Ugh, Verizon. If I were you, once news comes out on official pricing for an out-of-contact Nexus, and it's still high, consider getting one from Canada ($649.95 CAD) and unlocking it.

technically you cant really get mad about the multiple release dates, Verizon hasnt given any of them as a set date, so how can you call it a delay or push back? Just because some "source" sends a screen shot of a delivery receipt or some internal document with a date on it people shouldnt assume anything. I am getting the phone, day 1... whenever that is, it will still be the best phone on Big Red when it drops.

@marquesbrownlee I understand completly. I am left scratching my head as to how the most anticipated device of the year is not even getting mainsteam publicity. I dont get it. But i know that the way that verizon runs thier company is very "safe". the 9th was going to be the real release but the LTE network issues made that change. Think about the strain that will be put on the network when this phone sells.. and some of us (like me) still have unlimited data and plan to take full advantage

And even though it was not publicly announced every Verizon store i go to said that the 9th was suppose to be the release day and they dont know what happened. @TheVillain I really hope so. A few days ago i stopped by a Verizon reseller inside a BJ's store and the guy was really cool and he let me play with his Galaxy nexus. It felt amazing in the hand and it was pretty good. Honestly the camera is not as bad as people make it out to be. Im using a droid bionic right now and the GN camera kicks its ass. Its almost as good as the iphone 4 camera which is good enough for me. I really cant wait for it.

A couple days ago, my local rep affirmed that the phone was releasing on the 9th, and that she'd give me a call the night before, just to confirm.

She called me tonight, saying that the release had been pushed back (with no set date), and that I should NOT show up at the store tomorrow morning expecting it. She apologized, and said she'd call again with a confirmed release date.

+1 for her customer service / -1 for Verizon's mishandling of this major release.

The UK version has bugs with media volume and there should be an update before the actual phone comes out. Just like the bionic, they wanted to correct as much as possible before the release. The 11th at the latest and as early as 8th. We have the cases in stock and the Purchase Orders are already sent. My worry is going to be a lot of returns on the phone. Some people don't really know what the Nexus line is really about.
