My Late brother Norman Roger Go back a long way just as Deano does.My only
regret I was not able to shake Deans hand before he died.. Dean brings back many happy memories of the past and he will be remembered way into te future.
For god's sake, what does it matter how old you are to like this kind of music??? it doesn't, so you don't need to post a comment saying your goddamn age!!
@monkeymatt543 I think the point is that great music isn't entirely lost on the younger generation. Being surrounded by morons who listen to trashy pop music, hip-hop and rap and who would call this sort of music shit, I personally find it quite refreshing that there are others out there like me. So yeah, it does matter, even if the age issue is brought up a little too much :)
@Slypaperclips Heck, Ioved this song when I was 3, and when I got my change tohear it on the radio, mine or that of parents,it put shivers down my spine when I was a teenager! Yeah, I am 51. Just accept age is a number and NOT an identity.
@prettymom777 when did I ever say age was an identity? I merely stated the true fact that today, the most popular music for my age group tends to be the worst. Your attempt at patronising me is plain stupid, and you've clearly missed my point. I never said that teenagers have an inherant yearning for shit music, or that older people don't listen to more contemporary stuff. So calm the fuck down.
Dino and the musicians of his era were true artist...My parents listen to them as I was growing up and I followed the tradition and now I set and listen to them and cherish the memories of my parents and my childhood...Praying my grandchildren will have the same type of memories of us...
Este es un gran tema del recuerdo....la voz, el artista en sus tiempos muy buenos....Felicitaciones a quienes comparten este extraordinario gusto por lo clasico americano...
Funny how some people think of Dean with Jerry Lewis. When I think of Dean I think of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Either way they are all great guys.
I am so glad that I got to see Dean in 1987 in Vegas. I was front row with my girlfriend at the time, who could not have cared less about Dean Martin. But I did and I got to shake his hand after his performance which was fantastic. Gosh I miss Dean, Sammy, Frank and the rest of the guys. These guys were totally cool. Way cooler then any of the knuckleheads nowadays.
music for the italoa-amercian mafia in the middle of the XX century, so i love it just as i love the "corrido" music from and for the mexican mafia now ;)
when we were kids my father would take us for sunday afternooon rides in the car and eventually we would end up singing this song amongst others what happened to the good ole days

I never put anyone down or identigy them by their ages! And, I am not that judgmental.
There are however, some things my girl listens to that aren't nice! That's all.
