@ricardonobregaX I would go with either the the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. MacBook pro if you need more speed, macbook air if you do light video editing and pictures. BTW they discontinued the MacBook

I don't think it will really piss somebody off, the facetime camera is smaller than the one in Iphone 4, so it'd a really tech thing. I mean look at the air, it could be without a camera, it would still a desirable product

It's a stock model, you can just go into the nearest Apple store and buy it. If he wanted to configure it (with the i7 chip or a 256GB SSD) he would have had to wait for it to ship.

I think the macbook air is kinda pointless, i mean yeah its cool and all, but pretty damn inneficient. For instance, only to usb ports? I use up more than five sometimes, its fragile, and has an anoyingly small screen. I appreciate its power but i just dont see the point. Peace

If you are using 5 usb ports then that means that only mac pro meets your needs for usb from the apple line. Most laptop these days have "two" usb ports. Actually I don't even need "two" usb ports at all.

Now of course thats why apple got rid of the white macbook. If you want a small simple laptop, go for the air, but if you want a power laptop go for the pro.

I have a question regarding these processors. They are "ultra low power" and have a TDP of 17W, while the normal Core i5, i7 processors used in MBP are "standard power" at a TDP of 35W. However, glancing at the specs on wikipedia (i5-2467M vs i5-2410M) the only difference that I see is the clock speed. Is that truly the only difference? That alone is the 18W TDP difference?

@Neverdyne i think they are binned and the ones who run at lower volts ultimately become the lower tdp ones.....but both those processors are probably the same performance wise if they are at the same clock speed

Okay video but i really think you need to stop over-editing. Unboxing videos are about the experience of opening the box. You don't share that experience. The scene jumps are very frustrating. I think a lot of people would prefer a raw or lightly edited video. I know a lot of people don't mind (and even like) seeing you take the stuff out of the box. Hence the name unboxing. Well i hope you read this... Keep up the good reviews!
