  • This was my Dad's Funeral song love you dad and miss you xxxx

  • amazing. elvis, best forever! <3

  • Comment removed

  • Comment aren't important for this song, this was a Elvis life, with problems, happiness, sadness, excitement, only one life, only one beautiful song.

  • amazing voice end words

  • They separated less than a year and a half after this song became a hit <3

  • She wasn't that broken up, she actually took him back to court trying to get more money, claiming that he wasn't truthful about his assets. It was a failed attempt. This is published information.. Elvis initiated a divorce because he found out that Priscilla was having an affair with her karate instructor. Facts are facts! I don't feel sorry for her at all. She changed her name back to Presley after he passed. As an EX wife she's done pretty well cashing in...... Just saying....

  • @supernaturalelvis hahaha after all the affairs he had! I can't blame her! Love Elvis but he would have broke anyones heart!

  • @delloliod u talk like elvis, is the only man in the world that ever did that??! can u blame him`? with all the woman around him all the time, beauty queens, far away from home all the time, he could have ANYONE? now im a woman, and even I UNDERSTAnd... She had affairs to, more than 3 persons have been counted, (THAT ARE KNOWN OF.)

  • @formakeuplovers hahaha no I know Elvis is not the "only man" that did that. In fact I know it so well that my father cheated on my mother numerous times and I have been cheated on in a very serious relationship so do not worry there.

I am in no ways taking sides. Love Elvis' music - never knew the person. Yes she did have an affair as well. All I am saying is I can hardly blame her. Having a husband that rich I would take him for all he's worth.

  • @formakeuplovers I personally would not have divorced him. No matter how many women he cheated with. I would've stuck it out. They obviously had chemistry and she was able to live in a mansion and have whatever she wanted. That would have been what I had done :) but I mean she had been dating him since she was like 14.... I think I would have been thinking about freedom myself...

  • @delloliod and he wouldn't have broken mine, cause just to be close to such an amazing man, would be enough.. to appreciate a wonderful human being, i would forgive and forget, have you've never heard the song, stand by your man ?

  • elvis,this was your best girl(Cilla) ever!

    xxx

  • so sad - they both loved each other - just couldn't live together anymore. It happens.

  • This song is very similar to "Living In a House Divided," by Cher. The songs were released less than 2 years apart, and both were Top 40 hits that describe the struggles of the two supercouples just before they split up. Both couples were together about 10 years, and both Sonny & Elvis were 10 years older than their wives.

  • Elvis divorced Priscilla not the other way around.

  • @supernaturalelvis elvis divorced cilla for security reasons they both agreed to the divorce which i believe was heartbreaking to them both when you pictures of them leaving the court holding hands that says how much they loved each other i believe if elvis had lived they would have reunited i would loved to have seen that

  • One of The King's best songs.

  • His biggest blunder was to married her!!! What a waste!

  • @Tuckas41

you're right. I think it was the biggest mistake elvis ever made. When she left him, he was very sad and I think he was bored to live, because he lost his mother and priscilla and went away from the world.

    R.I.P Elvis

  • Thank God for digital remastering, RCA issued awful sounding Elvis 45's. I have an import cppy of Don"t Cry Daddy pressed in the U.K. that has far superier sound. Now, this song takes on new life.

  • great song and photos !! we will never find out the truth, if she really loved him or not...i' m sure she admired him as a singer...anyway she was a very beautifula woman and he was one of the most handsome men on this planet....unique!!!

  • dear.......i have lost you...........

  • dear.......i have lost you...........i am sorry

  • This great song reached #32 on the Billboard chart, but hit #18 on the Cash Box chart! Definitely one of the 5 best songs of Elvis' last 10 years.

  • this song is true me and ex just have sex but there is no love there anymore .needless to say i lost her

  • do you know , i found this song recently, and i have to admit its a cracker, i would put it up there with his best. excellent vidio excellent tune, excellent words, and what a voice. 10 out of 10 for this posting

  • Though I was saddened by the fact that Priscilla left Elvis, I do understand why. All his women eventually left him...couldn't take the lifestyle. Priscilla has kept the name of Elvis in the spotlight and has promoted Graceland and kept it open for fans. For that I give her great credit. Especially since Lisa doesn't want to be in the limelight....Priscilla was the next possible choice. Thanks Priscilla

  • @swobet Priscilla kept the Presley name to benefit herself only - she didnt want him or the lifestyle but she darn sure kept the name...

  • @deaustin777 cilla is Zilla n a peice a shit!

  • Comment removed

  • @deaustin777 that's true!

  • photo on 2:28 is on the u.s.s. arizona memorial E helped raise money for its construction with concerts in the late 50's i think.

    WadeElvisMan

  • Una satisfaccion verle feliz en ESA epoca.

Fue el mas grande y que solo....

    Sus fans le adoramos

    VIVA ELVIS THE KING

  • makes you want to cry awesome video clips

  • This is one of the greatest half dozen performances Elvis recorded in the studio. Unimaginably brilliant vocal coupled with a beatiful arrangement. If he'd only ever recorded this one song, I'd have been a lifetime fan.

  • One of the best songs ever!!! Thanks Elvis and God bless you...

  • really good song...the words r good yet sad at same time

  • HOGEFAN- thank youu

been trying to remember the name for ages lol

  • Wow, I had no idea that Elvis had covered this--and had a hit with it (!)--I only knew Ian Matthews' recording.

  • Perfection.

  • Yeah there really isn't any doubt that Elvis was the King. Not many people can get away with having an oboe play the lead in a song such as this. He was truly one of a kind and his band was superb.

  • yes ELVIS we've lost you but we still love you r.i.p happy thanksgiving.YOUR STILL THE KING

  • His fame cost him his marriage. I think that he was happiest when he drove a truck. Long live the KING!

  • @jimihenrydrix no he was happiest when his mother was alive and saddest when she died and he couldn't pay her back for the sacrifices she made!

  • Yes, that too was a problem for him. He also lost a twin brother he never knew, this also hurt him deeply. I think many of his disappointments in life actually made him a better singer . No question, there will never be another quite like him.

  • Yes, I don't think he ever got over the loss of his mother. The world will never see the likes of a man like this again, such a loss

  • i dont understand why this piece of history is hardly played in the radio

  • Yes, I so agree with Rohair447. One of the most beautiful tunes of all Elvis songs, and the words are so truthful and moving.

  • My favorite song. I love all the songs, but I´ve Lost You is my favorite.

  • @rodrigolopes93 Every time I hear this song, I get goosebumps. But it's a hard song for me to listen to because of the sadness.

  • the king of music forever!!!!

  • This goes out to the lady whom Im still in love with but she says we cant be together anymore,I love you my brown eyed girl.

  • i love elvis (L)

and i have been triying for ages to find a song by him were he is sat on the edge of a hospital bed singing about some one in the bed or something like that, if any one knows what its name is can you please write back on here please thankyouuu x

  • That was :The twelfth of never

  • @TheJpcookie You're thinking of "Softly, As I Leave You". You can get this on the 70's boxed set. You can also listen to it on Youtube.

  • well elvis has always been one of my favorite singer .. but as what i heard they both cheated ...maybe she have tried to help him .. but thats the way it goes .. elvis is still my favorite singer

  • Elvis will always be my favourite too...he was one in a million

  • i think priscilla threw away the best ... elvis

  • I have to say I felt sorry for her having to put up with his cheating and drugs and all night parties...Don't get me wrong I'm a BIG Elvis fan but I wouldn't put up with that life style either with a child.

  • ..and who's the fool now?! :)

  • One of his best! Love Elvis he is still amazing when you hear him sing!

  • One of my favorite songs.

  • Sweet and sour like many of Elvis songs but ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Great and sad pics and his voice... amazing and from the heart! Thanks!

  • Beautiful but sad great pictures too

  • my son loves this song, just like his dad... elvis songs are like lullabies for my 3 sons

  • Great song by the greatest singer of all time!!!

  • So many of Elvis songs bring a tear when listening to them. No one sang like him . It seems like yesterday that he was still here, where has the time gone. Forever Elvis.

  • what a wonderful and true message by the greatest of all musicians the 20th century has ever had... When i hear songs like this from Elvis, i know that they are straight from his heart. Today so many so called Musicians sing about hurting Hearts and Souls, but we all know that this is just commercialising peoples emotions... Elvis was the one and only who truely sang about him self...

  • @realconcept3 I agree Elvis sang with pure emotions and feelings! There will never be another Elvis!

  • @realconcept3 exactly all these singers have their songs written for them and then just yell it basically. This here is real music straight from the soul.

  • wonderful song..haha it was recorded on 4th June,my birthday :)

    Congratulations for the video,it's awsome

  • well, happy birthday then ;)

  • thank you :)

  • ´The music of Elvis is not only music...it´s a way of life! He is unique and will never be forget!!!That is for sure

  • wonderful!!!!THE KING IN MUSIC!!

  • is bealtiful song

  • Can anybody send me the studio version of this song? All I have is a Live version but I want the version from the video..

Thank you very much! I really appreciate the help!

  • Elvis is just the king. HE is the best performer, singer, and musician ever.

  • elvis is the king of rock and will b

  • A fantastic song and not lessened by the fact that Elvis got the chorus wrong in the film TTWII. Let's face it, we were listening to his voice not the lyrics.

  • Love the hobo instrument ... such a beautiful detail in this beautiful song ... thanks

  • its an oboe lol or did u mean to say that?

  • Thax Jackie this is so sad. Elvis was the most beautiful person I ever knew inside and out! It broke him thou.. it did, When he lost his family; he died inside little by little! There isn';t anything more profoundly painful then when you wake up and no-one is there!

While he had the whole World he lost his family!

  • well said but o so right

  • Elvis sang Ive Lost You in the 1970 documentary Elvis-Thats The Way It is. It is available on Forgotten Songs of the 70s, Walk a Mile In My Shoes-The Essential 70s Masters, The Way It Was, The Way It Is, Artist of the Century, Heart and Soul, The Other Sides: World Wide Gold Award Hits, and The 50 Greatest Love Songs.

  • Written by Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley. Elvis recorded is on June 4, 1970 at RCAs Nashville studios. The single release had a 9-week stay on Billboards Hot 100 chart, peaking at #32. It reached #57 on the Country Chart, and #5 on the Easy-Listening Chart. Sales exceeded one million copies. It was the A-side to The Next Step Is Love.

  • Elvis sings this with such passion!

  • Such a sad and beautiful song!

  • This is such a very terrific and underrated song. This is easily my most favorite version of this song because Elvis included the absolutely complete lyrics in it. Elvis always left out some of the lyrics of this song in his concert versions. I loved this video a whole lot, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
