Yes, the Maverick is my Nerf weapon of choice. Great for house fly hunting. Hornets and wasps usually require all six shots to keep them down though.

Well, in our conversion... we put down lots of stuff that would keep the bullets from falling through.

take out the little plastic bits that hold the barrel in like that. Theres one on the back and front of the barrel. After that you can play rock, paper, scissors, roulette!
