Your schools, police departments, and fire departments are run by your state and local government. So are most welfare and social programs. The social security trust fund has been raided. The money is not there. Ron Paul is running for president, not your mayor or governor. As president he wishes to return control (and your money) to you and your state, not tax you and hold your state hostage untill they meet certain 'requirements'.

The are young and inexperienced and don't know much about American history. Assuming he were to be elected, he would very well get shot like JFK, Martin Lurher King, Bobby Kennedy.
