So did you ever get this TV fixed? If so, what part was the problem? This looks very similar to a problem I'm having with my Panasonic plasma (same model as yours).
@Travisthehead I really don't know what to tell you, I don't repair these. I just kept looking on YouTube for similar situation as mine and then just posted the video because I was pissed. Looked on forums and troubleshooting searches. Sounds like you have similar problem to many folks out there. Hope you find an answer. If I hear anything I'll pass along.
my 2 year old panasonic viera 42 inch plasma is doing that and powering off by itself after a warranty fix 6 months ago and the repair just as you said was as much as buying a new set, I sold it for parts for.
@havolia127 Sorry to hear you went through the same thing. Someone sent me a link to the part needed and I might give it a try. for about 60 bucks I can get it fixed, at least I hope. Thanks for commenting.
I have the exact same problem, just over two years old and about a month ago the screen started to turn red. Did you figure out how to fix it? or how to adjust the voltages on the y-main board?
@ArnChiste -No, I have not yet done anything with this. Bought a new set and this has been on the back burner. Someone posted a link to a part, I think I'll give it a try for about 60 bucks I might actually get it to work. Thanks for commenting.
