Oh wow. I hadn't thought of this for decades, but this brings it all back -- this thing freaked me OUT as a kid! That pointy little M mouth, the way it kept saying "mmm. MMMM. MMMMMMM!!!!!" And then it ate the screen at the end! Alphabet horror movies for preschoolers.
next time I'll invite a J, or a polite Q !! LOL... don't invite lower case "n's" either, they're lonely and sad. You could always invite a capital I though. He's very clean from being rubbed and scrubbed all the time you know !
Good point. I guess he should've left some food on one side of the table, and some more food on the other side of the table by saying to the "M", "the food on this side of the table is for me, and all this food on this side of the table is for you."
True, but maybe the guy figured the M would have had common sense or MANNERS and would already know that. Besides, he made a complete mess out of the table, too!
This was one of many segments done by the Hubleys. Does anyone have the one with a man talking about methods of transportation that start with S? Streetcar, Subway, Scooter, Skates, Skis, Sled...and then they all come at him until he yells, "STOP!"
Recent years of showing this skit had the M eating away the screen to reveal the next skit already in action instead of just a black screen; probably so it wouldn't scare the kids again.
