Best person for get this achiev easy is EVE. I got hours of gameplay with all others[cain,isaac,magdaleine] and dont found him, but the 1st time i played with her[Eve], he appeared and at 2nd floor. Sry my bad english just tip for u guys. Thx!

Changing the 63 numbers for 64 (even replacing it all) made the secret appear ALTHOUGH it said I was a bad boy and erased all my achievements. Don't do it, I think they patched it.

I have the same problem as mr.smellyburger, it keeps changing its self back to 63 when the game is launched. I tried disconnected form the cloud too and logged out of steam and still no luck.

Guys! I got Krampus, alright what you need to do is THIS:

Finish level 1 and kill the first boss without losing ANY LIVES.

Finish level 2 and kill the second boss without losing ANY LIVES. (Again)

Then it should appear on a side of the room (myn was at the front)

@Moheet24 It's supposed to be a difficult, unforgiving game in much the same way Super Meat Boy was. I like the permanent death system, since the game is randomly generated and you find different power ups and items each time you play i don't mind dying.

Krampus is actually a person that (according to Alpine countries) travels with Santa and warns/punishes the bad kids while St. Nick gives the good kids gifts. If Krampus got a REALLY bad kid, he'd stuff him/her in his bag and probably eat them.

@littlebigphil Of all the arcade indie small studio games i've gotten over the steam sales this is by far my least favorite. It has a sense of humor and great sound but that's it. It's too random for me to really enjoy and i'm talking about the levels and enemies. I'm also not the biggest fan of the controls.

@SheetaPally Well, you can see Satan several times in every playthrough, it all depends on few factors like not taking damage on the whole floor or during the boss fight and, well, having some luck :P This game is truly random in every way and it suprises you pretty much each time you play it :)

In order to get the door to appear, enter the boss' chamber and defeat it without taking any damage. I just got my coal, good luck! :)

@psChrystine This achievement is mostly luck based, the only real skill involved is staying a live long enough to get to a random Devil room and to be able to defeat Krampus. Some people get it first try and other people can put hours into it and not see Krampus once.

Do you have to have earned a specific ending before he can appear in satan rooms? I have only defeated mom so far, and have been in at least 11 post-boss satan rooms without encountering the krampus.

This achievement is incredibly retarded. I visited Satan's room for about 15 times so far and this guy doesn't sppear at all. It's not only time consuming but frustrating aswell. Achievement doesn't equal luck.

Best to just play the game normally and visit Satan's room every chance you get.
