Yeah i think some people like this for no reason at all, this was plain OK.

It was pain until i figured out what it was about towards the end then i understood, otherwise it was just confusing. I don't believe half of the people that watched this even get the point and cave into hype. Hyped Anime is like Star Wars where anything Star Wars will sell and people will buzz about it even though there is nothing appealing about it but the name.

In other words people are easily led on....

@0428733 Funny thing, I got into this show AFTER the hype. For some strange reason, I was just drawn to it. When I think about it, it's not just the show itself, but everything that comes with it. The characters, the songs, the novels, the fanfiction/doujin, how the story is told, the tension between Haruhi and Kyon(it's only a matter of time), and more. Everything just kinda added up so the series seemed incredible, even if the story itself isn't the best ever.

Everyone seems to comment about how Haruhi is a "bitch" or about Mikuru's boobs or whatever... Nobody seems to acknowledge how good a show and opening this is. So shut up about hating Haruhi. Sure, she's an evil battleaxe of a person, but she's a very good character. Why does nobody get that?
