even though my fourwheeler is a 4wd it's fun getting stuck then seein a 2wd go past me, but.... it's very funny when they get cocky and try it again then get flooded.
i never drove 4wd 4 wheelers when i used to ride every weekend and ive had four 4wheelers, all 2wd. 2wd or 4wd on a 4wheeler dont make much difference but trucks, i only drive 4wheel drive trucks haha
589 are good in mudd terrible overall on trails. Mudlites are a better bal;ance.Personally i have had them both and like the GoodYear Mudrunners better :)

There is fairly new tire out called the Blackrock that is supposed to be good for lil mud and for the trail and rocks. They were tested on the outdoor channel. Fisher's ATV. I really like the 26" MudTrax. The MudGears are great too but are a bit heavy.
Thats okay pal. As long as you love riding. Just give it time and before you know it you will become even more comfortable on your atv and confident as to its limits. They are both good tires. The zillas are the lightest. The swamplites run taller. What type of riding do you do? Mud, trails, rocks??? The swamplites will wear out fast if you run on hard surfaces. Not sure how the zillas hold up.

@mudpimp yeah...you can tell a difference, i think the 28's have the same tread as 27's...definitely not the same as 29.5's. and i do believe that the 26's and 27's are the same.
the 2wd had tires on it. I have a 2wd rancher with 27 inch vampires it goes through more than my friends foreman 4wd with factories. I also have a foreman 4wd with 27 mudzillas an it crawl around my 2wd
If all other things are equal, just having a lighter rider can make the difference. I remember seeing a mudbog that was broken down by class and weight of the ATV. It was a pair of severteen years old chics who were tied for first place when several burly guys couldn't even finish the course.
You are right on with that. Lighter atv and lighter rider makes a huge difference... but it is still nice to give him crap about it and it is salt in the wounds when all your boy are watching. lol.

@redneckpunkmudder , those are actually 26" Outlaws. I was looking for some mudbugs several months ago for my teryx and couldnt find any. Had to settle with the Gators.

@dodgefreak20 , Yeah, I see what u r talking about. She's not an avid rider, so she was hard on the rev limiter. We have had a rebuild since then. My nephew sunk it a few months before this ride. I guess it was starting to wear more at that time.

even though my fourwheeler is a 4wd it's fun getting stuck then seein a 2wd go past me, but.... it's very funny when they get cocky and try it again then get flooded.

i never drove 4wd 4 wheelers when i used to ride every weekend and ive had four 4wheelers, all 2wd. 2wd or 4wd on a 4wheeler dont make much difference but trucks, i only drive 4wheel drive trucks haha

@redneck457, I love riding 2wd atv's. Sometimes 4wd is definitely needed. It's nice when a 2wd can show up a 4wd.

589 are good in mudd terrible overall on trails. Mudlites are a better bal;ance.Personally i have had them both and like the GoodYear Mudrunners better :)

I've had the goodyear mud runners too. They are a really good tire. They run small though. My 28's were not true to size.

As God as my witness, these r the same hole. What would make u think they r different. At 44 sec on the right of the screen there is a piece of wood laying across another with the right end up. At 1:08 & again at 1:28, youll see the same piece of wood. We sure didnt pick it up & carry to another place just to make it look like she went through the same hole someone else got stuck. These are both in front of the RR tracks. Theyre the same. Ask the guys that is stuck. His user name is mudpimp2

Well, the swamp lites are good tires, but they are a soft compound and they wear down faster than other tires. Not sure how well the zillas hold up.

There is fairly new tire out called the Blackrock that is supposed to be good for lil mud and for the trail and rocks. They were tested on the outdoor channel. Fisher's ATV. I really like the 26" MudTrax. The MudGears are great too but are a bit heavy.

Thats okay pal. As long as you love riding. Just give it time and before you know it you will become even more comfortable on your atv and confident as to its limits. They are both good tires. The zillas are the lightest. The swamplites run taller. What type of riding do you do? Mud, trails, rocks??? The swamplites will wear out fast if you run on hard surfaces. Not sure how the zillas hold up.

the 2wd had tires on it. I have a 2wd rancher with 27 inch vampires it goes through more than my friends foreman 4wd with factories. I also have a foreman 4wd with 27 mudzillas an it crawl around my 2wd

If all other things are equal, just having a lighter rider can make the difference. I remember seeing a mudbog that was broken down by class and weight of the ATV. It was a pair of severteen years old chics who were tied for first place when several burly guys couldn't even finish the course.

You are right on with that. Lighter atv and lighter rider makes a huge difference... but it is still nice to give him crap about it and it is salt in the wounds when all your boy are watching. lol.
