  • ok.. here it is: "Forgive the intrusion, my lady. I did not intend to offend your eye, for I am a vile and loathsome creature. And I've crawled in here to die

  • can someone please explain what the brainy guy says please??

  • I dont understand what that brainy guy says... but I LOVE this animation.. you should've make more of this.. it's really great and original..

  • The music really reminds me of the ending of the song "Starship Trooper" by yes.

  • awesome

  • The oneself is becoming center nucleus core. Self is being existing as central nuclear core.

  • 私の自己自分自身の大部分が此処にある。

    何もかも完全部分此処に存在している。

I became whole all total everything, self became center nuclear core, therefore I can grant and realize and materialize and concrete my total wishes his all desires of real in the reality world.

    そのもの全体全面になった、中心核になった、だから現実世界に於ける全願望を実現具体化出来る。

There are self-own most of me here. I exist all perfection part here. My whole total all everything is being in here.

  • @wizardmori I dont understand caan you explain please

  • I keep on searching for this video every now and then, never get tired of seeing it. nice music too

  • @emmedimarta yuh, I always forget the name of it and end up searching for like 4 hours though

  • For selfish reasons, I say you should seriously consider digging up the old amiga and animate some more.

  • holy fucking shit what did I just watch

I couldn't sleep when I first watched this, but it does have a lot of artistic value

but in all seriousness what the fucking hell did I just watch

  • This is amazing and simply beautiful.

  • Shi, I got to lay off the shrooms.

  • amazing and fantastic !

the animation concepts are strange and alien but at the same time gritty and real

it has a wonderful retro colour pallet and look and the music is fantastic as well

  • Where i can dowload this song?

  • What is this track..? Very nice music. ID please.

  • this is serious awesomeness. if you manage to get more of the music from your NYC friend and share it, you will be doing the world a big favor.

  • I do the control of the domain that I spread and open and continued enlarging, with one self-sense consciousness awareness recognition as the center core, unify it.

    中心核としての自覚認識を持ち、広げ広がり拡大し続けた領域の統制を執り統括する。

  • Thanks..

  • @JimW925 Hey Jim, did you ever get in contact with your friend about the music?

  • Hey, just wanted to thank you for this video, so awesome! only 1mg? haha

  • must have... the mp3...

  • Thanks.. The video quality isn't all that hot since it was posted before You Tube started allowing high quality uploads.. One of these days I'll make a better video..

  • @JimW925 you gotta be kidding, the sjit video quality is whta MAKES this

  • this is amazing, the video and the music.

  • Yes, the old primitive computer days of no memory... It was very expensive then also.

  • Cool animation! What song is this?

  • Thanks..

  • I really like this animation. It's poetic in a way and has just a hint of mysterious meaning and symbolism, just like ERASERHEAD :)

  • beautiful

  • Thanks for the nice comment on an old animation done in the 'primitive days' before digital and the internet ..

  • this is great!

  • Thanks a lot...

  • dope. john carpenter vibe going on

  • this is excelllent. Thanks for sharing!

  • As far as I know.. that's the only tune I have and that was on a cassette tape which was used in the animation...

  • Hey, JimW925, do you have any more of your friend's music laying around? I love this stuff.

  • this is great.. creepy and brilliant... just awesome

    5/5 ex-stars :D

  • Live action remake? Humm.. I don't think I wanna' squeeze into a small exploding pod with prune face..

  • @JimW925 Still enjoy this video. Cool stuff.

  • Jim, this is a fantastic video by any time's standards. I have shown this to all of my friends. The talent/patience required to make this is admirable and I am envious of your creative mind. Thanks for sharing this. How about a live action remake? haha

  • i worked with an amiga in like 7th grade back in the late 90s. this rules more than i can say.

  • I love this so much. The look that you achieved with the Amiga program is really unsettling and fun. Someone out there must have made an emulator for it.

  • congratulations, this is one of the best vids i've ever seen here.

  • this is the best fucking song/animation combo in existence. this makes me want to animate. i love everything about this in every way. this is GOLD. i have listened/watched this so many fucking times. wish i could download this song!!!!

  • awesome! good job!

  • I totally enjoyed this! Music is great too!

  • so did this level of genius ever become world famous or should i just quit now with only 1/10000th of the talent and hard work?

awesome . i have an idea how hard all this was[animation wise] to create and am AWED by the final results creator and brilliance as well as humbled by the sheer effort it took.

    thanks.

  • @yourt00bsux ..Never became world famous.. just quietly faded into obscurity...

  • @JimW925 well aint that the most tragi-depressing thing i heard all week?

i wish you the best in your current and futiue endeavours. give us more!!

  • so did this level of genius ever become world famous or should i just quit now with only 1/10000th of the talent and hard work?

awesome . i have an idea how hard all this was to create and am AWED by the final results creator and brilliance as well as humbled by the sheer effort it took.

    thanks.

  • would love to know how exactly u made this, like with software at the time.

  • @theposhtiger It was made with Deluxe Paint III... the easiest most intuitive paint / animation program I ever used. Too bad it was never properly ported over to Windows, Mac or Linux. If I could use it, anybody could.

  • @JimW925 thanks so much. i cant stop watching this video.

  • This is actually pretty good. If one of those "spoken word" bands like mewithoutYou could recreate it, it would be really awesome.

  • forgive the intrusion my lady.... love that damn song.

  • where's the mp3?

  • @nspannaus There is no mp3 available.. You'd have to make your own editing and converting the track off this video.. There is no high quality 'original' still around as far as I know.

  • this was worth waiting almost 20 years for...

    love these great basement finds!

and taken from a vhs tape, that's street cred.

    dig.

  • Jesus, this was the most bizarre thing I've seen all day.

    In a good way.

  • reaaaly need this song

  • i love the music. i want it on my mp3.

  • I hope it dosen't explode entirely like an over inflated balloon.. lol

  • esta wea vale callampa

  • This video has exploded in popularity over the past day and rightly so. It's amazingly awesome.

  • This is awesome and the music goes so well with it!

  • god why can't this song be longer

  • music is awesome! love it.

  • Sweet Holy Tap Dancing Jesus! This is one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. This would make David Cronenberg scratch his head and say WTF!

    Pure liquid WIN.

  • this is great. both the music and the video remind me a lot of birdy nam nam - the parachutes ending.

  • why cant i post a link to another video

    well look it up

  • man, what a great way to start my day! Great stuff, even if it's from the dark ages before the internets.

  • The song is great! The animations too!!

  • This was really amazing. I'm glad I stumbled upon it.

  • Truly brilliant work.

  • Video didn't kill the radio star... This thing did!

  • Dig it. Cool stuff!

  • FTW Nicely done sir!

  • dude, that some slick pixel work!

  • This is really phenomenal.

  • FWIW you can run AmigaOS and DP under emulation perfectly well

  • @darkfalken42 I've heard about emulators.. but don't know anything about them or what's needed to set them up.. I have a lot of old Amiga pgms. that I'd like to run again, but my old 500 is in need of a boot floppy drive to work again. I've still have an external drive for it that maybe I could take apart and install internally, I don't know. I have all the original anims on Amiga floppy that would be nice to transfer over in a good quality digital cam....Maybe someday.

  • Galaxy in a jar... I'd buy that... Good music.

  • Excellent!

  • Very well made and I really like the music. Well done.

These days will never return, will they?

  • sick

  • some of the best art i've seen on youtube. awesome man

  • would have hoped this music would live on

  • The music was made by a guy in California, who, sorry to say has since died. He, along with my friend in NYC were in the process of producing an album..which now won't happen. I made the animation for them which ran on an NYC cable show at the time.

  • @JimW925 I'd really love to get a copy/mp3's of the unfinished album, or, if that's not possible, just this song. I've already listened to it about 10 times since discovering it today.

  • @smalleywall As far as I know, my friend and his friend only made cassette copies of this song. It was sort of before the advent of the CD. I don't think any other copy, if it's still around is any better quality than what's on this animation.

  • @JimW925 Sorry to hear that. The song is good; very creepy and atmospheric. It's been running through my head since I heard it.

  • @JimW925 what was the name of that NYC cable show man?? I really loved your video you should make more of this is great.. but would like to see something like this..

  • hey i love it! who did the music please?

  • I'd give you 10 stars if only I could... Nice video and amazing sound! Great!

  • Yo JW. Nice video. Hope you are well. DI

  • Always nice to see interesting, original content. Videos like this are what I like so much about YouTube.

  • On 'Center Core' I used Deluxe Paint III, a very easy pgm. to figure out, even without the manual.. It was one of my favorite programs.. too bad it was never properly ported over to Windows.. if It were, I'd rush out and buy it today.. Jim

  • Amazing film, what software did you use to make this on the Amiga?

  • very cool.

  • Dude ... this is amazing. How long did this take you to make? Years 1991-1993?

  • wow it's so so good....

  • I love this I've watched it about five times

  • Awesome stuff! Makes me think of the mid 90's when I wished to join to a demogroup but couldn't as I lived in the middle of nowhere and knew no one from the scene. And now when I do know people and skills have developed a bit, it's too late as the demoscene is not the same anymore. Sigh.

  • Ahhh, this is awesome!

  • Excellent stuff. I watched it all the way through, which may sound like faint praise, but I think that for a lot of us on YouTube, that's a kind of rare occurrence. Really good stuff, thanks for putting it up.

  • Thanks for the very nice comment. Good luck in the Far East, I lived in various countries there for 7 years. Jim

  • This is amazing! Where can I get this music?

  • As far as I know this music was never released commercially. A friend of mine in NYC and another friend of his were putting this stuff together as demo cuts back in the early 90's. This video I made and their music ran on a NYC cable tv show then. My NYC friend is kind of hard to reach at the moment, but I'll email him and ask..might be some old tapes around. JIM

  • Im speechless. You should do more stuff like that. Is there some more music available from this band?

  • There may be some music still around that my friend in NYC has, but I believe the guy who made that track and most of the others, has died. He and my NYC friend were planning on doing more stuff together, but that was put on hold, in this world anyway. Jim

  • yes! love the animation and the music

  • Thanks, I'm not an animator.. just like to play with video when the mood strikes me. I mainly do part time voice work and some video editing when it's available. Most of the time I need a kick in the rear to get me motivated to do something.. lol.. JIM

  • this is insanely great!

  • Thanks.. I'm not any kind of an animator.. Just like to play around once and awhile when 'inspired' or kicked in the ass to do something.. JIM

  • Good work!!
