I was there that weekend i think its the wetaher that makes a MASSIVE difference with glastonbury festival that weekend the weather was unbelievably hot all 5 days people were getting sunstroke and dehydration you couldent sit out for too long it was so hot. Now 2011 just looked terrible cos it rained a lot and when it rains there the whole site gets turned into a boggy mess making it near impossible to get around the site. Eavis needs to sort this out for 2012 or he is just a grabbing farmer.

Nice video that captures Wednesday morning just after the gates opened. The wandering band are The Weavils based in the Croissant Neuf Field. That's me playing guitar with the weird portable sound system. We did our best to entertain the early arrivals so that it wouldn't be boring as hell!!

Best band/music i ever saw at Glasters was Techno Animal in 2002 or 3 in the dance tent. The audience left in droves.

It's still a top weekend but unfortunately it doesn't cater for harder darker music. You won't or barely find any metal there. Lots of crowd pleasing wank, music for trendy types, hippies, grown ups, blah blah blah.

Still wish i went now, weather hasn't been that good for week for fucking years.
