wilderness.."

Sept 1774 Reverend Jacob Duché (1738-1798), rector of Christ Church, Philadelphia, opened the 1st congress WITH PRAYER. PLEASE LEARN FACTS!

  • Good job Dan, way to catch the Fox, hacked, bs news cycle. They are such dolts.

  • Good job Dan, way to catch the Fox, hacked, bs news cycle. They are such dolts.

  • What's going to happen after we die? Watch "GOD'S PRISON" and find out. It's worth the time considering the eternal stake.

***See the video before you comment***

  • I will hate to see this nation as a Godless one! Everyone going wild doing what they want! Nobody being safe! People walking up to each other killing, stealing, sexing anything, cheating, and getting off free! We have to admit, a fear of God started a judicial system!

  • Fox three times made a mistake by calling the organization freedom FOR religion, not freedom FROM religion foundation. The news anchor corrected it only at the end. I wonder if it was intentional. Why would freedom FOR religion foundation object to national day of prayer, after all? It is typical of fox news bias.

  • Woo Hoooo. Dan Barker!!!

  • @ufjazzman97 Have you read Barkers excellent book 'Godless'? Try also the excellent, ' The reason driven life' by Robert M Price who is also an expert in higher criticism of the Bible p77 he recommends, "Think of individual Bible, Stoic, Buddhist, & so forth, insights as delicious fruits on various trees in an orchard. You don't have to swallow the whole darned tree to eat the fruit. Nor is anything stopping you from picking from several of the trees". see also John W Loftus & Victor Stenger

  • @zytigon

I haven't read it yet but know about it. In what little free time I have now, I'm reading Hitchens' "God is Not Great"; very enjoyable. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • Majority of the founding fathers were not Christian, anyway. Our laws have to cover everyone. Nice job Barker

  • Dan Barker is far too intelligent to waste his time with this Fox News muppet.

  • I used to thought that Fox news = False news... glad that it's not (for once)

  • wow...I bet that reporter went back to desk duty afterwards. Dan must have thought all his Christmases had come at once. ermm... so to speak.

  • America as such a great constituition because its the only one in the world that as complete seperation of church and state ,freedom of religion and freedom FROM religion .Jefferson ,Franklin,Washington, none of the founding fathers were christians but deists ,agnostics and atheists. Don't let the fundalmentalist theists destroy it ,fight against them.

  • @vashna3799 the only one?

  • @vashna3799 Yet it has the highest number of religiosity in the western world. Talk about irony!

  • @vashna3799 Thats not correct, mexican constitution has a complete separation of church and state

  • @vashna3799

Cred for bringing awareness to this.

  • Dan Barker, voice of reason, courageous voice of compassion....thank you.

  • The 3:42 complete photo overlay for nearly 10s is just another bias of Fox News.

(Half of communication is body language.)

  • @hpholland I agree that Fox News is biased, but you are really grasping at straws here. Almost every network occasionally puts up graphics or shows clips while their guests are talking.

  • FOX NEWS = F-A-I-L-E-D

    ...another bias news coverage

  • Dan really is the man, American christians be careful what you wish for, if you move closer to a christianity youll find the Vatican and the peado masses in your corridors of power...

  • shut your stank butt, Barker

  • 5:16 LIKE A BOSS

  • Supreme Court - great branch? or greatest branch?

  • cool, fox lost this one.

  • Dan kicked that douche's stupid face in. How about he get back to the frat party and leave the intelligent discussion to intelligent people?

And I just finished reading "Godless" today. It's a great read. I prefer it to Dawkins as he is less hostile against religion and lets the biblical texts do the work for him.

  • Yeah nice work Dan bringing some common sense to America.

  • ...wai....wha!...I...Did a fox news anchor just behave politely and rationally...okay guys we were wrong looks like the world really is coming to an end ;)

  • Ha, Fox has been educated! They just choose ignorance and superstition, then call it news.

  • @QuestionForAtheists That's life!

  • Nice work Dan,

As docile and correct as always.

  • the fox got owned..

  • someone just sent me this link, I think Dan did very well explaining and knowing his material. I would just like to how many folks out there took offense to what he said, and then I would like them to "LISTEN" to what he said, he is spot on.

  • Wow Dan knows his stuff and its a breath of fresh air, Dan giving him the facts and correcting the presenter :). Clear and concise for the masses who don't really understand who declared what and did what when regarding the establishment of the USA.. GOGO Dan! :)

  • Most of the reporters on Fox are this retarded. That's why it's always funny and sad at the same time to see interviews with enlightened people, like in this case: Dan Barker.

  • im reading his book, just bought it

  • Fuck Fox "News"

  • That reporter must be new -- his Fox Fu is weak -- he let someone finish a valid point multiple times and even agreed when corrected . . .

  • @UberLogic yea he is no Bill O'Reilly

  • @UberLogic hahahhahahahhaaahahaahahah

  • @UberLogic EXACTLY.

  • @UberLogic He also didn't raise his voice and get angry simply because he didn't agree, he needs to catch up on some O'Reilly factor.

  • @UberLogic OMG! HAHA I was totally just thinking the same thing!!! haha

  • @UberLogic Awesome - valid points.

  • Barker has an incredibly high IQ. (Seriously, he's in the Prometheus Society, check Wikipedia). You can tell just by hearing him speak so clearly and brilliantly. No wonder he was such a charismatic preacher. The interviewer can't even be compared to Barker's intellect.

  • Right wingers secretly hate the constitution, and it greatly inhibits their agenda. Tough luck Nazis.

  • those who are just indignantly angry about this, and not understanding why it's not fair to the rest of America.

  • Totally p'wned!!! I love how he spoke clearly and I love how the fox guy actually let him get his words out, instead of talking over him as most fox correspondents do. Of course the government shouldn't make a law respecting one religion, and of course we're not saying christians can get together and pray! Just having the government making a law respecting that one religion is unconstitutional, and religious people can't seem to understand that. Maybe Dan spelled it out a little better for

  • FOX seems to be falling back on this argument that we're a Judeo-Christian nation almost every time, which has to be refuted EVERY time by their atheist guests, no matter how many times they've done it before. The founders were very specific in keeping government secular. That should be the end of the argument. Even if we DID care what their individual religious beliefs were, which we shouldn't, they weren't even all Christian. Many of the founders were deists, which is VERY different.

  • Oh no, they're kicking god out of our politics, boo effing hoo! On serious note, day of prayer is not and never was necessary. I wonder how Mr. Barker ever survive being on Fux News?

  • OWNED! I LOVE it when that happens.

  • @SuperSam424 No, the bible is not different. In fact, as I mentioned, it is the same. It's the same because it "borrows" from other texts. There is nothing original in the bible, other than the names of the characters.

And sure, maybe Mohammad is a pedo, but I recall a verse in the bible where jesus spent the night alone with a young boy. That could be interpreted the same way, can it not?

The supernatural is not real. Neither is god. Jesus was a carpenter, now get on with your life.

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperSam424 No, the bible really isn't different. It's "borrowed" stories from earlier writings and religions mixed with some original ideas attached to old ideas. The bible was not the first to talk about a world flood. It was not the first to talk about the 6 day creation. Not the first to mention anything other than the characters. Mohammad might have been a pedo, but there is a story in the new test where jesus spent the night with a young boy. That could be interpreted the same.

  • I dont get it, this constitution you have... is that the only thing that prevents USA to become a huge christian sect, or what? Its a bit scary I must say.

  • You know what atheists?? You're right! You feel left out when we all pray TO GOD. So good thing you stopped us praying TO GOD. OH WAIT GOD EXISTS AND NOW HE IS RECIEVING LESS PRAYERS BECAUSE OF YOUR PATHETIC OPINIONS. PRAYER IS SO POWERFUL AND YOU STOP IT BECAUSE YOU PROCLAIM "FREEDOM" OF THE IDIOTS?? FUCKING A.

  • @SuperSam424 "PRAYER IS SO POWERFUL AND YOU STOP IT..."

    Try and understand the issue.

Atheists will do everything possible to guarantee you the rights to pray, for all I know the majority of atheists are pluralists, you have the freedom as everyone else.

Atheist will do everything possible to stop the government endorsing a national Ramadan (Islamic month of fasting) in the future, but will do everything to give Muslims the freedom to practice Ramadan.

  • @saintpine False. Atheists CAN'T DO anything. There are atheists and there is an "atheist agenda" which is directly FROM THE GOV. The two are NOT LINKED no matter how much they appear to be. This agenda is to get RID of CHRISTIANITY because it is the truth and the GOV knows this FACT. Obama is Muslim. He does not hide it. Our GOV runs off an ISLAMIC IDEOLODGY. Islam is the EXACT opposite of CHRISTIANITY. There is no fucking ISSUE. WE ALL MUST BELIEVE AND PRAY TO GOD. HE OBVIOUSLY EXISTS.

  • @SuperSam424 "WE ALL MUST BELIEVE AND PRAY TO GOD. HE OBVIOUSLY EXISTS."

How pathetic, you still have time to grow up and hopefully get yourself a serious education in the meanwhile.

  • @saintpine Right. Empty words are useless.

  • @SuperSam424

Islam is based upon christianity and judaism, it is a abramhamic belief system. Muslims believe in jesus christ and they believe he was a prophet, they simply think muhammed was the latest incarnation. Obama is not a muslim he says he is christian, i suspect in private however he is actually atheist. I assume this because he is an intelligent man and no intelligent man believes in a deity he can not even define.

You can not define what your god is, that makes you dumb ...

  • @srspower God is eternal. That's what God IS. Second off Islam is actually NOT based off Christ and Judaism. Islam was a religion given to Mohammad (a man who greatly enjoyed having sex with small children) by a fallen angel. Islam goes out of its way to dismiss Christ as Lord and goes against ALL Xtian dogmas. Third off, Obama is actually Satanic. He worships a demon named Moloch. Only an intelligent man can see God through the facade. God by definition contains all primitive definitions. Bitch

  • @SuperSam424

So you can't define god then, obviously not. Islam is based upon the old testament. This is not a matter of opinion it is a matter of fact so look it up and stop whining about it. You are in NO position to comment upon Obamas belief system other than to quote what he says, which is christian.

You are not a mind reader, you're not even rational. I can see you have been brain washed by someone equally insane, which is sad but do not perpetuate this by inflicting it on your kids.

  • @srspower God IS eternal. How is this not a definition. Just because you can't grasp what that means does not mean it isn't insufficient. Islam is not BASED of the OT. It is dervied. As all good lies have bits of truth in them. You TRUST what Obama says? He's under the MK ULTRA. He IS brainwashed by demons. Ever since G. Washington our country is and has always been sacrificing children to demons for technological advancements. All the evidence is in plain sight. They just have subtle facades.

  • @SuperSam424 Eternal is a definition of time, not of being. But keep saying it.

The Qur'an is based on the old test. There are many similarities in both. Did you know that Jesus is mentioned several times in the Qur'an? Or Abraham? And Moses? They talk about the flood and other mythical events too. But, did you know that the Old testament stole much of what is in it from earlier religious documents and mythical stories too? So, if you're going to follow the original, you picked wrong.

  • @tommy605 No, the thing eternal is timeless. It must be. Second off you are not taking note of the fallen Angels. You misread the occultic and times, you misread the whole thing. Do not let "past" documents fool you. Do you reall think we have no REAL enemies? Jesus Christ is our Lord, only through him can the supernatural process of being spiritually born again is to take all evil and cast it on his cross. Let go. It's close to the time I believe.

  • @SuperSam424 No. I didn't misread anything. I read what the words said. I did not interpret them to read what I want them to say. What I wish they said. They are words written down. As plain as day. They say what they mean. What you're saying is that writings before any biblical writings are just there to fool us? How do you know it's not the other way around? how do you know that Horace is not the true messiah? Or that Jesus wasn't just a prophet like Mohammad?

  • @tommy605 ...Yes. Yes you did. They are actually here to distracct us yes. They are doctrines of Demons. Mohammad recieved the revelations of the Quran 500 years after God sent the Torah so we woulnd't have to send angels to teach men righteousness (due to the lust they had for the mortal females). Mohammad revieved the revelations from an Angel. It was simply a fallen angel. The Quran goes out of it's ay to attack every fundamental truth of the Gospel. It's a luciferian bent-truth. like satan

  • @SuperSam424 Much like the Old test went out of it's way to attack the fundamentals of other gospel truths before it. Yes, the Qur'an was written about 400 years after the events in the NT (notice, not the writing of the NT because that was written well after the events, which should raise suspicion) but by your own logic, timing isn't important. If the words before the Old Test didn't matter, than isn't it possible the same logic can be applied to the Qur'an and the bible?

  • @SuperSam424 The fact that Jesus said in the New test that the end of days would come in their lifetime indicates that Jesus was indeed wrong, and was at best, a false prophet.

But to the point of this video, pray. No one is trying to stop that, however there should not be a national day for that. It should not be endorsed by the government at all. I'd also be ok with getting rid of Christmas as a national holiday, but it's a day or two off work. Nothing more.

  • @tommy605 Your interpretaton carries assumptions. Jesus was NO "false prophet". His presence was emotionably noticable, he defyed physical logic. He rose from the dead, He taught accuratly about spiritual warefare, He fulfilled many prophecies and his history is written down in the geneology of the OT through the names, from Adam-Noah (this would have been unquestionable unprobable). Hw was either God, or a no one.

  • @SuperSam424 No, when it says that God commanded Abraham to kill his son, I read that to be God commanded Abraham to kill his son. Or when it tells you that you must kill a rape victim if she doesn't scream her objection loud enough, that's what I read. I do not insert a different meaning into it to justify the book as being good.

And no, the only reason any prophecies from the OT to the NT came true is because the NT is a sequel. Not hard to come up with stories to match.

    BTW, he was no one.

  • @tommy605 What the fuck is your first sentence supposed to be saying?? Why are you attempting to interpret the Bible at facevalue judgement and trying to pass it off as valid? I'm not an idiot. You're "interpretation" has presuppositions all the way through. Nothing in the Bible was "made up"!! All scriptual evidence points to the credibility of the Gospel. You just don't know anything. You're simply saying false things. All evidence points to him being God. You just deny it. That's all.

  • @SuperSam424 "Why are you attempting to interpret the Bible at facevalue judgement and trying to pass it off as valid?"

I interpret it for what it says, not what I think it says. I take it at face value. Isn't that right? I mean, you take what the Qur'an says at face value. When the Qur'an says to kill those who doesn't believe Mohammad is the true word of god, is that not taken at face value. There is no such thing as gospel credibility. Or scriptural evidence. Those are oxymorons.

  • @SuperSam424 ok listen buddy. everyone here is saying that you are dumb. if you read your comments and compare them with everyone else's, in addition to sounding like a programmed jesus robot, you sound like you are about 13 years old or mentally retarded. just trust the smarter people. the overwhelming majority of educated, intelligent people in this world say that religion is bullshit, so just trust them if you can't think for yourself, instead of siding with inbred redneck hillbilly texans.

  • @BANGBANGBANGBBANG Yeah, and? They're all just wrong. Religion IS bullshit. I hate religion. I'm not talking about religion. I'm talking about Jesus and God. Second off, the people who are speaking to me are not very bright. This is obvious due to their atheist "stance". You need to stop judging.

  • @SuperSam424

Nobody is stopping you praying to whatever god you like. The government however needs to remain neutral to reliegous believers and atheists alike precisely so YOU CAN prey to your god.

  • @srspower There is only one God. The rest are derived from or ARE fallen angels. Thw world is a stage and they are playing out as many fairy tales as it takes to make you forget about JESUS. I know that sounds like a religious fanatic said it but I've done my homework. Physical, metaphysical, philosophical, scriptual and spiritual homework. It all points to Jesus.

  • @SuperSam424 ya guess who's derived from other mythical figures.... brace yourself... YOUR JESUS. hahahaha look it up dim wit

  • @BANGBANGBANGBBANG False. There is more historical evidence for Jesus then any other figure that has ever been on earth. Look it up. Plus, demons only react to the name of Jesus.

  • @SuperSam424 False. We have NO eyewitness accounts of Jesus' life. Josephus, Tacitus etc. were all born well after the supposed crucifixion. The gospels were written anonymously and in the 3rd person with the names being added in later by the church. Mark, the earliest, wasn't even written until 65 AD and the original manuscripts have not been found. Even if they were eyewitnesses, it would still be hearsay and not admissible in a court of law.

  • @SuperSam424 And I just checked out your profile and you are 23 years old and have your "occupation" listed as, "saving people from themselves.". All I can say is, "Wow!". That sounds quite arrogant, but that is rampant in "christian" circles. When you actually grow up and get some life experience, then you can tell this 46 year old how life works. Until then, you should do some reading other than the buy bull and quit listening to people who have an emotional investment in affirming lies

  • @richwfd2002 Why do you people think you can read into things?? You can't. You have no impression of who I am from my Occupation line I put into my fucking YT page. Furthermore, you can't discredit Jesus. He's real. He rose from the dead. You simply lie about "there are no eyewitness accounts". Use better sources. Research more then scriptual evidence, as there is much misinformation out there. Study the paranormal and how it has shaped the US THEN tell me Jesus isn't real.

  • @SuperSam424 All I got to say to that is this: /watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0

  • @BANGBANGBANGBBANG False. There is more evidence in your comment that you are insane then there is evidence for jesus having even existed. seriously? demons? have any evidence for your extraordinary claim? am i living in loony toon land? are we part of the same reality? are you for real? did your parents lock you in a closet ever since you were born and only take you out to drag you to church you fucked up asshole?

  • What when did Thanksgiving have religious roots?

  • Stupid Xtians just not getting the point again

  • lol, hilarious. ah since 1952 nobody objected - WRONG.... oh, er what about Christian/Judeo.. WRONG secular e.g Tripoli.. ah ok are you going to ban Christmas then... • if you want to pray, then PRAY! i dont give a shit. choke yourself while you pray if it makes you happy, but keep it to yourself. no need to make a big fucking deal about it. keep it in the home or the church.

  • LOL, eventually Fox news will be taught to act as a proper new channel.

  • lol, barker destroyed him very elegantly

  • Nobody says they can't pray, just that the government can't start a day of prayer

I actually found that Fox anchor pretty good, he asked tough questions but wasn't a Hannity nor an O'Reilly
