heres a use for everstones: if you have a pokemon that evolves by trade you give it an everstone when you trade so no one will steal the pokemon evolved they will have to take the everstone off and trade it again to get it then you get the pokemon

I guess for me the only reason that silver took awhile was becuase even at my 3rd time playing it I still talk to everyone, go in everyhouse, complete my pokedex everytime, listen to the awesome music, and appreciate the hardcore nastalgia, I still wish this world was real. this is the only pokemon game I have played and will ever play.

you can only get that "forest protecter" 2 ways...in Japan. either bring a special event pokeball to the shrine, or purify all the shadow pokemon (every single ONE including the dragonite) in pokemon XD gale of darkness (maybe colleseum) in the USA theres only 1 way and thats the second

Then I bought heart gold and relived the experience all over, but this rival fight was the only battle in the entire game that I EVER lost.
