Great video! Lots to be learned from the Redman's wisdom for sure! Doesn't matter your lineage... it's never too late to step into a wiser way of living.
there is a way to live with technology and respect mother earth and her resources. im talking about the Venus project. you should research it and consider it. its an interesting perspective
@pistolpete667 Thank you for your comment, I have studied the venus project and agree with many philosophies. The video I created is trying to wake people up and get them to think. We have solutions but continue to be unable to shift out of our current system. I hope anyone who sees the video is inspired to think and create action, our childrens children futures depend on us being able to become wiser in a harmounious sense. We must remember we are from the earth
One time i had conversation with my friend and his message was loud and clear: "Meaning of life is that we born, go to school and then find job that we can buy television´s etc.`" :D I was like WTF..... Is that really the perception of life that most of the ppl have... I mean... Oh my fucking god...... :/ And if i must choose, earth or ppl, i choose earth.
@choclatesuprman The video I created was not meant to stir feelings of racism. While It may be easy to say white people are to blame, I would go beyond that and say it was a mode of thinking instilled in a race "Concepts of money from banking" which helped fuel the ideoligy of greed. Please don't take this as a defense to the many horrible things that history shows, just we will need to rise above these selflimiting thoughts if we want to be able to focus on solving the problem
@barrymorefan You are your races decendant, have no shame! Each day is a chance to start a new path. Your feelings will help drive you to do good when opportunity presents its self

We the first people of this land, understood mother earth and all her gifts to us,was so we could live a good life. What makes me sad is the white mans government could never see beyond greed. Now here in late 2011 we are witness to more unjust laws and a government of nearly total corruption. Soon we may all be gone from our human form. Something I know my spirit will still be here watching and in a force still not understood I'll be here to help. May I bless all my relations.ah ho....
Interesting video and it's good to see that John is still around, because one certainly can't communicate with him as I have tried. The only hope for this earth is for us to learn that there is no path to truth. This thinking that there is a "path" is the reason we are where we are now. Please read The Dawn of Intelligence, 30 years in the making and 'they' tried to stop me; it's free on Wildman Walker's blog.
Thank you for posting..I have seen Red Crow speak before..it all makes me very sad as everything is on the wrong path. I keep holding out 'heart'. Very good choice of Lisa Gerrard also.
The abstract nature of Truth is found at the confluence of contradictions,....the place where the river runs both ways.....there is One Love and its infinite so sharing is easy....thank you Creator
What is 'civilization'? Years ago, European/Americans believed that they were creating the perfect civilization and forced every other race that had the misfortune to come their way, to be like them. It is time to accept that European/White American mentality is a spiritual failure. I lived the rest 35 years of my life in Europe, and am now in the U.S., so I know what I am talking about. It is time to accept what we have done to one other and understand that ALL PEOPLE are equal.
Touching video. Cool how you included William Commanda. It's good to generate all this discussion. Well done. Lot's of people wanting to believe what they want to believe. The challenge for me is to apply my perception of reality regardless of what I think of the past, that what I have here today is still good, any less and the danger to not value it is present. Yes there is pollution and clear cutting, My children too, so I must endure and never give up. Listen with your heart kiidaa. Miigwetch
Also, throughout indigenous peoples, there are actually many instances of third sexes, and people were not locked into being a female 'role' or male 'role' This is a colonial lens that we are all struggling to look through. WE must get out of the dicotomy, this polorized thinking. Nature is a circle, and a functioning community requires people who are not on these extremes, and have talents in mediation between these 'poles'
Man will not be wiped out because he is civilized, because he is not civilized. A civil man is a polite man, and a civilized people are civil, or polite. We have no civilization here. .This society is uncivilized. It is a society of aggression and war. This society rapes and pillages the Earth. It is a society of greedy uncaring barbarians who care only for their own selfish needs and desires . It is a society that does not seek to live in harmony with other men nor with the Earth
@peterb37 Civilazation is in Western society continually connected to having an army. This to me is the definition of civilized. Having humanity and culture is closer to what you talk about. Today, there is too much disconnect and communicaton is broken down and people not knowing what is politness is a symptom of this.
Great piece, beautiful, wise perspectives. only note, if humans were 95% water we'd be puddles! I think we're closer to 65-75% (which is still a LOT!). Man, I sound like Cliff Clavin! excellent upload TVS. LIKED.
I agree with you on most points, but work was more balanced then women doind all the work. Women would gather and prepair food and watch after the young while the men hunted. Both essential and important to the tribe. It just so happened that hunting was a form of work that was very enjoyable and very connected to true exsitance. What I admire is that your only true job was to teach your children the ways of the world and to be with them. Now your lucky if you can pay the bills and ever see them
@TheVanishingSacred actually, all the tribes didnt work that way (as far as the women doing all the work). A lot of tribes, the men would grow and gather food as well as hunt. women would raise children, prepare meals, prepare skins and make clothes out of them. In yet other tribes its even different from that. The most important thing is that BOTH parents were raising the children and teaching them, and the tribe worked together to help eachother!
@TheVanishingSacred Thank you for posting this...I've just shared it to my Facebook page. And I wanted to let you know that We Rainbow Warriors are Gathering Together now...in this amazing time we are just starting to live through...We will take John and Floyd's words with us....Thank you, again. - Lizzie
the indain had it all figured out, then the white man came , indains were free, white man thought he could improve on what the indain had , he got up went fishing and hunting, payed no tax was owned by no man,.and the women did most the work.lol, white man killed alot more indains then hitler did jews, but dont teach that in school. its sad what america has become.may your unfailing love come to me OLORD.

The answer is so simple. Stop supporting the system that is fatally flawed and follow your heart.
