Well I plug into this..when I was a young teen-ager in Fall River I would go to the Newport Folk Festival and Club 47 artists like Tom Rush would come & play...then a handful of times in the 70s I saw Allen Ginsberg do his poetry hootenanny at Passim's ...one memorable night Chaka Khan was thumping overhead somewhere during his act--Brattle Theater? Now I live in Berkeley with a parallel scene
