  • WoW! I remember the Jets as a teen, but now I am really rediscovering them and getting into their music. What a talented family!

  • Great beat, fun and easy-to-do dance moves that even my retarded, dance-handicapped whiteass can follow, what is not to like?

  • Reminds me of "the club" back in the day.

  • Sounds like an odd cross between Prince's "Alphabet St.", who like The Jets also happens to come from Minneapolis, and Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance".

  • I love the way BELIEVE opens with this song (hard hitting with male lead) and then goes immediately into SOMEONE TO LOVE ME (sad slow song with female lead)....The Jets were so versatile and this album proved it more than the other two.....

  • EPIC!

  • A Godley and Creme-directed video?

  • Wickard!!! loving this stuff" damn i remeber when they did one of they're first concert here, at the POWER STATION down here in NZ they dance non stop right throught their whole 2hr show" totally amazing especially to see a Group like these guyz , bring such a high calibre of Performance to our modest shores well back then anywayz it waz the 80's or waz it the 90's!! can't rightly remember" but they were too much anywayz...

  • TheJetsVevo ., I hope you'd find a music video of "You Got It All Over" by the Jets , of course..I wonder if that song had any music vid ., I'd be glad if there is because The Jets was just the best .., and though I wasn't yet born in the 80s .. I luv all 'em 80s music like this and also Modern Talking ., The Jets., Blue System ., and more more more!!

  • Remember when artists back then were nominated for an award, you couldn't choose because everyone deserved it! Now, when I watch these award shows, I just don't care!

  • @HottDame36 thats cos ur old, there was just as much shyte back in the 80s as there is now

  • @bluejeckett Elaborate please and how old are you?

  • @HottDame36 Im 30 so born in 80 s only remember the second half of the 80s but trust me I love 80s music so Ive seen alot of 80s music shows repeats and awards shows and there was just as much shit back then as there is now, its not the decade that changes its just the fact u remember your youth with rose tinted glasses and then stop being interested once u grow up and stop listening to pop music.

  • @bluejeckett I'm 40 and I remember music from the seventies as well. Plus I was blessed to have an open mind when it comes to music! I'm a fan of different genres. Since I was young I was exposed to Duke Ellington Patsy Cline Motown the Doors the Mamas and the Poppas Janis Joplin Jimi Hendrix . There are artists who I listen to now that are not getting enough exposure Dwele Marsha Ambrosia Joss Stone etc. It seems you are only interested in pop music.

  • @HottDame36 Oh yes I dont doubt that. But the original point was your comment it seems on how music back then was better than music today hence my point it's not the world that changes its just those in it. I love all types of music. No I'm not just interested in pop. I was just responding to the fact justabout every video I come across has someone commenting about how the 80s were the best decade or the 70s or the 90s even and how now it isnt as good, the fact is everyone has thier own sountrak

  • @bluejeckett In my first statement I did not mention that the the 80's was the best. I said artists back then. The soundtrack of my life consists of musicians and producers of today and yesterday who took pride in their music. Instead of using auto tunes and looks.

  • @HottDame36 Granted, but auto tunes and looks came with every decade, theres reallyu no diff now ans opposed to then and some would call this track auto tunes and looks but if u grew up with it youd call it classic, its all perspective

  • @bluejeckett Auto tunes was introduced in 1997. If you go back and look at singers from back in the day majority of them were harsh to the eyes but could belt out a tune. So far you have based everything solely on this particular group. I still groove to my grandparents music as well as my parents music. I have yet to hear what you like listening to growing up. Do you have a pair of rose colored glasses? Do you take the time to listen to music from the past? I mean way back.

  • @HottDame36 I like alll sorts of music, doesnt matter what era it is and thats my point, people hark on about how the decade they grew up in was somehow better than the decade that came after when it's not, the common response is they dont make music like this anymore, well yes they do its just most people are tuned in to the decade from thier youth theyre not going to keep moving with the subsequent decades after because theyre going to feel most nostalgic about what they grrew up with.

  • @bluejeckett I think people of all ages would agree that the 80s had the best music. Even kids that were born in the 90s agree so.

  • @danewson Er no thats like say8ing the kids of the 80s liked 70s music, the 80s is now classic, when once it was considered a decade of syntehtic shuite and pap, its all stilll perspecrivre, nothing changes just cos of a decade, I love 80s music but Im not talking abot me taking about public nperception

  • Love The Jets when they came to Auckland NZ I remember they just rocked it.Apparently Prince was there during the production of the clip.

  • O-M-G I love this song, ohh the memories. I remember i used to dance just like them at the bus stop before school. Had my walkman in hand and was bustin out the moves. i love THE JETS. Miss u guys

  • Way ahead of it's time. Loved it!!!!!
