@angel32girl2 No, it's a job left for the kidneys, liver, and intestines. Unless you've been poisoned or are a drug addict, you do not need to "detox" your body. This is a fad that has absolutely zero scientific evidence behind it.
@XforeverlongingX Sorry I have to disagree with you. Even though our organs do help in the detoxification process as you mentioned, the environment we live in, as well as the food&water we consume are ridden with toxins, endocrine disruptors, etc. which impact our bodies. Sometimes our organs are on overdrive, and they need a break. I would encourage you to try a cleanse, and then tell me how you feel after completing one. Please do not comment on something you yourself haven't tried.
@angel32girl2 Everything that you have written is quite compatible with the placebo effect which is a proved phenomenon. I do not doubt that there are toxins around us but if we were toxic in a state of overload then we would have instances of mass organ failure at extremely young ages. Which we do not have. Secondly, what allows you to make such a presumptuous statement as to whether or not I have tried any "detox" program? You do not have access to that information about me.
@XforeverlongingX Sorry if I have offended you, I personally don't care as to whether you yourself have tried a detox or not. My point in general, is that it is a good idea for at least once in a persons life to detox their bodies. I do not promote supplementing at all, I just simply stated that this video is informational. Anybody can simply detox by doing raw juice fasts and such without the use of additional supplements.
@angel32girl2@angel32girl2 "Sorry if I have offended you, I personally don't care as to whether you yourself have tried a detox or not. " I'm a big boy I can handle it. You seemed to care about whether or not I tried these alchemist concoctions in your previous comment where you stated " I would encourage you to try a cleanse, and then tell me how you feel after completing one. Please do not comment on something you yourself haven't tried. "
@angel32girl2 "Anybody can simply detox by doing raw juice fasts and such without the use of additional supplements." There is no detoxification occurring in "raw juice fasts" all you're doing is not eating solid food. That is not detoxification. If you had come to me and said I am using Dimercaptosuccinic acid or EDTA then you'd be right to say that is detoxifying (and also dangerous at times, and only to be used with mercury/lead poisoned patients backed by clinical evidence/testing)
@XforeverlongingX Sorry but if you really have no good to say about this, why are you even disputing with me about something you don't believe in. Get a life!
@angel32girl2 It's all a lovely idea though and that's why it has such an appeal to it. The notion of "healing" your body "naturally" is something every thinking primate would want to do. It just doesn't work that way though. There are tricks and tips to for example kill bacteria on the skin (salicylic acid from willow bark I believe or witch hazel) Lauric acid, caprylic acid from coconuts help with certain fungi and so forth but this isn't curing cancer. This isn't detoxifying as it's touted
@angel32girl2 "My point in general, is that it is a good idea for at least once in a persons life to detox their bodies. " How many times do I have to say this. Your body does that for you. That is how you are alive despite all of the bacteria around you the pollution in the air and so forth. Want an example? a smoker stops smoking. What happens without medical intervention? the lungs heal themselves
@angel32girl2 *feeling* better afterwards does not prove that A. there is a problem with you being poisoned. B. that it is not all psychological. C. That it proves that any herbal treatment worked. So while it may be nicer to think that you can purchase things to rid your body of evil, the body works without that assumption. In addition, none of these herbs could cure you if you REALLY had, let's say, a non-acute exposure/mercury problem.
@XforeverlongingX Also, I believe in complimentary medicine. I don't believe that pharmaceuticals alone can resolve a patients need all of the time, sometimes it is good to help a patient who suffers from chronic pain or other diseases with acupuncture or another alternative medicine approach. I think you should read more about this, and look at the news and at what age little girls are starting to have their periods.
@angel32girl2 "chronic pain or other diseases with acupuncture or another alternative medicine approach. I think you should read more about this, and look at the news and at what age little girls are starting to have their periods. " All of which is a non-sequitur.
@angel32girl2 And let me repeat for emphasis since my initial point has completely escaped you. There is zero medical evidence to prove your assumption about "cleansing" in this way.
@XforeverlongingX It is sad to see that many people, such as yourself, are very ignorant. I suggest before posting any further you do your research. Even if there is zero medical evidence, one cannot negate the fact that these alternative therapies provide both physiological & psychological benefits. I don't know if you've been through some rough patches in your life, however don't take it out on us & try to discourage people. Just focus on your own beliefs and move along!
@angel32girl2 No no my dear madame, the presenter in this video is claiming to offer certain services that have certain effects. If you do the research, which evidently means nothing to you (which I should add, contempt for research is the worst stance to take in the medical profession), you will find that this is all speculative and that promises are made that have A. not been proved to be true. B. the former is not told to the patient. It's called being a charlatan. Be one if you'd like.
@XforeverlongingX Thanks for your comment. Actually, the world we live in is contaminated with numerous poisons. Too many to name here. I think it is wise to detox the body on a regular basis. Our immune systems are constantly under attack. The detoxing helps to provide a "catalyst" with which the toxins can bind and be readily extracted from the body by the immune system. Prior to detoxification, I had numerous health symptoms which all disappeared following a lengthy detox program. :)

@JakeThanksYou You don't need to be following any detox programs unless you've been poisoned or are a drug addict.
