It was just a gimmick. WWE does this all the time. Scott Hall wasn't really Cuban, just a gimmick. Armando Estrada is actually Palestinian, Kozlov is not Russian but Ukrainian, Sabu is white, etc. Its gone now. All traces of the jamaican gimmick are gone.

He spoke with a vocalizer because he was unable to speak. Look at him now. Christian was supposedly Edge's brother; now they are just friends.
