Actually not bad for a kid who was doubtless rised in a nice warm house and never had to sleep by campfire while on the lam from the National Poice. Flamenco is like the blues; you gotta experience it if you wanna play it. Lose a couple girlfriends and get your car towed away and you'll maybe get an idea of what duende is about. But all considered, good effort.

If he had a teacher he could stop by here and kick our ass at flamenco...he's a kid...how is he going to learn?From my opinion he's playing a perfect compass regarding tempo and time measure...but he can't play chords well..he's not even sitting properly.He has good tastes on choosing the bulerias version

hello little boy, good good, but bulerias without compas and aire is not bulerias anymore, you should follow the advice that was given to you in further comments, yes you have the potential to become a great tocaor but you'll have to learn everything from the beginnig, especially compas and lamenco technique. keep up the goode work

great job man, keep at it. very impressive for ur age, and considering the way you learned it. the compass was a tad faltering at times, but I'm sure your already aware of that.

thats the way its suposed to be learned, is by ear and sight! not tab and notation! Gerardo Nunez plays a GREAT bulerias for beginers (in his insturctional videos).

and you can tell he plays it even more simple in the video than its notated.

It is very impresive to play how you do soley through Jaun's books....it took me a long time to develop even the rudimentries through Juan, but do agree that a teacher is very useful for compass.....unfortunately we do not all live within a flamenco gypsy community. There are a plethora of people that play as well or 'better' than Juan martin, but to call him atrocious is ridiculous. Music isnt about ego.Are you enjoying your music?
