  • @dcviper985 correcting him on the fact that it's a show and not a movie is rather pointless when he clearly doesn't know the name of the show and you won't give it.

  • @AdmiralSkippy The name is in the description. I'd say that makes dcviper985 about as helpful as can be.

  • Amazing.. If there were presidential candidates like this, I'd have no problem voting. I don't think I've ever seen this movie, was this the only scene that was actually enjoyable?

  • @xXWraithSoldierXx It's from a television show that ran on NBC for something like 7 seasons in the early 2000s. I do believe the DVDs are available for purchase, dunno about Netflix/hulu availablity.

  • @dcviper985 Oh.. Well that's even better. Thank you, Viper. ;)

  • I'd vote for him.

  • 2:24 I came

  • I love r/atheism:

"When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing them. Should I smite them?"

    or

"Leviticus 25:44 that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?"

From a message to Laura Schlesinger.

  • I love this man.

  • Ghandi wouldve sat, that could be interesting..

  • @DomRose1973 buuuuut Ghandi is Ghandi.

    xD

  • @Kaalec The many thousands of deaths that can be attributed to Christianity is a drop in the bucket when compared to the ability of Atheist leaders to kill tens of millions (each) in just a little over a half century. All the great butchers have been atheist. Hitler, Stalin, pol pot, Mao ZeDong, Napoleon, Ceacescque . . . And many more.

  • @youngoldbones But that had nothing to do about they being ateist. It is jus aful people doing awful stuff.

  • @AndysamBlack Their lack of belief in ultimate justice certainly didn't hinder their evil proclivities. It's easy to be a killer when you're an atheist. There's no moral imperatives that come from outside your own desire to enact your will upon others. .

  • @AndysamBlack The facts speak for themselves. Atheists have caused more death and destruction in the world than any Christian ever has. Atheists began this discussion by suggesting that Christianity is responsible for religious wars and other destructive events. However when the historical record is examined, we find that atheists have caused more death, wars and genocides than any crusadrer had ever wrought.

  • @youngoldbones

Supply a source for this before you go on stating thoughts as fact you crazy lunatic.

  • @Schroomer87 Oh you mean like Hitler? Who was an atheist, Napoleon who was an atheist. Mao, atheist, Stalin, ATHEIST! In fact ALL of the Modern warlords who have wrought mayhem, slaughter and MURDER on the populace of the world in the 19th and 20th centuries can ACCURATELY be described as, you guessed it. ATHEIST! Chew on that ignorant reprobate.

  • @youngoldbones im sorry but hitler was most definitely not an atheist, he refers to the aryan race as god's chosen people in "mein Kampf", he also mentions a creator, so now whos the "ignorant reprobate".

  • @youngoldbones awwww so cute =3 everyone look at the cute little idiot troll

  • @Schroomer87 Direct quote of Adolf Hitler regarding Christianity, and these are just a few declamations against Christianity that he'd made throughout his reign:

National Socialism and religion cannot exist together....

"The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.

  • @Schroomer87 Now I suggest you study up, reprobate, the facts elude you. I know the facts about what Darwin and evolution and Eugenics have wrought upon this earth and what they are LIKELY to bring about one day IF certain people can have their way with governments and rights to procreation. Why do you think China has gone along with the one-child plan? Eugenical plans have been drafted and are prepared for implementation. Hitler was a mere taste, care to bring on the entire banquet?

  • @youngoldbones

Some of the things you're writing, Im having troubles understanding. Not because of the language or the grammar, but the meaning of it. Are you saying that the teaching of darwin and evolution will bring nothing but evil to mankind? Because if you are, then I find it hard even discussing simple things with you. Regarding number of people killed in name of religion. Think outside the box, will you? Wars from atheists might've killed what? 100 million people?

  • @youngoldbones

How many people do you think has been killed in every day scenarios, just because some stupid book says that they have "sinned"? Do you realize what a shitty life the people in the middle east are living, mainly the women, because of the religion ?

Religion is nothing but a fairy tale. If someone were to say that they had communicated with god, Id take them as seriously as some guy claiming to have made contact of the third kind (UFO's).

  • BTW, Martin Sheen sucks. He could never get elected president.

  • What is this episode called?

  • @hulllewis0817 The episode is called "the midterms". It's from season 2, third episode if I can remember correctly.

  • Respond to this video... I don't know why I said season 2; it's from season 3. Sorry about the misinformation.

  • very cool

  • Other famous atheists, Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Jong IL, nice fellas all!

  • @tinyflyonthewall hitler wasn't atheist

  • @dimakauffman Yes indeed he was. EDUCATE YOURSELF before you make assertions that you can't back up. I find it very trying dealing with ignorant people, such as yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @dimakauffman He was atheist. Hitler considered the STATE to be God. He wasn't above USING the religious beliefs of OTHERS to motivate people to his own ends. I've READ Goebbels diaries where he talks about Hitlers beliefs and non-belief. In this book it is CLEAR that Hitler planned to take out all religion and replace it with worship of the state, moreover HIMSELF and his ideal of the master race. Hey dimkopf! if you need convincing, listen to "Adolph Hitler a Theist? " by orbis2009

  • @youngoldbones you believe in God i think. i assume by the tone of your words you are a christian defending like a true soldier your faith implying that atheism is pernicious to humanity and produces monsters and killers. do you believe in the Bible as God's Word? only assumptions please let me know if i'm right or wrong THX.

  • @youngoldbones sorry the comment wasn't meant for you. my mistake

  • @youngoldbones Hmm, that's probably not strictly accurate ... there is a lot of evidence pointing to Hitler being a theist, and of that a Christian theist ...

  • @pubuman NOooo Hitler manipulated the German and Austrian people with theistic ramblings and inferrences BECAUSE that is how best to gain control of a group of people, sucker them into thinking you have their belief system. Here is one of Hitlers MILDER refutations of Christianity.

    19th October, 1941,

"The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity."

  • @pubuman Get educated! Anyone who has made a charater study of Hitler KNOW that he had NO belief in God and an utter contempt for the Abrahamic God. Get lost ameteur, study Nazi History and learn about Hitler BEFORE you open your ignorant mouth!

  • @youngoldbones Why are you arguing about Hitler's religious beliefs or lack thereof? He murdered millions of people, started a war that killed tens of millions. Hitler was an insane meglomaniac and would have been as a theist or an atheist. You don't need Hitler to prove that atrocities have been committed by Christians. Richard the Lionheart killed thousands of Saracen, (Moslem) prisoners and inhabitants of captured cities in the name of Christ. There are many more, with or without Hitler.

  • Anyone interpreting this as an attack on Christianity would be wrong. Bartlet is shown as a devout Catholic and trained as a priest, the reason he didn't is quoted as "I met Abbey". He does conflict with his faith but it plays a huge part of his life though he does not allow it to interfere with politics believing church and state to be seperate. This is actually him challenging extreme views and interpretations (i agree). He was also annoyed she had no respect for the Office of the President.

  • @starfleetintell There is also another episode of The West Wing where Bartlet is talking to the Republican candidate (Villnick, I think he was called) who, contrary to what we see in reality, he is an Atheist.

When asked about his religious views, this imaginary Republican candidate gives one of the most amazing responses regarding the separation of Church and State since JFK addressed the Houston Ministers' Conference.

  • Aaron Sorkin is amazing

  • At the end of the day, Jesus consolidated ALL the laws/commandments into two rules, "love your God" and "love your neighbour as yourself." the Bible doesnt specifically talk about homosexuality, neither about masturbation so on and so on.

the only reason they are against it (and against adultery etc etc) is because in a passage it says that the holy spirit dwells in them etc and so it should be holy. this is what they should aim for that is, yet they know they are bound to fall short

  • 2:20

  • What a brilliantly written, acted and directed scene.

  • "monthly meeting of the ignorant tight-ass club". wonder if they send out newsletters. LOL.

  • BOOM! Does anybody know where I can find a transcript of this for future play auditions at my school?

  • @justifiabletruth

And of course, YOU have "research(ed) the scriptures in their entirety" and interpret them correctly because YOU can accurately "consider the nature of God"! You Loon!!!!!

  • I wish a president truly could pull this off.

  • shit! they left out the part where sam walks up and swipes one of her crab puffs. pwned!

  • My reply can be summed up in one word.

    "Owned" :)

  • LOVELY, FUCK YES.

  • Wouldn't mind seeing this scene autotuned and/or remix'd

  • This video is quite funny and sad at the same time. A mature Christian would easily counter Sheen's arguments by quoting the New Testament and actually giving Scripture in the correct context. In an effort to try and demonstrate that Christians cherrypick and don't follow Scripture, they've done the opposite. They've demonstrated that they're the ones that cherrypick. Quite ironic actually.

  • @abc1000001 -- Well put. Without understanding the nature of God one can easily misinterpret scripture. The general anti-Christian populous is unwilling to research the scriptures in their entirety and interpret them considering the nature of God. Without knowledge of God and Holiness, this show has indeed 'done unto itself' what it was desiring to do unto Christianity. The lack of knowledge of God is what is truly sad here.

  • @justifiabletruth Hey thanks, God bless you. I've already had someone who stated that he is agnostic and would not take the time to read the Bible as it would take a long time. Proved my point exactly because his criticisms were not based on truth but rather his bias. If one will not take the time, how can one possibly participate in this discussion if one is just going to crticize Christians?

  • @justifiabletruth

How have you researched the scriptures?

Have you read alternative holy texts as well, just to make sure you've read the right one? Have you dabbled in Wicca or Buddhism, just to be sure? Have you researched Zeus or the flying spaghetti monster?

  • @abc1000001 How exactly have they cherrypicked?

How exactly would the New Testament help the case?

  • He might also have pointed out to Dr Jacobs that when she is in church the bible says she should keep quiet i.e shut up.Only men are allowed to speak in church. It's that crazy.

  • This scene gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it. :)

  • I have not read all of the comments, so I do not know if someone has addressed this - but the context of this scene is important. During the episode, everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the shooting. Toby is on the warpath and frustrated by the inability of the gov't to do anything. Bartlett is frustrated too - as he tells Toby that they witnessed an attempted lynching of Charlie... Bartlett is attacking a radio host that he sees as a source of encouragement for bigoted behavior.

  • Many of the condemnations Bartlet refers to AREN'T ceremonial; his list intentionally referenced a combination of ceremonial and moral rules. In fact, some of the things he cites were specifically denoted "abominations," which was NOT a moral term but rather a ceremonial one. And if it WAS meant as a moral rule...so were the others.

  • I don't believe he's bashing the Bible or bashing Christianity.

He's bashing obscurantism and extremisms !

And he's damn right about it.

  • @andy4c Pardon, but I take issue with your last paragraph. I do not find Jed Bartlett to be pompous, nor is he scolding someone for not "knowing White House protocol." He is skewering someone for not showing the Office of The President of The United States it's due respect by standing. You don't have to like the man, but you WILL respect the office he holds.

Furthermore, his tirade isn't ignorant. He points out that Scripture is 1700~2500 years old and should be interpreted not taken literally

  • @devonbain A humble response would be to tell the person respectfully that there's a rule to be followed. What the Bartlett character did was to dress her down in an intentionally demeaning way.

That is not humility, but rather arrogance.

Try to imagine any real president doing that. They most likely all have the dignity to not lord it over others. In a real-life circumstance I would imagine someone would have had the job of either informing the visitors of the protocol, or nudging the person.

  • @andy4c But dressing down (attacking) is *exactly* what the "doctor" did to her callers. Jeb was giving her a taste of her own medicine. This character was modeled after radio personality Dr. Laura. At the time this episode aired, she was horrible to callers whom she thought didn't abide by HER moral code. In Dr. Laura's defense, I will say that since she is back on the airwaves on Sirius, she has REALLY gotten rid the venom and doesn't attack callers ... but that wasn't always the case.

  • @devonbain His tirade is, in fact, ignorant -- of the fact that he is citing civil and ceremonial laws (which scripture clearly explains were done away with by Jesus), and that those laws are different from moral laws (which God is clear about being for all people of all time). So these examples given are not relevant, and any actual talk show host who had been discussing the Bible for years would have known this and would have been able to bring this up for the President.

  • @devonbain

Also, the age of any document is not a measure of it's reliability or truth. 2500 years from now it will still be as valid. Not everyone accepts that validity, but age does not change it. :)

Thanks for your comment. Take care.

  • @andy4c Age doesn't matter then?

  • That was fucking epic. And so beautiful to point out that Christians are such bigoted hypocrites.

  • I never watched this during first run.

My wife and I are now in season 2.

Consistent top-notch writing, and great acting.

  • How convenient that the writers chose a target that is not aware of the simple fact that there is a difference between civil and ceremonial laws in the Old Testament and moral law. Most Christians know the difference. Somehow this talk show host is caught off-guard.

And how fascinating that writers who wanted to attack Christianity made their "hero" so blatantly pompous, scolding someone for not knowing White house protocol, and praising himself after his ignorant tirade.

  • @KozmoLouie

Get a life Malinche. As if saying something makes it so...........You blocked me and deleted my posts, well backatcha stupido!

  • Four words: Martin Sheen for President :)

  • I swear to God I have never seen a single episode of West Wing, But I can't tell you how many times I've seen this!

    This scene is beyond epic!!!!

  • @SickBoyZap5 : You'd also like the 1st scene of the 1st episode....his entrence is EPIC....up there with the best of Shakespere.

  • This, my friends, is the most epic pwnage I have ever seen.

  • This is and always will be my favorite moment on The West Wing. It's just...it's so beautiful...

  • Comment removed

  • Do you think this is "bashing" the Bible? I think the man is correctly quoting the Bible. He's pointing out the hypocrisy in the text yes...but bashing....I think not.

  • Comment removed

  • @jcurrysan I agree, In your point of view, especially if you are not religious, it may not count as "bashing" the Bible, for others who believe in the faith, it may be.

Anybody can quote anything and interpret it differently. Yet theres a fine line between pointing out what you think, and bashing.

  • Why is this not enough to straighten up any fundamentalist?

  • 1. Stand the hell up.

    2. Find the nearest door.

    3. Get the F**k out.

    4. Find a big rock and crawl under it.

    5. Curse your mother for giving birth to you...for you have just been OWNED by the President.

    6. Game OVER!

  • true that she ws very owned twice in 2 minute actualy

  • Fuck yeah! I mean seriously -- the leader of the free world hates your guts. That's gotta sting.

  • My favourite scene!!!

  • I wonder if anyone who so brutally demolished an anti-gay position could ever be elected to office in the US. Here, in order to keep the general populace happy, you can barely get away with talking about the rights of homosexuals, let alone call homophobes ignorant tightasses...

  • SCHOOLED!!! LOVED THIS!

  • YEAH, LADY!!!!

  • BOOM BABY!

  • i wish we have president like that....

  • Pwn'd her ass. Fucking ignorant tight ass. :3

    I can't stand cherry pickers.

  • He picked out things that we don't go by now to a non-doctor who was a bitch enough not to stand for her President and called her on both. And go back to freaking kindertaren to learn how to spell YOU DUMBASS

  • "This new heethen you demacrats are sending to washington, at least hes honest when he makes fun of the church as a Muslim"

    Obama's not a muslim, dude.

  • shanedevins,

    A) the producers of the show wrote this, not Martin Sheen

    B) Why on Earth should he apologize for simply relaying what the bible clearly states. His point in this was that why should people be able to pick and choose (cherry pick) what they want to listen to out of the bible, and not listen to other things. Why should someone claim that homosexuality is an abomination, but not claim that it is an abomination (as the bible clearly states) to do all of the stuff that Sheen listed?

  • shanedevens,

It is called spell check. Look into it.

  • D*MN. Take that Christian jihad.

  • It's like watching a slow-motion BITCH SLAP...

  • Does anybody know what he meas when he says at the end "...that's how I beat him"?

  • Earlier in the episode Toby asks the President how he beat a former debater.

  • it's referring to somthing earlier in the episode. i can't remember quite what.

  • Just what Ep is this from?

  • oh.....SNAP!

  • The Bible is the only bitch.

  • BITCH GOT PWNED!!!!

  • PWNED!!

  • As a practicing catholic can I just say:

    RIGHT FREAKING ON!!

I am sick of these fundamentalist bastards abusing my religion to further their bigoted ideology.

My God does *NOT* preach hate

  • I'm not very religious, but...well-said. Very well-said indeed :]

  • I would love to see a debate between President Bartlet & George Bush. Talk about getting pwned.

  • Pwned

  • that was really fuckin satisfying to watch.

she got owned, and i got chills.

  • Don't know who you are but you certainly have exquisite taste in music, politics and TV. Thanks

  • the point here is that the Christian religions have really decided to hold on to only one of the teachings from these Old Testament passages: the condemnation of homosexuality. I might understand their position if they were equally faithful to the ideas of enslaving their daughters or putting someone to death for working on the Sabbath - or EVEN killing adulterers. But they don't. The foundation for their position, therefore, is hypocrisy and bigotry - NOT steadfast adherence to their faith.

  • Homosexuality as a sin is not only in the Old Testament but also in the first chapter of the book of Romans.

  • Thereby proving one and for all that both testaments are made up bullshit perceptions of real people pretending to know what's best for everyone in God's eyes.

If God favored chosen people like Jews over Christians- there would be no Christians- Just as if God preferred black spotted giraffes over brown spotted giraffes there would be no black spotted giraffes.

This logic is so simple that children can understand it.

    What's your excuse chufuss?

  • What? I don't think you understood my point. don't think I had a point, just a simple comment. I don't think God chooses one group of people over another

  • I've read it and re-read it and I think it's the brown-spotted giraffes that would be in trouble. But I get your point.

In addition to Romans, the New Testament book of Jude also condemns the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude is a one-chapter book that offers nothing original. It also claims Enoch was seventh from Adam as opposed to three Old Testament passages that say he was sixth. And it name-drops the book of Enoch (which is not canon). A good editor would not have made these mistakes.

  • In books written over a 1000 years ago,

if in a 1000 years time people read Harry Potter would they believe Wizards lived in our time, no cause its out of date

  • Actually if you want to get technical homosexuality is not a sin. Homosexual acts are the sins. It's all very silly if you ask me.

  • Brandon, you should start to think for yourself and put down the silly book.

  • You clearly can't differentiate when I elucidate the teachings of the book and when I speak my own opinion. Youtube comments make for a terrible dialog heh.

  • Yes I agree with you, all these self righteous religious people telling the world to love the sinner but hate the sin, trying to portray their compassionate side. But they choose and pick the sins they want to castigate.

In my community they will bash the gays but insist thier domestic helpers work on Sundays

  • dont forget that being born is the first sin you have made. what the fuck???

  • Comment removed

  • @docrt925 However not all Christians subscribe to that belief! And stereotyping ALL Christians as bible-beating ignorant bigots is just as bad as Christians condeming homosexuality while not condeming other actions condemend in the bible!

  • He wiped the floor with that idiotic bitch!

  • Gee I guess some of the posters missed the entire point of President Barlett's speech.

In the show he is Catholic. He is saying that some of the things written in the Bible were true of that time, but that they are no longer acceptable now. That it isn't what Christ intended at all. Lumping ALL Christians together is as wrong as lumping any group of indivduals together under a title. Hate is hate.

  • Religion.. the most stupid and ridiciolous (sp?) thing in existence.

  • well the abrahamic religions (islam, judeaism, christianity) are. i don't really mind hinduism or buddhism.

  • GAWD HATES BARBERS! Leviticus 19:27 "Ye shalt not round the corners of thy head, nor shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard."

  • That's the very same text (specifically Romans) that explains homosexual actions and feelings are sinful.

no the x-tians want us to feel guilty. i feel guilty when i kill a flie but i definitly don't feel guild if i fuck my boyfriend. just because xtians are sexualy frusstrated does't mean the rest of the world is.

  • rcn5006, according to the bibe the laws still stand. Take a look at Matthews5:17-19. It states that Jesus said "Don't think for a second that that I have come to demolish the Scriptures of God's Laws or the lessons of the prophets."

  • Also: He even goes so far as to say "Trivialize even the smallest item in God's Law and you will have but trivialized yourself. Take it seriously and show the way for others." To me that sounds like the Old Testament stil applies. I'm not judging anyones beliefs or morals just adding to the discussion.

  • The other thing is, the "not destroy, but fulfill" is also a very clear mention that without the Old Testament to show why there was need for Jesus, no one would fully comprehend the capacity in which he returned nor why. The Old Testament, and specifically the Leviticus laws are not to be destroyed, rather observed and then taken within the context that the New Testament is the New Law.

  • The fact that he "fulfilled" means the laws themselves and that way of living has been ended. It's very clear, considering that way of life and the inability to enter the gates of heaven was the expressed reason why Jesus came down.

  • Inability to enter heaven is strictly incorrect. The idea of living on in the Old Testament is through ones descendants. Jesus came down yes to fulfill the Law, and yes the idea is to now live by faith. However that was the intention with the original Law as well, Hosea 6:6 among others, the spirit of the Law was always above the letter.

  • As for the others who feel turned off of the Christian "religion" please understand that it was never intended to be a religion at all, it is a relationship with God... and if you choose not to believe that is your right and no one should press you on it.

  • The Old Testament, more specifically the Leviticus laws was the proof that people in society could not successfully live a holy life. Jesus fulfilled the laws and gave himself so we could be saved and granted heaven. That is strictly correct.

  • Do you honestly believe that the Hebrews were all murdering, rapist, homosexuals before these verses were written down?

  • Man, talking about having your ass being handed to you on a diamond platter.

  • GAWD HATES FEMALE TEACHERS / PREACHERS! Timothy 2:12 "Suffer not a woman to teach, nor to take authority from the man, but to be in SILENCE" (Aren't most of the teachers in our educational system FEMALE? Damn, I guess we're fucked!).

  • I don't know what to say Death2Bigots. I read this and I see a clear sign of bigotry and misogynistic vomited all over the place. The interesting part is everyone apparently licking every little bit of it and I thought gluttony was a sin.

  • The churchies always rattle back with the same excuses "That's Mosaic law, that's Old Testament, we're not supposed to go by that anymore cuz we have Jesus" if such is the case, why single our Lev 18:22 and not follow all the OTHER dumb shit God commanded? The Bible always condones Racism, because of some Curse of Ham / Canaan bullshit. All black people are a result of some curse Noah put on his kid for walking in on him naked and drunk.

  • Hah, what I really want to know how Noah, his wife (15th marriage!), 3 couples managed to spawn so many diverse race and ethnicities in matter of only few hundred years. Please, somebody explain this improbability to me.

  • And even before that... Adam and Eve! (I've pondered this question since I was 7 yo, still going to a Baptist church in Wva.) Adam and Eve were the only two people God made (well besides Lilith, but no one counts her). Would Cain or Able had to have sex with their mom or sister at some point in order to further the species? WE'RE ALL RELATED TO ADAM AND EVE, AND EVERYTIME WE FUCK SOMEONE, ITS INCEST! LULZ.

  • Well, I was raised in the Islamic country but pretty much the same set of bullshit stories... At 8, they told us about how some prophet was swallowed by a whale (!@#$%) AND HE SURVIVED the indigestion for a whole frigging year!!! Talking about HOLY SHIT.

  • I asked the guy how he didn't die of asphyxiation, stomach acid and no food, not to mention if a food stays in your stomach for over a few weeks, you'll die. So I guess the question should be expanded to the wellfare of the whale as well. I was slapped in the first for questioning God's will.

  • I do do believe Ms. Tense Twat got served!

  • It's amazing how a small dose of pure common sense becomes the panacea for those who aren't terminally ill with the disease of ignorance. What a masterfully written piece of dialogue from West Wing creator, Aaron Sorkin! No doubt Dr. Jenna Jacobs was the archetypal representation for Dr. Laura Schlessinger in this scene.

  • Just brilliant! Marin Sheen is a legend! if only Jed Bartlet really was POTUS.

  • Just have said MARTIN and not marin!

  • That was an awesome smackdown! Scenes like these is why TWW was one heck of a show.

  • I never watched the west wing but now i wish that I had! Great episode clip and I ove it, myself being a homosexual it made me chuckle a little.

  • Mixing Ideas. 18:22 never says to take any specific action.

  • They dont state that it does here. They merely quote that it is an abomination.

  • Unles you are refering to the different cloths and seeds. There is no specific action demanded there. But who really cares what the ramblings of the Old Testament says??? Unfortunatly far to many retards.

  • I am refering to the fact that the other scriptures mentioned require you to respond in some way.

  • I don't understand what you mean

  • Never mind.

  • Yes!!!

  • If only he was really president.

  • That bitch got pwn'd big time.

That'll teach her. I love this, it's so favorited.

  • I love this. He attacks the absurdity and inconsistency of Christianity, not Christianity itself.

We NEED a president like this.

    This bitch got OWNED!

  • How do you attack the absurdity of Christianity without attacking Christianity itself? That doesn't make sense.

Anyway, people talk about the inconsistency of Christianity without really looking at it deeper than that. In the New Testament, it states that the coming of Jesus places new laws over the people, that may or may not necessarily coincide with the old laws previous. All the Scripture used in this clip came from the Old Testament.

  • Well said. With out trying to start an argument............... If you READ the bible for yourself (instead of taking the words of others who have and twist it) you will answer so many questions for yourself and that is the point.!!!
