It's a bit slower on the PC than on PS2....I have the issue in which it goes at around 20% of the normal PS2 speed and i don't know how to fix it except for the SpeedHacks included in the PCSx2.Now my game goes at around 80 % of the regular speed but I still don't enjoy it because of that.It's rather annoying.

Hey Phrasz013, I have this game running great, but it freezes during the cutscene after i beat the giant ceasar guy. GSDX 1076m is the one you want, no ghosting or double images. I can run it with an internal res of 2560x1600 and it looks amazing. Just crashes after the first boss. I need a little more help on how to load my game on to a flash. You mean a flash drive? copy the iso to a flash drive and run it from that? Please Help, Ill do whatever it takes to get through this game.

Having a whole library at a double click is way more useful than storing hundreds of titles. Having a wireless controller is additionally more useful than having to be tied to a keyboard and mouse when precision is not needed.

sound is not good, but i suspect that is the cause of your screen recorder running with pcsx2

The actual issue was the feedback and railing due to speaker to mic recording, since Camstudio does not allow me to select the audio output as an option. however, you can select a mic (which was a male to male 1/8" jumper - speaker to mic).

Check the forums for PCSX2 ... they have better reccomendations than I can give, since I just played around with settings.

I do know that one of the video plugins is critical, but I haven't had this setup in forever. Also, I just got the collection for PS3 to beat then game finally :D.

I understand that Intel has more power than AMD this generation, but that has usually been the case. It's price point where AMD wins.

Show me the evidence as to the 9950 being bad, especially compared to an e2160.

Also, any credit you might have had went out the window when you said that a different setup will run an EMULATOR better. The simple fact is the system has more than enough power to give what the emulator needs. Simple tweaks to the config would do more for the game than any system

The PCSx2 is not even close to being a test, because it can rarely give the same results on different machines.

Run an actual benchmark suite.

Again a e2160 will not beat a phenom 9950 period. If you want to discuss over clocking the phenom can do it better.

I completely agree that the x2 6000 was junk, any single Intel duo would beat it hands down. Yet, like you said it was your mistake.

For the final say: leave it to the hardware...

Absolutely... when I encode, use media center, play a game all at one I usually pull 6 gbs of ram.

Then my Cpu usally only runs ~60%.

So I'm happy to know I can play Crysis on full spec (minus the filters) and do all my video work while he wife watches her DVR shows.

Use your own media. If you don't wish to run it from your disk drive I'd encourage you to create an iso for the game.

I showed how I at least own the game before continuing to use the iso.

You should be able to use the controller. If windows can recognize it as a joy pad, then PCSX II can map all the buttons to that controller.
