Pure and absolute respect for these people. It is so easy to take these productions for granted. But when we actually see the labor involved in their creation it is a real eye opener. Thank you Miyazaki for such splendid work.
@kailyprower This is how a film is "production designed" actually, even in Live action. I remember working on a film that flopped from a HUGE director that needed options for vintage desk telephones from the 1940s. A mountain of research went into each scene. Just like this. You have to feel the truth of everything or it becomes false and boring.
すげぇ...こんな作業の上に完成するんだ...

2:42- I love how those two artists do such a ridiculous thing for Miyazaki without hesitation or question.

i observed that japanese are master at describing their ideas by diagrams and schemes

アニメに、魂と愛と心を込めているからこそ、
本当にリアルな動きになるんだなぁって
改めて、凄さを感じました!!!!><

NOT cuts BUT frames I meant.
ie) 6 ''frames'' out of a second would make a lot of difference.
thnx for your kind understanding...

i took animation class and 6 frames out of ONE second doesn't make much of a difference
japanese are just perfectionists. they're so thorough about their work it's amazing.
