I wonder why Hindi music makers don't use his voice anymore. I was just watching an interview of his on Asianet (Malayalam Channel) and he still looks and sounds just like he did 30 years ago!
How can I dowload all these OLDIES...??? Is there a way on youtube to download.??? ANYONE..???? I was Fortunate to see Dr.Yesudas when he performed in the Bay Area...(Northern California)
@8inchspice On Firefox, you can install small app called "download helper, then you get a small icon before song name. If you click that, song will download to your computer. If you are using Crome or IE, just type "keep" before "youtube" in address, and a download page will open, allowing you to download video in many qualities ans even mp3. Must have java installed.
you can argue..or even tell Rafisaab is a better singer than Yeshudas, may be he is based on the range.....but you have to accept one unarguable fact that the most "melodious and perfect male sound" ever heard and will ever hear on Earth is Yeshudas....the one and only Yeshudas......
Consider as one of Yesudas master piece. I heard this song live from Yesudas and as well as by other famous top artist and they don't come anywhere near to his shadow. Simply marvelous ..... incredible. May God bless Yesudas again and again.
I do not know if it is the funny pronounciation of Yesudas or the lyrics themselves but this song stats with good earnest and ends up comical urging th egirl to take a second look at a funny guy with not much seroiusness

@dubbooman- YES We Indians are PROUD of everything-diverse people, beautiful culture and everything in between, BUT We still have to go long way and burn the mid night oil to overcome our shortfalls and Yes Yesudas ji is simply GREAT
I totally agree with you friends...Yesudas the invincible in singing...his voice is divine gift ....but some tried to put him down with muscle power...he still sang even with more glory...and still sings...no muscle power or politics can pull down this great talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree..as a person he is a very indepedent person and do not succumb to politics, and he is from the south. Do you think he can survive the mafia.Well he did not loose anything h is well established in the south , especially kerala he is almost like God, his pet name is "Gana Gandharvan" ie is the musician of the Gods...and people respect him a lot.he is referred to as "Dasettan" more than Yesudas..which stands for Brother Yesudas like an elder brother.Hindi film mafia needs a kick in the ass,
are there any words to describe this? it is out of this world..who knows for how many previous births he had worshipped at the feet of goddess muse!
