Both sides have a point about the issue regarding unemployment, but I agree with the democrats this time because I hate to see families suffer for mistakes made by bad politics. I think maybe unemployment should have a limit to 120 weeks or less. People have to survive in this economy is a valid argument. We can't abandon everyone on unemployment because we see what is happening in Libya. Finding a job is extremely hard today and will be for a long time.

The latest news is that only Senator Schumer and Stabenow have mentioned that there is legislation being worked on for 99ers, but no time table on when the bill will be introduced. Plus isn't Congress going on summer break? That means if this is ever going to happen, it will happen around the fall. Strangely, didn't hear about this interview with Congressman Cummings until yesterday. Hmm?

Dakota: first you can't collect unemployment insurance if you get fired or quit. You collect when you lose your job thru no fault of your own! Also, every person that receives unemployment has to pay federal & states taxes out of the unemployment money they receive.
