  • ESTE ES UN CLASICO DE CLASICOS DE LA LUCHA LIBRE... SIEMPRE SE DIVIDIA LA GENTE GRITANDO A FAVOR O EN CONTRA... SIEMPRE DABAN UNOS FORMIDABLES ENCUENTROS.... YO PIENSO QUE ESTOS DOS SIN SON LEYENDAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Like no lie, i know El hijo del santo. i lived with him in guerro. cool cat owns a little store connected to his house, and a big white dog.

  • hey Roylucier do you know that Mr. Negro casas was the trainer of Konnan, rey mysterio jr., psicosis, averno, mephisto and he is an icon in Japan and Jericho talk about him in his book... A true legend of lucha libre.

  • @balamflight Negro is a legend, and no disrespect here, but Rey Sr. (Miguel Angel) is the trainer of Konnan, Rey Jr (his nephew) and Psicosis. Negro has trained a few people, but those 3 are Tijuana trained. Anyone from the area gets trained by Rey Misterio. Been to that school hundreds of times

  • i just learned about El hijo del santo today all i know bout him is he is a very popular lucha libre wrestler in mexico may someone in form me some stuff about him!

  • @ChadTheWrestleManiac His father is an absolute legend in Mexico, made over 60 movies, and the day of his death (Feb. 5th) is a national holiday in Mexico. His son isn't as famous as he could have been, but he is a hell of a wrestler when he has his working boots on. Thanks for watching!!

  • @roylucier wow thank you man was his father also a wrestler or was he just a movie star??

  • @ChadTheWrestleManiac he was both, a wrestler first, but then a movie star later. He even incorporated wrestling during his movies. Do a Google search and type in "List of El Santo movies", try to watch one if you can. Really interesting, cause Santo's influence on Mexico is leagues beyond any other wrestlers influence in their country, like Hulk Hogan in the States, and Rikidozan in Japan.

  • @roylucier wow thank u soo much ill do that right now!

  • CUANDO EN VERDAD ERAN LUCHAS NO LA PORQUERIA QUE PASAN HOY

  • This was the best wrestling event ever. CMLL,AJPW,NJPW,AAA,WCW and even ECW wrestlers were in this event. Fuck Wrestlemania this owned it.

  • porke ay tanto polvo ???

  • que luchon onones daban estos 2 luchadores buena rivalidades que tienen actualmente

  • Once I saw an incredible Hijo del Santo vs Negro Casas mano-a-mano match broadcasted in Mexico TV where you could see that these 2 clearly hated each other, it was incredible, one of the best natches ever, you should track that match, it's definitively worth it.

  • best 6 minute match ever?

La casita, cration of negro casas "the black plague"

  • Never seen any extensive pro-shot footage from this show before (I know clips aired on Japan TV but I don't think any matches aired in full and I would guess they had commentary). Where'd you get this?

  • @rolochoshu there was a pro shot done by some people that were with Dave Meltzer. One of the weekly Japanese wrestling shows also did a special on the show. There are a couple more matches available out there, just none involving the WCW, CMLL, or AAA guys.

  • @roylucier actually all the matches except the 4 involving the wcw guys are available. Check sites that sell puroresu dvd-rs

  • is that guy a model with you

  • Wow that was a great little match between them :)

  • Glad you like it... HEY... if you are able to track down any other Peace Festival matches, please let me know... thank you JHelp

  • I found a match from the Peace Festival, and you'll get a kick out of it, I guarantee it ;-)

  • Great little match here, are you planing on uploading more matches from the show? If so could you upload the Fujiwara/Taktarov vs Inoki/Severn? Thanks a lot!

  • Wow... thanks!! That means a lot, esp. coming from Hungary.... I am TRYING to locate more matches from the show, but it hasn't been easy. I know a tape exists that is two hours in length, that shows all matches that didn't involve WCW guys, but have had trouble finding it. I GOT over 7000 tapes, unfortunately, that's not one of them. Kevin Wilson from Puro Central sent me this one because I could be seen on camera after Negro won, but that's the only match he had too. Promise to keep you posted

  • This match was good, but their 87 and 97 matches are better. The 97 one is worked shoot style.

  • Oh totally, I agree, I've seen some great mask vs hair and title matches between these two, this is nothing compared to what they are capable of, but I really didn't think the promoters were going to let them steal the show. Funny thing, best match of the night in my opinion, was the tag match with Rey Jr. in it, and the Lygar vs Great Sasuke match.

  • WHOS THAT WITH YOU IS HE A ACTOR

  • Nice upload dude, it's a shame American wrestling doesn't showcase more guys like this; some of the moves were incredible, and unlike anything I've seen in WWE or TNA

  • Thanks for commenting... I fully agree, and this style of wrestling is one of the top reasons that WCW was winning the ratings war from 1996-1998, is because they actually WERE having matches like this.

  • i think after this event ray mysterio jr and psicosis got a wcw deal

  • Yes... you can see Bischoff in the front, esp. when Santo does his dive, he almost knocks down Bischoff. Also, Jericho got signed to a deal after this show. I should be posting more Peace Festival matches within the week. Jericho was in a three way vs Bigelow and Konnan.

  • Thanks dude. I'd love to see the Fujiwara match.

  • it seems that it be hard to breathe with that mask and everything.

thats pretty cool that you were there.

  • Welll..Only Because you asked me to check it out..lol cool... i like wrestling..but.. dont watch it all too much..well ttyl

  • Thanks for sharing Roy. Love the music especially the twist and turn hook the arm, roll, and pin tenichque. Saw you too! awesome video.

  • i think it's called the La Magistral

  • Yes it is... also known as the "Dandina Cradle"

  • It's called La Casita (incorrectly titled La Mahistral by the Japanese).

  • Yeah, I was being renditious.

  • Who's that idiot at 9:03 that Negro Casas poses with?

  • The same idiot that used to host a TV show with you in 1992 to 1994
