I loved BOB, Ive still got all their records, playlists from concerts, and my 'im with the band' backstage pass for a concert I went to. Good memories :o)
Wow...thanks for this. Shamefully I must admit a long-forgotten band who should have been a LOT bigger. This song was a staple of every compilation tape I made for me walkman in 1990. Fantastic!
What a performance! Great to see that and to hear the song again. I saw them in Shrewsbury in 1988, I think. Is there any more BOB out there to be uploaded?
I voted for this in that year's festive 50! I like to feel I made a very small but satisfying contribution to musical history there. It's great to hear this again!
Fond memories of this charasmatic band and went to see them on many occasions with the" Brummie Barmy Army" - they supported Carter the unstopable sex machine - if i remember correctly?
My fave tracks are Esmerlda Brooklyn and Banwell Blues No.2 - i still wear my "BEASTS OF BORDEM " badge with pride ! Thankyou for posting this !
Ahhhh! Lovely boys, they were! Haven't seen them for years, but many happy times in my youth. Toured once with them, selling merchandise - had a blast. Great to see the vid! Thanks for that!!
Saw these twice at the duchess in Leeds. Good times. Underated, unheard always upbeat. Could have been bigger, Jangly guitars a la bluetones voice as clear as yukon lake. Swagsack a classic.
MATE!!! i Saw these upstairs in the broken doll in newcastle, the place went mental and the roof caved in. Happy days!! I thought it was gone forever - thanks so much!
Many thanks for putting this up, Kapitan. You have no idea how much I love this song! Ain't it funny how sometimes when you see a band for the first time, as I just have watching this, they don't look anything like you expect 'em to??
thats my uncle rich! does that make me famous? pretty sure it does

To paraphrase John Peel - in any well-ordered society this would have been a number one hit in the charts

54 now. Late 80's indie saved me from total musical ennui back then. Thanks Bob, Man From Del Monte, Ultra Vivid Scene etc etc
