I think the song is really good, and have recently started listening to alot of Vents stuff, but does anyone else think the $427 per week poverty claim is a little unrealistic? that's $61 per day - why is the claimed definition of Australian poverty in excess of 50 times the global poverty line definition? By this assumption, the 'poverty line' claimed in the video is like $20,500 annually, in most of the world that is a pretty damn good wage. Anyway enough bitching, time to hit replay :)

But the POINT of it in the clip is how low the dole is, I've never lived on the dole but that number does seem mad fuckin' low. People close to me have been stuck in that ol' never-ending housing commission system. Pretty damn hard cycle to break out of. It breaks people.
