  • nice workmanship. outstanding example of a 2 pole permanant magnet motor.

  • the think is the further you go with the power to more is lost. Same principle with steam engines, the power source (the boiler) has massive energy out put but only a fraction of that power gets used because the power lessens the more gears it has to spin.

To skilo: magnetic engines produce kinetic energy but they have to have an external power source to produce the power.

  • nice small presentation. Just right!

  • Why cant we build something like this on a larger scale and out it in a car?

Then we can stop burning all this exspensive gas.

  • @skilo1983 because it's massively inefficient, you should try to do some research before making retarded statements

  • @Gzus70 I will master cocksucker, In fact may i have your personal email address so that i may run everything i want to say by you first for your approval before i say it?

Or perhaps your phone number that way i can call you and ask your permission to say whats on my mind?

  • @skilo1983 - this is an electric motor. Have you been living in a cave? There are cars powered by electric motors now...of course they cost more than gas powered cars....LOL.

  • @LiamXaoh No. that is an Electro-MAGNET-motor.

Name one car that is powerd by a magnet motor.

  • @skilo1983 - say what? A motor powered by electricity is an "electric motor". A magnetic field created by electricity is called an "electromagnet". There is no such thing as an electromagnetic motor. Bad use of terminology.

There are no magnetic motor powered cars, but there are several powered by electric motors.

  • @LiamXaoh I know that, Thats what i said.

Of course everyone knows their are electric cars, Golf carts have been around for years before anyone thought of making a car electric.

What im saying is why have we not built a magnet engine and put it in a car?

  • @skilo1983 - "magnet engines" are not used to power anything for one reason. They produce no power. It is a myth that it is possible to make an engine that works by magnets alone.

  • @LiamXaoh I think it's possbile, If the magnet engine is spinning a rod wich could turn a wheel and generate electricity then why not?

  • @skilo1983 - you don't seem to get it. A magnet engine doesn't turn at all. They don't self start or keep spinning when spun by hand, so there is no output to drive anything. A working magnetic motor is a myth.

  • how much time needs it to start ?

  • I would like to give you 3 suggestions. 1- by changing the rotations of wires in rotor try to make elecromagnets power very close to permanent magnets power. (The reason is if you put 1 very week magnet next to a strong one, they absorb eachother, even if both have same polarity). 2- by shortening the main rod in the middle of rotor you will reduce the resonance and therefore the motor wil rotate faster and smoother and 3- make it thiner to reduce friction. Good luck.

  • Single phase motor?

  • Hey let me kno if it's reliable to power atleast a battery charger. ;)

  • this is cool im trying to build some thing similar myself but without the current ...im also trying to convert magnetic energy in to a current... look up magnetic current some guy named edd? figured out how to do it

  • what is da size of that base???

  • Ha ha!

    Very neet

    How does it work?

  • Send instructions on how to do this please

  • There are No free energy blue prints they're bogus don't give yur money to hucksters

  • I made one of these in the seventh grade. I made one for the neighbor kid for the science fair and used a 14 volt drill battery and it really kicked some @ $ S.

  • Cool! Are how many revolutions per minute?

  • plzzzzzzz tell me in detailed how did u made it plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i need to make my project plzzzzzzzz

  • This is how any non-brushless electric motor works.

  • nice dude im going to use your model for my school proyect too

  • Hey do this, trust me I Did it and it works. Attach the wires to a electric drill battery recharger and then plug that baby in the wall. Pretty Sweet.

  • That's the easy part. Now make the magnets generate the electricity. ;)

  • How did you connect the coil to the commutator? What is your commutator made out of? This looks pretty cool.

  • how do u connect the coil to the commutator?

  • kinda weak compared to mine,

i went down to my local power plant and rerouted the electrical grid to get more power, combined with 200 lbs of neodynium magnets i was able to create a black hole the size of a softball...

it sucked my dog in, poor thing, totally worth it though

  • @WaitItGetsBetter

best story I've seen in these youtube comments thus far.. ! lol

  • @WaitItGetsBetter you can go to prison for life now. highly illegal

  • @WaitItGetsBetter the best joke so far

  • @WaitItGetsBetter

200 lbs of neodymium . wow, buddy. That's hardcore ...

  • I'm having trouble wrapping my coil... can anyone help me?

  • Now tap the energy to recharge the battery. But I doubt you are following the posts here some 4 years later.

  • cool:P

im making one now too and its not going tooo well hehe:S

  • weak my shit goes 10x faster

  • Hi man, can you help me with this project? can you tell me that material used and the conecctions of battery?.

    Thanks

  • we used copper wire with a battery and som weed so the video would get stonde so it would think it really works and some nerds to tell stuff what was verry cool and uhh that was it thx for watching my vid and ... uhh bye

  • dude i have the same ceramic magnets

  • whats the thing thats spinning

  • roast chicken.

  • idiot! it's a chicken wing

  • it s probably a copper coil which is being fed electricty through the rod running through the middle. It s attached to what looks like a metal tub feeding energy from a battery out of the picture. The two pieces of copper wire complete the circut on either side of the metal tub. It couple probably run alot faster if he used ball bearings.

  • a pig on a roasting stick!

  • its a custom made wire spool

  • can u describe how u make this?

  • nice model...

  • interesting

  • What's with all the idiots thinking this is some sort of free energy crock 'o shit? Nowhere does it claim to be... at all... it's a simple motor, guys.

  • cool

  • wow its freakin fast. awesome

  • Первый автомобиль на таком двигателе сделал Тесла. Он не требовал подзарядки и ехал со скоростью 150 км/час.

  • howed you get the sucker to book it so fast?

  • uuh i remember those i think i made one when i was around 8 or 9 years old :D.

  • Jesus you guys are retarted. This is only a simple electromagnetic motor. Not another free energy scam.

  • Disconnect the battery. Will the "motor" produce the same amount of HP? How many amps are initially used to start the motor? What is the turn over ratio? And person who asked do permanent magnets have the same poles as non-permanent mags have...the answer is yes.

  • the black thing spinning is a piece of copper?

  • anyone know what the name of the actual motor is or the inventor i gotta write a paper on it :( having trouble finding that info to research it.

  • what is generated, should have showed the electric being generated!! also is it friction a good thing? looks to me it would wear itsself out eventually with friction. people explain your theories!!

  • do electromagnets have north and south poles just like a normal magnet

  • I want to make my own, how can u build one?

  • look at the video, dont be a dumbass

    MAGNETS + electromagnetic pulse motor

  • Brings back memories of the 7th grade at Kirk Jr. High School. We made the same style motor using copper wire and wooden sewing tread bobbin. Thanks for posting.

  • stop the motor and explain it please.................

i am waiting for your respose.

  • Yes. All you need to make it work without batteries is a bit of anti matter and some common sense.

  • Lol...

  • anyway to make it work without batteries?

  • yeah use solour panels

  • yeah thats very simple but fun to make none the less it can kill some time if you need to

  • NIce presentation

  • you could make a AC motor buy just supplying straight AC into the coil instead of using the brushes switch the current direction. It would be a task but possible

  • what grade they were on?man i cant believe that its a project or smt....so easy for magination of it

  • I saw cables hooked to it.Was it powering something?

  • LOL, the cables were powering the electromagnet of course. DC motors are to simple. I want to see someone make an AC motor.

  • aww a cute hobby motor

  • Nice job. I built one out of a coil of wire, a pencil, strong neodymium magnets and cardboard one day... just so say I could do it.
