You can tell a god drummer cause they know when NOT to play. People who are still learning tend to over play to the point they can't even keep a beat.

I understand Dani California and Tell Me Baby, but Under the Bridge and Otherside are pretty easy... However, when playing live Chad Smith makes 'em more funky than they are on record.

Try the non-live version. You'll see a big difference. It 's the ride on the chorus. And hi-hat on the end. The recorded version would be a lot better. I like it better myself.
