  • @DeusUniversa10 The dislikes are because of the title. Yes 405 at 18 is impressive but "best form with most weight?" Not even close. First of all, he's doing low bar squats. Low bar is a lot easier to do once you get used to it, not to mention it looks ugly as fuck lol. Plus it doesn't even feel like a squat, more like a squat/goodmorning hybrid. Second is his depth, some reps were passable but a lot of them weren't even parallel. The title is simply overly cocky that's all.

    Try "slipping" with 405 pounds on top of your bodyweight driving you into the ground. Moving at all is difficult.

  • form can be greatly improved.  Fact is there are competing bodybuilders out there with legs 3-4 times the size using much less weight. How less weight, because of form.

    Absolutely not. I'm within 100 pounds of what he's lifting and my style is far more brutal on the eccentric phase. I've done horrible form squats with just under three plates where I literally rebound off the elasticity of my knees and to this day, nothing.

    His form is far better. On the contrary, I used to have back pain before I started squatting. I'm up to 300 for a couple reps and hope to someday be up in this guy's range. Kudos to the dude in the video!

    well not exactly. i do deadlifts and squats all the time without shoes and feet is fine. also all your leg power comes from the heels and how some sneakers are cut today there is too much leverage and cushion on the heels to keep balance and summon enough power from the heels to help push the work load. if your uncomfortable with wearing no shoes then get a pair of wrestling shoes cause they are completely flat and allow your heels to do the work too :)

  • Now THAT was a great set of full squats. Real deep & good form. I also like the old school barefoot style. That is a nice job for a young guy. He's not very big but he can sure squat. I see way too many videos here of guys doing 1/4 & 1/2 squats w/o any depth or guys loading up on easy leg presses.Real men do full squats. Nice job dude.

  • @awholeneweazy Olympic weightlifters HAVE to go ass to grass for a heavy c&j (hence the name Olympic Squat). Powerlifters barely break parallel to lift more weight and bodybuilders use steroids so they don't even care about proper range of motion; they can build muscle mass just fine with half-squats. As for PTs, they are a dime a dozen, like YOU; an arrogant and ignorant internet tough guy.

    Final Thought: As long as you can maintain lumbar/thoracic extension, then you can/should squat deep.

  • @awholeneweazy You FAILED to mention Oly lifters so I did. Parallel squatting is more beneficial than anything above parallel but since peoples' ego makes them misjudge the depth they go to, it is safer to just go for ass to grass.

    You wouldn't want to fuck someone in the ass and then they complain about you having a short dick when in fact you simply restrained yourself from going balls deep and hurting the anus.

    Final Thought: Be smart, go ass to grass, for strong, fuckable glutes.
