i have used comodo last year, it slowed down my pc to the point of frustration. Then i went back to AVG (what i am using now) i do not like the automatic cleanups that are cpu intensive, i am going back to comodo because it has updated it's self tremendously since last year and it is now rock solid.
I am using Comodo internet security premium, even Comodo's antivirus is awesome. Best of all its so light on system recourses its amazing. 5/5 thank you Comodo!
i had comodo and it was pretty good at the beginning..but then the pop up warning were non stop and annoying..then comodo blocked my internet without me knowing..so i switched to zonealarm :)
By the way I use win7 64bit and I'm not the only one who experiences this apparently it was pretty sharp in vista but anything looks sharp next to vista.
I wais I discovered this video before because comodo blows!!! It's ready to crash just about anything that it comes accross and will freeze your puter in a heartbeat!
Whenever i try to install anything COMODO, when it tells me to input my email right before installation it says Invalid email ID? but Ive put in over 5 different valid emails? help ?
comodo(Firewall) is good but many ppl want the freedom to at least surf the net without being interrupted non-stop to allow or not to allow certain programs to access u.
i use trend micro pc cillin internet sercruity, superantispyware, spybot s&d, adware, ccleaner and comodo firewall and i did have avast but it was confusing
Security Alert- Protect your PC by updated spyware and updated virus protection and firewall. Change your passwords on a regular basis, and use passwords that use at least 8 characters that mix numbers and both lower and upper case letters (harder to hack).
comodo is absolute garbage. who is stupid enough to spend hours fighting a crappy program that doesn't remember the settings. it'll fight to the death, with endless pop-ups even in the uninstall stages. total shitware!!!
when i first downloaded and install comodo, after ten seconds, I Gotten the blue screen of death. and had to uninstall it from safe mode cause i Gotten the blue screen again when booting my laptop. I dont know about zoomalarm but is there another free firewall that is safe and gives me no problems?
ZoneAlarm is awesome for beginners. Comodo is awesome for advanced users. You realy need to know what you are doing before you try out Comodo, or you will end up like all the many others; saying, "It sucks".
Hmm.... some people that doesn't know how to change the settings of Comodo. Well people in Wilders Security forums agree that the firewall is buggy, but it can be "tweaked" to your own preferences.
ZoneAlarm and Comodo are the top.Comodo is more annoying when you are doing basic stuff on your PC.ZoneAlarm alerts you when there really a suspicious behavior but hogs more memory. You is choose what meets your needs. I have been using ZoneAlarm for a pretty long while but I feel ZoneAlarm is better.
Astaro contain this: Netfilter, ClamAV, Openswan, strongSwan, and OpenVPN: I use ClamAV as an second antivirus (1 scan now and then, just to double check), I don't use stongSWAN AND Openswan since... And I don't need OpenVPN.
Yeah you have a pretty good protection there but you can do some what alot better spyware blaster its immunization do worst than good avg in my opinion suck and i have proved that to my self with a test.
Comodo sucks! I cant remove that it shows up in security center even though i removed it and used msconfig and deleted comodo registry keys. use zone alarm its terrrible!!
COMODO is now available for Vista people, and I tell you what...once you uninstall whatever crappy firewall you're currently using, download Comodo Firewall Pro and get it running, you'll see a HUGE difference in speed on your Vista system!
Comodo for Vista has been out for a couple of weeks or so now. I just downloaded it recently and as can be expected from Comodo, it ROCKS!
Run your Vista sidebar power clocks, uninstall your current firewall, download Comodo Firewall Pro, get it set up the way you want, and then look at those clocks again. See what a HUGE difference Comodo makes on your resources!
Lol..yeah, again, I agree. The free version of ZoneAlarm is just not secure! The paid version is even worse! ZA used to be good until about 5 years ago, then they just stopped listening to the customer!
Comodo Firewall Pro is FREE forever and the BEST firewall to date!
I've been running comodo ever since chris first mentioned it. And I've never had anything bad happen to me. The fact that it runs 10X better than a firewall that you'd pay for, is just superb. Another great thing about it is - it doesn't take up to much of the computers resources.
The system would only boot into safe mode, therefore preventing the Comodo software from running. Upon trying to remove Comodo it was so far busted that it would not uninstall, manual uninstall was required.

Ditch Mcafee it sucks worse than anything. Type in "Mcafee review" in Youtube and see what I mean (Its the first Link)
Get COMODO internet security 3.9. It has:
World-leading Firewall
Antivirus which detects over a million types of malware
Defense+ which protects you against ALL KNOWN AND UNKOWN Malware threats.
and its free for ever, updates three times (at least) a day and it detects a LOT more viruses than avira, avg, mcafee norton exc

Comodo Firewall is indeed an excellent software, but way too complicated for newbies.
I recommend Ashampoo Firewall (Free). :)

firewalls n anti virus software r bull. they cause more problems than solutions. just use a router
vahnx1337 3 years ago
while a router does help... it is a cure all. your post shows how unintelligent you are. you can't believe what geeksquad tells you lol.

I've been firewall and anti-virus free for a year, and believe me, they are pointless unless you download exe's from P2P and go to porn websites.
