  • best idea ive seen in ages, next step add 4 way splitter instead of single knife then add chainsaw to the other stabilizer to cut ur logs, good job.

  • that is genius. jcb would never have thought of that

  • Genius, That is a great idea. I am glad to see another man out there figuring out how to wark smarter, not harder.

  • is the stabilizer set to standard pressures from the factory ? Well done!

  • a remote valve, or a helper would make this pretty good. your wearing me out with all that going back and forth. it is a very good idea though

  • what you need is a child working the spool valve !!!

  • Putting a lot of hours on an expensive piece of machinery for as something as simple as wood spitting is pretty dumb IMHO

  • were u drunk when u thawt about that?

  • @dirtshower250 holy shit, is that bumblebee from transformer? gundam, perhaps.

  • @gxryd3r so me and my dad went and test drove a yellow camro and i was looking for a big red butten.

  • I've thought about something like this, but I've only got a little tractor with a front end bucket on it. I don't think it'd have the weight...

  • wow i never woulda thought..... but damn looks to work great... hell ya i think im gonna give it a whirl... rather than haulin the wood to my shop then bringin it in to split it hell split it wherever i cut it.. good thoght man

  • No it's like a guillotine instead of loping a head off your splitting wood

The actual beheading was very quick - often to the gathered crowd's disgust - taking less than half a second from blade drop to the victim's head rolling into the waiting basket.

  • WoW, most simplistic ideas are always the best! I wish I could give ya 10 stars, I guess 5 will have to do!

  • Napoleon had something similar 200 years ago

  • Napoleon had a backhoe?

  • Great Idea. How did you attach the blade to the square tubular steel?

  • i thought of that a while ago...but its the first time iv seen it done cuz i dont have a backhoe lol nice to see it works well

  • Ive got a splitter and ive got a backhoe. Ive never seen that one before. Very original. Thanks.

  • Good Idea! Not much cost involved.. i bet you just idle that puppy the entire time. Beats the heck out of all the piss poor ideas I've seen on here. I mean if that breaks just reweld it.. haha!

  • oh man- i gotta try that.its one of the best ideas i seen in a while. you thought about selling somethin like this?

  • That's a good idea. have you thought about maybe a flat plate mounted where the bucket is? maybe get a little more room?

  • Thumbs up for the idea!

  • brilliant.

  • very good idea

  • Nice, but how about a splitter made in the form of a cross? That way you could get 4 pieces at once.

  • thats a dam good idea..

  • nice splitter....

  • Brilliant! thanks bud "who'd a thunk?

  • the most original splitter designs ive seen on here, well done!

  • Thanks: It has been working great. Split about 3 cord so far. The last one tok about 1.5 Hrs.

  • Nice idea but it's probably not a good idea to get your hand between the blade and the log.

  • What log splitting company did you say you worked for? Because I don't get your commet.

I wouldn't want to get my hand between any wood splitter!
