12.8 in the 1/4??? How did that get passed editing? Best this car will do stock in the 1/4 is 13.4, which is still really good I think, but lets keep it 100. You need mods to break into 12s.

@stevehammes The interior is way better in Holden's sports division, HSV. Look at the interior of the HSV E-Series 3 GTS.

Actually an improvement on the Holden Commodore on which it is based.

It was selling well when the big bosses in Detroit decided to drop the Pontiac brand.

The G8 was considered a successor to the Pontiac GTO line.

This car could have saved Pontiac!!!

General Motors Holden in Australia is doing a lot of the design and development work for medium to large RWD cars for GM worldwide. Holden performance models are sold as Vauxhalls in the UK

I'm calling B.S. on that quarter mile. I think all G8 owners know this. (I own one myself) A STOCK G8 GT is looking at running a 13.4-13.7 in the quarter mile.

Steve, why did you call the blaupunkt headunit just too weird? I happen to find it very intuitive and the sound system (11 speakers you could have mentioned) is pretty amazing for a factory unit. I love my G8 GT and with the addition of a 10 sub it now has an insane all around package.

It will do the times it's says with a good tire.. I ran 13.1 with a stock tire.. And the camaro ss is the same engin different cam and alot heavier...

lol wow dude you sound like you have no idea what your talking about. have you ever changed all the settingings on Radio? It works alot better after you change that bud. Also all you need to do for the Navigation is go to your local Car audio installer and they can make the screen have navigation.
