Wow, do you always see a morepork during the day? I was raised to believe that if you see or hear a morepork during the day, it was someone farewelling you before they pass on?

My children and I listen to a morepork every morning as it lives in the bush behind our home - in the middle of West Auckland. :) My 5yo son adores your video so thank you for uploading it!! He's cuddling his morepork soft toy as I type. lol

Every now and than we get a couple in our backyard. We can see them at day time, they are so cute. Amazing little fellows.
