  • What's the move at 1:50 called?

  • Impressive. I am stunned by her abilities

  • @mykalroze you support such casting anywhere else in the show bizzness why not for this film?you believe it's done only at this casting?the casting is organized by jews.not white people.white people are not the ones who make the decisions on any film in the western world.there is not one white person who can dictate the cast or any other part of the movie.the main decisions are made at all times by jewish people.

  • she had do great in resident evil 5

  • awesome.

  • Nice work on Star Wars: The Old Republic!

  • WOW!!

  • wow, very impressive

  • heroic ! wow she's great!

  • Jade Quon for Princess Azula, NOW!!!!!!

  • NA das war ja mal was wirklich gutes hier.

  • Awesome trick at 0:02.

  • there are really lots of talented asians.. they were good in sports,,dancing, acting, beautiful,,and recently very good in singing... they have v=big voices..i;m american but i find them interesting.. i wanted to see conservative movies too now..

  • i'm black but i really wanted asian cuz duuh!! i=the whole movie has to do with asians.

  • Jade, you have such dope moves! Great reel! Can't wait to see a more updated one! =D

  • wow. Does this mean she'll have to shave her head in order to duplicate Noah( or Aang)?

  • You are my FemHero. Wow.

  • 1:50 best move ever

  • Lol at the other comments. And that was badass. It must've taken years to get to that level of skill. Wish i could train enough to do that.

  • Also, can you name a movie at all where they have a white person play a black role?I don't see how Caucasians playing Asian roles is just as absurd, since both groups are of light skinned.

  • ali g inda house =P

  • LOL, Black actors in LOTR? I'd be interested to watch. If the author of LOTR was alive, he might be offended, but the creators of Avatar think more positively with their cast. It's so ironic since the creators aren't Asian at all, yet they use a type of Japanese animation style and borrowed a heavy amount of Asian culture in order to create an American kids cartoon. And fans accuse Paramount for whitewashing Avatar, even though it was created by white people. So much irony.

  • @Arisainwonderland

That is one example of race-bending.

LOTR was authentic to the mythos.

ATLA is "Hollywood diverse", White main cast with non-whites in the background.

Blade and Black Panther were superheroes created by white men. Does that mean the actors should be white?

  • The creators can make their characters any ethnicity they want. But the thing is ATLA has no asians or whites, since the setting is an entirely fictional world. The characters can look like anybody. And that's what the actors here are trying to portray, a race of people who don't even exist.

Now I'd rather not have this argument anymore, since its pretty disrespectful to have a debate here. Just wait till the movie comes out and then judge it as much as you want.

  • @Arisainwonderland

No Asian or Whites, but it was just a coincidence that the original main cast were white?

Then another coincidence that the background ended up being non-whtie?

You really buy into the Hollywood propaganda.

  • And i wasn't aware that Iroh and Zuko were'n't main characters. Oh wait they are... And from what I've seen of the Earthbenders they seem more Asian than the Firebenders now, but they're in there. Wait until the second movie. If they do it again, then feel free to complain.

  • But here's the thing. While the setting is Asian influenced the characters have no confirmed ethnicity. I am Asian myself, but if you actually look at the cartoon you'll notice that hardly any characters have accurate features of an Asian person. The eyes being the main difference. Noah Ringer has a closer resemblance to Aang than an Asian kid.

It's all about finding experienced people for the job, not skin color. Even if they do get Asians for the roles will it make a movie a big success?

  • @Arisainwonderland

    You are Asian?

In your argument, that would mean all Japanese anime must be made up of white characters.

Sounds like certain "bleach" fans. Japanese names and clothing, but the characters must be white, because they don't look Japanese.

  • I never said they were "white", anime characters are drawn with western features in order to look more flashy. Also in anime, a character's true ethnicity is not confirmed until the author states what it is. Bleach is an example of having interracial characters.

  • @Arisainwonderland

Anime characters are drawn more flashy in order to distinguish from other people. You can only draw faces a certain way. Large eyes are for innocence.

Search in youtube cosplay and you will many East Asians who look like anime characters.

Where you the only Asian in school? I can't believe all the inane rubbish you post.

  • Uh, that DOES happen, man.

  • I just want to know what skin color has to do with actually acting out the role. Because it has white cast members as the lead role, you want the movie to flop so bad? That is what we call racist. If this movie is so racists, then shouldn't the entire setting be completely non-Asian cultured? I'm not sure how correct your statement is, but for now I can only see it as an opinion. Can you give me a link to where you're getting your resource from?

  • You say the movie is racist for casting white people, but don't you think you're comment itself is pretty racist? You are discriminating the actors for their skin color, and not on their acting skills.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black

  • Great Reel... Keep up the good work

  • which name have the song?

  • Though she's Aang's sunt double, Wich I'm really excited about! For the second movie she should totally be cast as tai-lee! Jade looks like she would match tai-lee perfectly

  • I think I'm in love

  • i love u Jade, i hope to be as good as u one day...

  • Great Moves :3

  • UNSTOPABLE

  • Always been an inspiration to alot of people. Keep going keep going!!!

  • YOU ARE ONE OF MY IDOLS!!! btw i agree with most people you should try to play a main character in The Last Airbender.

  • GET'EM JADE!

  • It's the most amazing breathtaking view I've ever seen ^__^

  • Brilliant !! I seen her name in Resident Evil 5 Credits under Jill Valentine name... i think all motion captures in RE5 were done by her.... gr8 :-)

  • Well, we know that any acrobatic fight scenes, in Last Racebender, would be played by Jade Quon.

Would be nice if she would have a part rather than just a stunt double.

  • Wouldn't wanna get into a fight with her :| she'd kill me lol

  • Ella es increible, parece irrompible, ella es el doble del Avatar, por eso, ella sera quien le de la paliza al señor del fuego. jajaja...

  • Not at all. Stop trying to start things in this video's comments.

  • lawl! definitely!

  • This pretty damned amazing. Great work!

  • Awesome skills!! Very and talented and VERY beautiful!! Good luck with your career.

  • Why is she stunt doubling for Aang? She should be Azula, or Tai Lee, or Suki even.

  • Man she is amazing!! I think wanna marry her now.lol

  • I know Jade is going to play as Aang as a stuntwoman, but I get the feeling she'd make for an amazing Azula.

Beauty? Check. Martial Arts? Check. Acrobatic prowess? Check. Ability to do a chest-stand, air-flips, and (OH GOD YES) neck-snap with her legs? Check!

...Naturally, decisions have already been made, and she will serve as a Stuntwoman for the main character, but I get the feeling she'd get to be a PERFECT Azula.

  • Problem is though, she looks a little too old to play Azula, who is a teenager and Zuko's YOUNGER sister.

  • Music sounds like a didgeridoo. :D

  • Seriously Amazing!!!!

  • I dont mind most of the casting but the casting for ZUKO seriously bugs me. It's just so...off, completely. That is going to be the thing that bugs me about this movie the most. SMH.

  • OMg SHE is COLD omg LOVE HER!

  • The moment at 1:49 was tight!! It was awesome!!!!

  • I know! I saw that and my mouth just dropped. She is so flexible, so agile, so AMAZING! :D

  • Actually, she had to shave her head for the role since it would take too long to put on a cap for the duration of the shooting.

  • Holy crap!!!

  • I won't be watching this movie, sorry.

  • You don't have to be an "insider" to know what's going on.

  • Can people actually comment on the awesomeness that is this demo vid?

My reaction: "Whoa...dang, I don't want her mad at me!"

  • Mike and Bryan have nothing to do with this movie. That's the first problem.

Also, sometimes people are so "open minded" that their brains fall out. I know I have a firm grasp on what is REALLY going on.

  • Funny you mention TLOTRs bcz they are all European, where as Avatar is Asain. Don't you think it would have been a little odd to have Asians or people of African descent, in TLOTRs movies, cast in the main roles? Why shouldn't Avatar be the same? Asian fantasy world with Asian characters.

  • @WarInfiltr8r

You're saying that the real life Avatar shouldn't be Asian? Why is it "non-sense" to think that he would be Asian? He is!

  • That.... that was the most awesome thing I've seen in my entire life... O_o

  • Gladly. (:

  • That was great!! Your awsome...I like seeing talented people do great things in this industry keep it up...I had the great chance to see Ray Parks work on the set of G.I. Joe when I worked on it..that was a joy for me as an actor and a fan...but this right here was great..I think you might have Ray Park on this one...lol.

  • The irony of an asian woman, stunt doubling for a white kid in a role that should have been for an asian kid.... wow...

  • @MRCAB you forgot: in an american production from an indian man, based on a american cartoon in asian style...

  • @yelkasPURPLEsky I don't think I forgot any of that, so what's your point?

  • @MRCAB oô i just wanted to say... sorry

  • Great work

  • damn!!!

  • that was kick ass!!
