Thanks! The instrument is called a Dresden, I designed it and made it, after I gave up the baroque lute. It has thirteen strings tuned in D minor, same as a baroque lute. You could also tune it in regular guitar tuning.

This is a very beautiful piece i play it on the Baroque lute.you play very well.I have to say i hate alot of guitar playing it sounds quite cheesy but your playing is beautiful sounds more lute like do you play with nails?Thankyou very much would love to hear some Bach if you ever play some.All the best.

Thanks, Robinom. from a lute player I consider your comments a great praise. Yes I agree with you the 6 string guitar falls short in the peice as well as all peices bt Weiss. The 13 string guitar allows the freedom and sustain to come through. The 6 string guitar is far too choppy an doesn't flow well.

Have you seen Tatsuo Tabei playing it? Search for Tabei Weiss. The way he plays it (on 6 string) sounds great, doesn't seem to be choppy at all.

you are an exellent guitar player. this piece is so emotive, such a difficult style too. i'm trying to learn to play a weiss song too, sarabande suite de infidele. if you co7uld post a video of you playing that song it would be awsome
